I have HP ‎Notebook - 15-bs145tu model and the display cracked 2 years back, using external monitor..The recent windows update causes malfunction, resulting in 'Black Screen Error' and …I tried multiple option to project the bios/boot time screen to the external monitor for troubleshooting, all all of them failed… Finally, following your video, I have disconnected the display cable and now the BIOS setting is projected to my external monitor, enables me to fix OS & avoided replacing the display :)

I have the hp15-bs234wm. There a second wire, very thin. One end is a tiny metal dot that snaps into a socket and I don't know where to snap it too. Plz help

Do you have a video on how to replace or repair detached hinges of a 15-BS015DX HP Notebook? All the screw anchors broke off and I'm trying to glue it back together, but I'm having problem on rerouting the wiring because they are run through the hinge cover. I'm lost. Thanks!

Not true . I have a bs244 touch screen and the screen cable is NOT in the same area as what you show . It actually runs through the broken hinge . Which is what I need to fix is the hinges but can’t because I’m afraid of tearing the wires
