I felt this! I’ve been blessed enough to have experienced that kind of love, I prayed the Ciara prayer and I enjoyed being single. Next thing I know my man came along and proposed within 6 months, his love was pure and I knew he was sent from God. Unfortunately he went to be with the lord leaving me a window. I swear your advice is always timely. I think I found a respectful, good guy but he just isn't funny and doesn't really ask about my interests just share his. I knew it was not not going to work when he sent me song about his feelings rather than just saying it. If you like me just say it. He has to be there for me when I'm feeling down and comfortable with opening up. It can't just be me. Texting me first is not enough. Communicate what you want if you want it. Just writing this to remind myself really. I invited him to the beach, but Idk what I should do about that now because my heart is like "not the one move along." Ok progress update: Just told him how I felt basically said that we are too similar and because I'm just starting out in my improvement journey I'm not everything I want to be yet, and I'm not everything I want in someone else yet. I have to be the best version of myself and I'm not there yet. He is supportive seems like a pretty great guy all things considers and cares for me, but like Breeny said the compatibility just isn't there for me. He doesn't have most of the things on my list. Maybe half. I have to be everything I want first and I was clear about that. I'm glad I told him what I was feeling. Big weight off my shoulders and I'm excited to move on! Though also I won't deny I am a bit sad but with the right one I won't have doubts. I will not ask if he is the right person I will know. I won't feel unsure and the right one won't make me guess. He will be direct with me, and I will be on board 100%. We probably could have worked a bit but true compatibility wasn't there. We have different wants in life and very different hobbies. Don't know if we will stay friends but this is for the best and this I know. With the right one, I'll be sure.

This video was really healing for me. I just started a new chapter of my life starting a PhD program and I'm scared of change. I swear your advice is always timely. I think I found a respectful, good guy but he just isn't funny and doesn't really ask about my interests just share his. I knew it was not not going to work when he sent me song about his feelings rather than just saying it. If you like me just say it. He has to be there for me when I'm feeling down and comfortable with opening up. It can't just be me. Texting me first is not enough. Communicate what you want if you want it. Just writing this to remind myself really. I invited him to the beach, but Idk what I should do about that now because my heart is like "not the one move along." Love the part about if I had to ask it's not right, and I have to ask at this point.
I can relate. If he isnt communicating well now, that will be what will eventually break yall up later down the road. As we all know, in a relationship, comunication is key. MOVE ON. Ok progress update: Just told him how I felt basically said that we are too similar and because I'm just starting out in my improvement journey I'm not everything I want to be yet, and I'm not everything I want in someone else yet. I have to be the best version of myself and I'm not there yet. He is supportive seems like a pretty great guy all things considers and cares for me, but like Breeny said the compatibility just isn't there for me. He doesn't have most of the things on my list. Maybe half. I have to be everything I want first and I was clear about that. I'm glad I told him what I was feeling. Big weight off my shoulders and I'm excited to move on! Though also I won't deny I am a bit sad but with the right one I won't have doubts. I will not ask if he is the right person I will know. I won't feel unsure and the right one won't make me guess. He will be direct with me, and I will be on board 100%. We probably could have worked a bit but true compatibility wasn't there. We have different wants in life and very different hobbies. Don't know if we will stay friends but this is for the best and this I know. With the right one, I'll be sure.

I’ve been in a relationship 20 years and I wrote that list...and he is christian, I’ve been the beat version of me ...and also same for him, .we had our struggles but stayed together all these years. I like your views on life, you are wise and I like the fact the your like a best friend sharing your experiences so you can help others. You have a big heart and the reason why you have such a great following, people just don’t have that compassion in their lives, because social media doesn’t allow people to connect and have meaningful relationships... or people are too scared to be themselves or feel too vulnerable to open up and feel comfortable, I know, because it happened to me....when you do find that person in your life, love changes you and you just feel comfortable to be yourself...and then you know if he’s “the one”. I've been single my entire life and when I say the discouragement sneaks up.. it sneaks up and set me in the saddest mood ever like "Maybe I'm not on the right path" and I wrote this in my journal a few seconds ago. The thought of a man of God who loves me and is wiling to pray together as a couple ? It's hard for me to even see that happening.. it's just bittersweet. This video was really healing for me. I just started a new chapter of my life starting a PhD program and I'm scared of change. I'm not happy with my weight, I'm not taking care of myself like I should, and I was on every dating app possible. Since all my friends are engaged or married I feel like I'm missing out at 24.
