But, I think many people would agree that throwing fancy ingredients on a plate and charging a ton of money for a mediocre meal is not the same as a great home cooked meal. I love trying new foods and I am fairly well versed in cooking (even though I am not a “chef”) but I can’t get over the fact that many “chefs” try to be the next big thing instead of just making delicious food. Proper cooking skills and technique is very important, fancy is not. At the end of the day the best tasting dish wins…even if it doesn’t look as “pretty” as an aspiring “chef” might make it.
i think a piece of cheese - a pepper jack or a swiss - right on the top of the potatoes before flipping would help them stick! but they look super yummy anyways!
