- Here you will see how to repair and rectify the faulty display cable problem of the Lenovo laptop. Model is 320S-14IKB (Type 81BN) Ideapad. For a while, the display was intermittent and vertical lines also were there. Finally, I found that it was caused by the display cable. I bought a compatible display cable online and successfully installed it. Now it is working fine.

Thank you sooooo much bro .from 3 months I was facing the same problem in my Lenovo IdeaPad I took my laptop to Lenovo authorised service centre also and many more local services center and they also could not recognised the problem finally with comming in aggression mood seen your video and just took the laptop to a very local services center near my Village and there was not available new display cable but he cleaned the cable and connected properly and now everything is very fine . I have also decided to keep it like demo set and purchase new laptop but u helped me a lot thank you soooo much bro you saved my lot of money thank you

Thanks. Very useful but hard to watch when on enhanced playback speed. Next time try to slow down the video least on crucial parts like disconnecting or reconnecting the connectors. This is important to get it right for a person watching and wants to do a DIY repair.

In about 4 minutes in this video when you open the tape for the connected part the part was half loose, not totally pressed in. Was your cable bad or just not connected properly?

Hi i have a question and i really need help, i have a laptop which uses 1366x768 bracketless screen with 40pin connector, but i dont have a screen to replace the broken one, so i was thinking if i can change the display cable(take it out from another laptop with 30pin display cable and fit it into the laptop which needs 40 pin screen, will it work? If i swap the display cable to 30pin and then install a 1366x 768 30pin screen?
