- It's no secret that some of my all-time favorite singers are David Coverdale, Lou Gramm, Paul Rodgers, and even my own cousin Sammy Hagar! Is This Love is one of David Coverdale's best Love songs. You've gotta check it out!
But speaking of David Coverdale, he has been a huge influence on me as a vocalist.
So after my fairly recent post of "Here I Go Again" I was asked if I could represent the "softer" side of David Coverdale. (I thought to myself, did they just say "softer" side of a six legged, 50,000 pound, carnivorous man-eating, colosseum-destroying King Kong / Godzilla monster? (ha, ha, ha, ha)
And then I remembered, (as I was visualizing King Kong gently holding a woman as he was being fired upon, on the Empire State building), that David did do a song like this!
It's called "Is This Love" by his band, Whitesnake.
So I put my hat in the ring and decided to take it on.
While I didn't have Tawny Kitaen to sing to (to tame the wild beast), I did find myself once again appreciating David's amazing vocal skills.
I hope you can appreciate it too!

Your voice always reminded me of David Coverdale's, with your rich, deep tones, and super high power notes. So cool to hear you cover DC!
Ken transfers the emotion of the song to the audience, able to draw you in and feel the song. He keeps beautiful facial expressions, his breathing is completely silent especially when drawing in large amount of air. His voice is crystal clear. His singing appears effortless. His ability to sound exactly like the original artist is incredible. His neck and throat doesn't bulge with veins and look tight. Ken looks relaxed as he belts out what appears to be hard notes. If his students are learning all these techniques too, every one learning to sing should contact Ken and enroll in his Vocal Academy.

Since I've studied a lot of your program and a lot of practice singing too you tube karaoke my voice has become much more powerfull I've won many karaoke and talent contest and I only started sing 2 years ago I even have a few local bands wanting me to sing for them thank you Ken for your tutorials next is my 12 year daughter she is a pure natural but I'm going to introduce her to your program
