Great haul Tempus! I just picked up that Flash #129 myself, sir, awesome book! Flash #137 another x-over classic! Very nice House of Mystery to finish the comic parade of sweetness! Cool vid, amigo!

Cheers Doc, there's some of the earlier Jay appearances I don't have, there's an obvious one as well 😄But I thought it was about time I got hold of the ones I can anyway. I'm getting more into House Of Mystery and especially Strange Adventures these days, Strange Adventures has become a real favourite of mine now.

A nice haul indeed. Though, Flash looked kind of scrawny back in the Silver Age. Cool HOM for sure at the end.

He didn't look like someone who ran for a living.

🤔A lot of wiss dump in that guide to collecting. Who would have known after years of collecting that a full box means you couldn't fit anymore books inside? Flash👍; also have key issue #137. In the 2002 film "Catch Me If You Can" set in 1962 starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo Di Caprio there are two scenes involving The Flash. The first scene has FBI Agent Hanks sitting at a booth inside a diner studying the name Barry Allen he has written inside his memo pad. A young employee of the diner tells Hanks that Barry Allen is the secret identity of The Flash. The second scene which is a blooper has Hanks inside a telephone booth talking to his superior over the phone telling him that he bought some Flash comics to study ; he holds up 6 books. Now it's 1962 and whatever vendor he got the books from , Mom & Pop store or newsstand , along with the current issue they might still have one or two back issues but not 5. Those anthology books are always a good read. 🤔Jay reminiscing kinda reminds me of someone eye know!

I mean it was free anthony and maybe in years to come it'll become a collectors item itself, I'd better dig through my garbage and pull it back out just in case. I'll give Catch Me If You Can a watch at some point just to see what those Flash issues are!

It's full of reprints but it's still a nice to have, same with that Atlas Comics Library one, not bad for freebies.
