I don't think a lot of these ppl realize they're on the spectrum. The anxiety and depression comes from dealing with our environment, they're a result, not the main problem.
I absolutely had the same experience, had to ask for my diagnosis because they didn't tell me and I googled all my pills. I think a lot of the time they don't specify diagnosis because there are a lot of comorbid symptoms and it's hard to focus on one diagnosis when there could be underlying factors. So that's why they try different combinations of meds and even then, everyone reacts to meds differently. So don't focus too much on diagnosis but it can help you understand yourself a bit better.
I live and think, therefore I am depressed and anxious. A drug to make it all less bothersome does NOT seem like a good idea! Everybody NEEDS to be paying attention to what is going on in their lives.
You know you're depressed when you start looking at your own life (at different times) and IT pales in comparison. Hey Neal, maybe I am isolated and maybe the tribe IS rejecting me.
For those who are reading too much into these jokes... they are jokes stop taking this shit seriously comedy is meant to offend people so they can feel better about the satire of they're lives
Brian didn’t have a point 😂 not to be a spoiled sport but it’s actually pronounced “chin-gus” khan. No, i wasn’t there at the time but historians have explained why the difference, and it boils down to soft/hard pronunciations. One is easier so it’s been adopted but it doesn’t mean it’s correct
It's not even how you'd pronounce Genghis. The guy he overheard was mixing his knowledge up. Genghis's actual real name isn't known. Mongol language at the time he was named was a mess. They didn't have a language so much as they used different languages from around Asia and Eastern Russia. It's Genghis who eventually had one of his administrators create a language based on Chinese. And this was later changed again anyway by his Grandson, Kublai Kahn. I think they both went through a few versions of the language, but more so Khublai than Genghis. Genghis was a war leader while Khublai was an administrator. But anyway, the point is is that Genghis's real name has been lost in translations of old languages that don't have many records, if any. The only thing we do have for this was a record that made Genghis real name sound something like "Chingus", and Chingus is the name some people who study Mongolian/Chinese history will call him. So the guy at the party was mixing Genghis and Chingus together
@jeffducharme I'm the guy who likes to make those guys look stupid. I enjoy Mongol history. A lot. Genghis is my favourite historical figure. I guess this one just annoyed me a bit. I'm not nearly as well-versed in MongolChinese history as the authors i read though. But unlike the guy in the story, I'm not trying to fake my knowledge of the subject . There's way more details to what I said in the original post that I have forgotten, and so I didn't feel confident enough to mention them.
@@bloomington4965 Not as bad as your grammar. These people make millions, you just confused THEY for THERE and didn’t have the brain power to edit your mistake. Maybe don’t sleep through fifth period on Monday.
Antidepressants are geeat. Especially when you wake up and you're 70, you find out you've been on medicine for 20years and your life is slipping by with only brief moments where you are yourself. The rest of the time is a blurr and a fog covering all your memories. I've watched what medicine has done for my mother. I have all the same problems she does. I refuse to be medicated.
That's not how they should work. Talk to her doctor. Get on a different med or back off on the dosage. Most people don't experience these side effects.
Kenneth Keyes wrote a series of books after becoming totally disabled, so he thought: "The Handbook to Higher Consciousness" is still available, I just repurchased a lost copy replacement. Central Thesis: Turn Addictions Into Preferences (TAIP). Emotion backed desires are addictions because they stimulate your adrenal glands to produce adrenaline and cortisol: fear and aggression. We make ourselves miserable by our definitions of who we are, constantly describing ourselves in our heads in comparison to others, who are doing the same thing, too, only differently. That is what many people now call your, our, my EGO, how we define ourselves to ourselves, plural intended, as we all carry lots of selves and other egos in our heads, even if imaginary. So, we pretend we need something, but we actually just want it, often for ego based reasons, and feel like crap or get mad or anxious when that is not going to happen, or is going to happen sometimes. And around and around we go until we stop. That is the main idea, It works, dammit!
You explained that better than I ever understood it from reading Keyes. It was 30+ years ago, so I guess I wasn’t ready for it. My sister and I went to his center in Coos Bay not long before he passed.
I have 'Clinical Depression,' and I don't talk about it because I don't want sympathy, and it's not an excuse for shit behavior. I'll manage or I won't.
Humor is a VERY common way to deal with difficult topics. Making a joke about something and laughing at or about it can help people feel like they have some control over it.
@@eliomiro7855 well, it’s not, though. You made a statement that doesn’t make objective sense, so it’s not self explanatory. Is mental illness somehow related to political correctness? I’d like to know your thoughts.
I love Taylor so much! She is an incredible comedian
She’s my favorite!
This is actually useful stuff! LOL and the jokes are good. Its like a therapy session with a funny therapist lol
5:29 "finding faults that aren't there" Nice sentiment and all but I'm reasonably certain that all the ones I found are 100% real
...We can all just chill a little bit... 😉❤

Derp
Autism is super hot right now
Can you elaborate a little bit about spectrum?
@SuzanaGrau he's talking about autism spectrum disorder
Buddy depression and anxiety aren't *only* caused by autism, I hope you know that
This is everything I need, thank you
1:16 that therapist sounds like the Cousin Vinny version
1:56, "Thanks Obama!"

SEEEEGGGGUUURRRAAHHH!!!! 😁😅
All my life i just thought I was poor 😅
Love drybar. Listen at the gym. Have laughed so hard I have almost dropped the weights I have been lifting. 😊😅
Half of Tom's joke is missing - that wasn't the end... Bad editing, on my opinion.
It’s an AI. It’s too stupid to know when a joke begins and ends. It’s also unable to care.

Divine justice never fails???? What are you on??
Your life is good enough that you shouldn’t be sad. That’s the point
Not how depression works. Sigh.
You also shouldn’t be in pain. You also shouldn’t have brain damage. But you don’t heal patients by telling them what they shouldn’t have.
Oh the best part is it actually is pronounced Cheengis
Who is at 9 29
Happy birthday Taylor swift, like this if you are a swifty fan.

I agree about 69ing
Well something maybe but it goes don't get mad get even. Maybe why i didn't suffer depression much. Hmm have to think about it.
Get even?
So, you think it should be worse that every joke you make is killing you and spreading corruption?
Medicine has ‘effects’ and ‘side effects’ …. All the same… pills don’t know …
Swing and a miss
This was a Terrible Compilation.
Kirsten rocks tho
Tom Segura
Hm... ACTUALLY... Genghis Khan (Chinggis) - everybody in educated Europe says it like the guy you talk about. Go back to school :)
🗑
Ugh, this entire video is a rip off of Netflix is a Joke, only this editing is terrible.
Where did these off brand comedians come from? Oh look , "cola" are those pop tarts? Yeah toasteez
When will the jokes we coming?
"we coming" is actually making it funnier... spell check. 😂
Wow, truly where comedy goes to die😂
It's absolutely sad that comedians are reduced to this type of joke, just to be pc. It's absolutely insane. This is not funny. Like.. at all.
Care to clarify?
Humor is a VERY common way to deal with difficult topics. Making a joke about something and laughing at or about it can help people feel like they have some control over it.
@dannycolwell8028 not really. It's 100% self explanatory

Hey, you could get with the times and see a pro for your emotional and behavioral shortcomings too!
