I have a medium sized hand and love this knife,probably my favorite in my collection.i like small knives because they serve my purpose without scaring the people around you.
I cut through a 3-layer clamshell package with my Baby Banter last week. It was surprisingly smooth and easy. I did not even realize there were 3 layers till I started removing the pieces after cutting. It is also a very easy carry, 5th pocket or main. The weight is negligible, and the full "forward choil" is my favorite blade design feature for safety and precision.
Got mine in purple G10 when they released and I love it!

Oh yeah. They nailed this one. The best part is that while it is smaller and under the Civivi brand, it doesn't feel like a lesser quality knife than the WE Banter. If you live in a place with a tyrannical 2.5-inch blade limit, or just want a smaller knife, this one is a no-brainer.
Ben did a fantastic job. Never thought I would find a small knife I like more then the Tufflite-yet the Baby Banter is better in almost everyway. Except I know its nowhere near as tough as the Cold Steel.
No matter the price point, I love a well thought out design.

I have the purple baby banter. Is one of my favorite knives in my growing civivi collection.
I fell in loved with this little knife the moment I saw it. That's why I ordered one.
Sometimes I just carry 2 knives. A small knife in my coin pocket and a full size either in my main right pocket or a back pocket. I've got a blue baby banter and am loving it. Detent is great, sharp as hell, 1st nitro V blade but its performing well so far.
How is nitro v in use now?
Got the purple micarta Wharncliffe blade last month and has been in my pocket everyday at the office since. Love it.

I like the baby banter. It's hard to choose between it and the Spyderco Dragonfly when I want a great 5th pocket knife.
That's great to see Civivi cut away for liner lock access on this one. My biggest complaint with their knives is liner-lock access. Like the Drifter II has zero cutout, so you really have to jam your thumb in there to disengage the lock.
I totally need to pick up one or two. My normal edcs are a swiss army cadet or a Spyderco lil native. I think this would be a great alternative in the mix. Glad they added a little relief for the liner access. Size looks perfect for those of us with 2.5" limits at work...
This baby banter and the Kizer Mini Sheepdog in black stonewashed 154cm (thumbhole, no flipper) are my favorite 2 small knives/5th pocket carry
I have a friend who is nervous about knives. A small knife like this might be something she’d consider (she also has tiny hands), but I think she’d prefer a button lock.
Looks like you use that Tuff Lite! How do you like it?
I'm with you on not actually needing much blade in my casual EDC use, but once they're below a certain size, they just become awkward to manipulate. So I wind up carrying more blade than I need just because of the overall size needs. Also your choil catch in the paper is why I wish forward choils would disappear when not needed. When you're not using them on a cut, especially on a small knife like this or Tuff Lite or whatever, they get caught easily.
I love this guys overall cheery/upbeat vibes.

That is a sweet little knife. I don't think $60 is entirely unreasonable for what you are getting. I love the red scales I think they look magnificent. I'm going to put that one on my wish list. Thanks for the video!

@@GrandmasterBBC it's such an awesome knife. If you buy one you definitely won't regret it. I have a baby banter and I honestly like it better than my we banter. My baby banter has been from the great smokie mountains of Tennessee to the Outerbanks of North Carolina and on top of the highest mountains in Virginia. I have fallen in love with this knife. I have $200+ knives and I still just can't get away from this thing. I have knives I like more than my baby banter but for the price you can't not buy one.

Do you have any experience with Two Suns knives ? I found a couple I really like the looks of but was curious of quality and even tho the ones I’m looking at are m390 the way it is treated makes it good or not as you know.

how did they do a reversable clip on this little guy but not on the elementum? civivi makes some strange choices with there knives, there great but sometimes they are a little inconsistent, like in there pocket clips
Friend didn't like his much because he felt it was too small. Put a lanyard and bead on it for him and it's his go to secondary carry

It's called a Spydie flick. Knives with a thumb hole or thumb stud can be opened with your middle finger from the other side of the blade if you're holding it like the way he's holding it. There's videos online if you're interested. cheers

Forward choil?Did you just made up that term? :) :) I heard people use terms like "sharpening choil" and "finger choil", and IMHO those terms are wrong, "sharpening notch" and "finger groove behind a choil/heel, under ricasso" are maybe more precise. Choil is choil, groove is groove :) Please someone correct me if I`m wrong, english is not my first language. Nice colors on that Civivi. Love your videos, best regards from Croatia.
That's the best thing about the English language. Everything is made up anyway, so whether or not it was a term before, I've decided to make it a term from here forward 😉

I have the original banter in 20CV and still carry from time to time. I don't travel a whole lot so I haven't really considered a dedicated travel knife but this one may have to be it.

I have both and I prefer the Odium, personally. With the Odium, the finger choil feels optional or situational, but with the Baby Banter it's pretty much mandatory. Feels super awkward to hold with only three fingers.
