When I was younger I had a couple of relationships with musicians. It's a real job if you tour. Exhausting. Nobody cares about your jet lag. Nobody care that your plane was late and haven't eaten. Feb 4, 1990 was my first exposure to Lenny. That night he opened for Tom Petty ( Full Moon Fever tour) at Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. I was immediately blown away, impressed and awestruck. I've seen Lenny numerous times since that night, this however was one of the most magical live music events for me. I was not expecting to see an unknown musician to move me like he did.
