A narcissist hate and are very intimidated by empaths. An empath can see right through a narcissist's act. An empath, without even trying, shows the narcissist everything they aren't/lack. An empath attracts narcissist's like a moth to a flame. I've found the most effective way to deal with a narcissist is to go full door slam.

I said this to myself & then to some mutual fam thinking it was hyperbole, but hyperbole that sums up an issue, y’know ? It was a new-to me-observation but, I found my guitar broken the next day. My pwNPD had been absurdly set off by me peacefully figuring out songs on that guitar. She’d kept interrupting me every 4 minutes. I hadn’t lost my cool or even said anything: I was just enjoying my guitar. “Golly, it’s almost as if me having peace & calm offends her,” I though to myself. Next day, I come home to a broken guitar.

Just attacked by my older narc sister. Last week she gave me 30 days to move out. I am a 70 year old Great-Grandmother, no car, poor health. She timed that just right.
She can be violent, and I threatened to call the police on her if she didn't get away from me. She flew into a rage! I got my door closed and locked, while that buffalo beat on it. I told she'll have to pay for her door if she breaks it. She went away to the kitchen. Lol
I may have a room, after I put in a prayer request at a church I love in the next town. It will be ok. Pray for me. 🙏🙏🙏✝️✝️✝️💜

HotSeat17 when your sister gets violent go to your room, close your bedroom door and call the police and don't tell your sister what you are doing because your sister will try to kill you if she finds out that you called the police to arrest and charge your sister for what your sister has done unto you so be also aware that Luke 21 says:
21 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
      25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
      29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
      Luke 21
HotSeat17 your older sister shows that she is just like Judas Iscariot who betrayed Christ Jesus the only begotten Son of God for 30 pieces of silver.
HotSeat17 be aware that Narcissist hate it when you expose them, their hypocrisy and lies.
Fear not HotSeat17 because the living God, the Lord God of Israel shall rise up to your defense and deliver you from your older sister that persecutes you.

I graduated college with full scholarship with perfect grades and my mother said “your college inferior and weak”. My vacations were “wrong”, my dates were “wrong”, my hobbies were “stupid”.
I am a doctor but somehow my parents always have to say how dumb I am.
Last straw for me was when parents said after my husband cheated and left me “you see? No one would ever love you!” Later they said “no one wants a sick wife” ( a have an autoimmune condition, but never missed a day of work, and work out daily). Later when my mother decided to play “silent games”, my dad would write me that “you mom is in the hospital, you should call her” and that was lie, she stayed in the hospital one night to get a shot. She left the next day and for the rest of the week he was telling me that she is “very sick in the hospital”. From friends and other family I found out she is home and fine. That was a moment I decided to go no contact. Enough was enough.

Thank you Lord that I did get full physical custody of my son. But came at a price of severe depression as the courts left me with nothing. He stole the business and never had to give me a dime. Not sure why the courts allowed that when I had full custody. I've been so lost for so long. I'm finally renewed in Christ. I've been a follower of Christ all my life. One downfall was I was never taught to put myself first but to put others first. Women need to be taught in Church boundaries.

I’m currently in a 17 year marriage and my wife is a Narcissist. I had no idea what this word even meant, but his first video was a slap in the face that woke me up to my wife’s behavior. The name calling, the complaining, the verbal attacks and total disrespect made me feel alone and that the problem was with me. I would start questioning who I was, how I was raised, that my values were out dated. This video has been a blessing. I now understand what exactly I was up against. -Steve, Ohio

I needed to hear this❤ thank you. I am naturally joyful. I’m considered a highly sensitive person as well. But I’ve been married to a narcissist for nine years. I have always been an independent person, taking care of myself and my family and spreading love understanding, and joy all around me. The last nine years have been hell. narcissists are abusers at heart. They don’t need to beat you, but they work very hard at cutting you down taking away your joy, making you feel small, making you feel unsafe and worthless. I wouldn’t give in now he has walked out. I am having to rebuild from nothing. In my 60s… I am the phoenix and I will rise!!!

It was his problem (and perhaps his wife's problem) that he wasn't willing to take care of you. If he flew into a rage, there's something going on with him, that is NOT your fault. He (and his wife) have issues that prevented them from embracing and caring for you, that is there problem, not yours. If he is mean to you, flew in a rage, then he is probably mean to others in his family, and you are best not being raising in his home. It's been quite a while since I posted this on here. I have to say that things have changed drastically between my mom and I since early last year...I went to see her with my husband and could see that she'd declined in her ability to manage living alone. I felt so much compassion for her, that I let all of my anger go towards her, and we began a healing journey that only could've happened because of God! Mom also had been suffering from pain and not feeling well for quite a while. Though my sister never stopped caring fory mom despite how difficult it could be for her at times, she'd tried to get both my brother and I, who'd gone no contact for over a year to reconcile with mom because she didn't want us to feel guilty if something happened to her while we were still angry. So we all took a vacation to Florida to try to work out some of our feelings about it, because for a long time, I was angry at my sister for expecting me to do that with mom being the way she could be. We had spoken to mom while in Florida for a few days and she was very ill. Once we got home, I went straight to her place and she was not eating, or taking her meds because she couldn't remember to. Long story short, she ended up in the hospital with sepsis from two kidney stones! She was very weak and ended up staying in the nursing home that she had to rehab in from the infection. Since her dementia had progressed, she was evaluated and found to not be fit to live alone. She fought that tooth and nail and didn't even remember being sick for a while. But her memories of that did come back to her, and though she hated it, she realized she needed to accept it. My siblings and I never wavered in being there with her as much as we could, though my brother lives 8-9 hours away. We all realized we had to take over her finances and clean out her home, which she was renting. That was tough because we knew how independent she'd been all her life. Then, in November of last year, she had a stroke while there and she's been wheelchair bound ever since. But to this day, my sister and I try to go once a week or sometimes a couple of weeks to go see her. Now that she's properly medicated, our relationship has healed! I just want everyone here to know that love really does conquer all and with God's help, healing- even miraculous healing can and does occur!! I give God ALL of the glory for that too! I know her days are numbered, but she still knows who we are and though she requires 24-hour care, she appreciates and cherishes our visits! So, despite all of the horrible things sh said and did over the years, our relationships with our mom has healed! My brother and I have learned so much about unconditional love and it's healing power! Stay strong everyone, and let our Lord lead your steps in your journeys with your mom's! Love & prayers for ALL of you! ❤️

So many times I let my wall down and let him know my hurts in life and he would always find a time to throw those hurts back in my face like it was always my fault, he twisted my hurts around and said it was always my fault. I believe our past wasn’t a prison sentence, but a lesson learned. It’s been 3 months Final no contact, I’m healing and Always keeping the Faith , believing better days to come! Stay strong:)

My narc boyfriend was freaking out this morning like he usually does at some point in the day. Throwing my things and destroying my property so I went into the bathroom to hide like I always do. While I was in there I realized we needed more toilet paper so I saw it as a way to get out. I told him I was going to the store to get more. Luckily I was able to get out the door safely but the neighbors were concerned and asked if I was okay once I was outside. They can all hear him yell because we live in a duplex. Once I got to the store he called me. I picked up and said hello and asked if there was something he needed. He said " you know what I think it is, I think I hate you. I hate everything about you." And I did everything I could to hold back my tears in Walgreens. I quickly grabbed my items and checked out. Once I got in my car I knew it was okay to cry so I prepared myself and gathered all the spare fastfood napkins I could find to wipe my face but nothing came out. I couldn't cry. My throat hurt, it had that big lump in it like I was going to break down... But nothing... I've never felt everything and nothing all at the same time. It's a horrible feeling or lack of. Pray for me.

defended himself. I said I understood and went upstairs. He finished the call with coworker, then came upstairs to rage against the machine that is me...I ended up crying in my car because I know he is a true narcissist. This was really different! This is what I needed to hear. So much of what's out there talk so much about the narcissist and focuses on them, which they love, and when people talk about the kinds of people who end up interacting with narcissists they usually talk about what that person needs to do different or better. As I look back over my past I realize the reason that certain people hated me so much, tried to control me at all costs, was because I have a very strong inner light. Thank you. 🙏

Yea he made fun of my looks even though he was way below me on that scale if we were to be honest. He made fun of my weight and clothes even though I was in good health and weight and dressed better than him. I helped him dress better and worried about his weight gain. He always tried to control me and tried to make me do what he wanted. He yelled at me a few times. He had a calm collected voice but he would get so angry and emotional. He laughed at me on our last day together bc there was no going forward and I saw and felt it. He was not fun. I brought that. He made me feel like I brought nothing to the table... but truth is I brought everything and he was always jealous how easy it was for me to be happy, myself and enjoy life. I didn’t need to create something to feel like he did.

This is so very true. Narcissists are master manipulators and like to control everything, so when you don't allow them to it infuriates them. As a christian I feel as though what I"m stepping into is not as important as who I'm stepping WITH. I am currently in a situation where I had to move with a friend, I knew they were needy but when I moved in and the attacks started I quickly realized who I was dealing with. It's almost a daily thing where they're critical or trying to make me uncomfortable all because I won't do what they want me to do. Mind you I work, come home, mind my business-- but everything I do is under scrutiny. If it wasn't so pathetic it would be funny, if I get a call I can hear them walk back towards my room to eavesdrop if I go outside to talk on the phone they'll sit by the door, they leave the kitchen a mess. The issue I have is why do you expect me to be ok with something you wouldn't be ok with -- but that's your typical narcissist. I stay in prayer and ask God to put a protective hedge around me because make no mistake about it, narcissists have a demonic spirit.

At the age of 52 and being the scapegoat of the four children, and having a psychotically insane sick in the head, narcissistic, jealous mother, I can honestly say as harsh as this sounds I don’t really have any good feelings toward my mother and it’s taken me to the age of 52 years to learn to just walk away from her nonsense and her bullying and her disgusting despicable way she speaks to me about me and the things she has convinced other people to believe about me that are not true.
She actually slept with my husband. I divorced him. I always felt guilty that because she was older and had health problems it was my responsibility to take care of her. I guess that was left over from being the scapegoat.
Out of all the videos, I have watched you have given me more courage and hope than any other videos or information I’ve ran across on YT.
I married and divorced a narcissist, my so-called best friend was a narcissist.
Unfortunately, by the time I realized I’m an empath and what that means I had already been abused by a lot of people.
With all of that said, I have a good sense of humor, and I make people laugh and I’m kind hearted. I am happy to be an empath. I’ll go out of my way to help people, but I’ve finally wised up and I stay away from people who mistreat me because I don’t deserve that kind of life.
I just wish I would’ve learned much earlier in my life that not all people are going to change, or are capable of changing.
I always gave people the benefit of the doubt.
All that said, I know what I am, and I know what I’m not. I’m very comfortable being who I am but most of all I have learned that I don’t have to allow other people to mistreat me.
After watching some of your videos for the first time in my life, I have actually felt very optimistic about how to deal with narcissistic people that run across my path. Just hearing the way you speak about the narcissist has already empowered me. I have always been afraid of them and tiptoed around them but I’m already starting to feel some courage and I realize that I don’t have to put up with their BS!
I like your attitude, and it is already rubbing off on me!!😂💕
