FYI: FreeCAD v0.20 came out a few days ago, and it includes things like being able to extrude noncontiguous sketches (ie. "islands") and drafting true threads with Part Design hole features. All the installers (or AppImages) on their main download page already point to it.
Gonna give it a test drive now. Should be good.

"Shift" + "h"? i am using the "l" like ludicrous for horizontal constraints and "i" for vertical constraints. Shift and h that's quite a distance!

There is, but my harmonics/vector mechanics is waaayyyy too rusty to be able to do that. I think I'm getting old.

If i want to take a similar pattern and wrap it / deform it along along another curved surface, is there an operation for that?
Great question. I have not seen a direct way to do that. You can have some functionality by offsetting a surface, applying some kind of pattern and trimming it with the surface. I do something like that in this video for the text and hex pattern:

It's not as robust as the wrap that you're talking about though. That would be a truly awesome feature.
@@JokoEngineeringhelp thanks for the answer! That video was also enjoyable. I think I'm going to try combining iso curves with lattice2 to place half-spheres along a curved surface. It's not going to be sinusoidal but I think it'll work for my purpose.
