🤔 Fifth tea as in thirst quenching consumption or fifth tee as in swinging a hit with that haul? Whatever the definition it's a celebration to appreciate. 🎶🎶 Treasure rea(son)s for not burying away a.worthwhile hobby. Can't go wrong with them gentle genre goodies : Blondie ( one of my favorite comic strips and one that never gets acknowledged for getting passed the censors in its heyday) ,and the Disney Ducks. Big Town was another one of those DC licensed titles ( radio show then later TV show). ☝😎Now we're talking barbarian adventures - Sword of Sorcery ; Fafhrd and The Gray Mouser ; a classic short run series!

Cheers Anthony, I was on more than my fifth cup of tea before shooting that video! That's the first Blondie comic I've picked up, I'll keep an eye out for more of those, it's a nice square bound one as well, thanks for the info about Big Town and yes, I'd seen a few others now with Sword Of Sorcery so I thought while I had the chance to get them all at once I might as well do.

Cheers Jackson, I'm not much of a Bronze age guy but there's still a lot of good stuff to be had during that time.

Congrats on your 50th video Tempus. And, a great video indeed my friend. That Sword of Sorcery was a nice, short run series. I loved when DC did the DC Comics Salutes the Bicentennial on 33 of their books. I wonder how many kids ruined their comics and fell short of the goal they need to send in and get that Superman belt buckle. I also wonder if anyone has that Superman belt buckle. I have never seen one. Cool DC Treasuries as well. I enjoyed the Batman Family series and thought the last four issues were great. From what I have heard, that series was supposed to continue and the plan was to cancel Detective Comics but cooler heads prevailed and they did not cancel Detective even though it was on the struggle bus at the time. They rolled Batman Family into that book. Charlton had some under appreciated horror comics. I rarely saw a Charlton comic as a kid. Maybe at a local Kmart here in the states back in the 70s.

Cheers Erik, I meant to ask if anyone had one of those belt buckles, I even had it written on the back of backing card for the comic! I picked up Charlton stuff when I was a kid without knowing it was Charlton stuff, there was a company called Alan Class Comics that released reprint stuff over here under their own titles, a lot of that stuff was Charlton, I just didn't realise it at the time.

I used to be a lounge singer Easy, the place I sang at though burnt down part way through my first performance! I was surprised to pull that Conan out of a box after you mentioned about the assistant editor month at Marvel the other week, so I couldn't really let that one go.

There's 1 issue of Batman family that might be a little costly but all the rest should be straight forward to pick up Razor, plus they're full of reprints as well.

All great comics mate, though I am not in Sheffield so I'm not sure this video is meant for me!! Love the old DC and you got a great range of genres there and comic companies, even a Marvel! I do collect Marvel too but if asked DC is my main love. You got some lovely horror books there and them treasuries are sweet. I have London comic mart on Sunday so I expect I'll have a few new books to show of soon on my channel. Just wanna add that your presentation is fun and interesting.

We at the Comic Book Collectors of Sheffield are more than happy to welcome comic book collectors from other towns and cities. I pick the odd bit of Marvel up here and there, I'm not entirely against them as a company! I think DC really went to town on the Bronze age horror stuff and I look forward to seeing what you pick up from the comic mart Greyman.
