Kudos to him for being able to do standup with, and about, anxiety. That would incapacitate me, like a deer in the headlights, like a ‘possum in the road, splat! Laughing about anxiety makes me feel better, thanks!

@James Barrowman I wish they had portrayed Zaphod in the movie as more faithful to the way he was in the books.. still a fun movie, buuut... not quite the way the dolphins intended it to be...

Yesterday night, I saw a Brian Regan make-up Concert in Seattle, and Steven Rogers was the opening comedian! He had mentioned this video and said people were mistaking him as Captain America. He’s not though.. But he’s a great comedian!
Used to have panic-attacks, got prescription for xanax & gave me more troubles in the long-run because of the addiction. And the whole rehab-detox-spiel ended up really screwing with my mental health and i don't think it was worth taking them pills. So yeah I feel him. For a new-comer, very solid set.
Hmmm... Were you taking the pills daily? I was thinking of getting a prescription to use only when it gets really bad and I can't avoid what's affecting me. For example, I'd really like it for when I have to fly anywhere which happens maybe a couple of times a year. Do you think I should try something else?
@@chestersnap Benzos are really hard to get off. I was prescribed xanax and klonopin for 10 years and it's been hell getting off them. They do help for short term, but long term they are a nightmare. Hope that helps a little.
Hey guys hope you enjoyed the set! If you want to check out more stuff I have a podcast called Panic Attacking that's on Spotify, iTunes, and SoundCloud and my dates are on my website www.stevenrogerscomedy.com!
Very good, very relatable. I have literally sat in the car during a party with my husband's wealthy musician friends. For over an hour. Yet I am the friendliest customer service person in the world. Hm.

That was all pretty hilarious, hopefully I'll happen upon him again in the future. I've got bum memory, so I'll probably forget about him shortly but at least I got to laugh while watching this! XD
I kept expecting him to bring up his name and the funny situations he must get into because of it. And then he was all like, "no, I don't think I will"

Stephen, get this man a shield.
Does vibranium help with anxiety? XD
Couldn't hurt to try. It does so much else.
He has one to offer...
They have one in the studio!
@@simpleton7 That's the best part!

He made it on stage without screaming, and collapsing on the floor... so he's got me beat already.
Yes, he's dressed and got to the studio.
"Then you see it stuck to your friend and youre like- eh he'll figure it out........looks gross tho" 😂😂😂😂

Literally came to the comments to make a joke about the fact that his name is Steven Rogers, but you were already here :)
@@specialpatrolgroup92 what is the joke about steven Rogers? Now I'm interested lol.
I found this guy way funnier than the audience seemed to find him 😆
But maybe that's because I have anxiety and panic disorder 😅
Yea me too👍👍
I'm sorry you both deal with it, too, but it's good to know you're not on your own, ya know? 😊
Ditto! The audience could not relate...or were afraid to laugh.
@@bettyveronica460 LMAO!
Same. The part about being too anxious to take the meds bc of side effects, I laughed so hard bc facts
This makes so much sense to me. Very relatable content right here :D
Right?? I laughed so much harder than the audience did 😂
I'm amazed at how he can keep smiling through the anxiety. I would have looked like I was malfunctioning lol
BD Rogers never misses 👏👏
This guy was hilarious! So many good little jokes that the audience seemed to miss. Audience didn't seem to like him much but I loved him! ❤️❤️
Thought this was gonna be about Captain America
Coincidentally, Chris Evans does have a video talking about anxiety.
aww that's where I recognise the name. I was thinking Mr Rogers?
Me too!
Modern captain America. Nothing more 2019 American than anxiety
And pot smoking mom
He was hilarious and adorable
Cap before the Super Soldier Serum ☺
Never has the phrase “it’s funny because it’s true” been more, well, true. I am definitely keeping an eye out for more of this man’s work.
Hah! This is funny because I have anxiety and complex PTSD! And depression. And. Well. It's always, "so long and thanks for all the fish!"

Why does this man have the name of Captain America but the voice of Bruce Banner?
Man of many hidden talents
Because he has the head and neck of the Hulk and the rest of his body like Cap before he changed.
He looks ans sounds like seth Meyers.
Delightfully funny. Good job !

Good set. Better than most of the stand ups they feature.
I wpuld definitely want to hear him again
wow - Captain America looks so different on TV
It's before he got the injections.
A Captain America Shield would really booster his confidence. Hint hint.
Super funny, very relatable.
Joey Tribbiani cracks me up every single time !!
Just saw him and Brian Regan live last night, phenomenal performance!
first good one they bring in a while. his first half was really good
ive seen this guy at a dive bar. nice dude!
Seems like this guy has the same odd quirk as me: having severe anxiety but still able to speak on stage okay! He's great, good job guy!!!!!
When I first clicked on this video, I saw Steve Rogers lol and I was like why is Chris Evans going by Steve Rogers
Wait a minute... Steven Rogers? As in Pre-Captain America Steven Rogers? I can't be the first one to point this out...Similarites are striking 😏
But where's his Bucky?
Yes both suffered from anxiety.
He does look pretty small

Captain America?!
What intro music will they play for a deadpan comic? I can't see Steven Wright starting his act following that intro.
Steven Rogers AND "Tyrion Lannister's Jester Cousin"
Steven Rogers AND "Nervous Man In A Four Dollar Room"
Sucks that Steven can’t be bothered to be in the studio when the comics perform.
