  • We camped in Ben Bullen and woke up to a very wet campsite! It rained all night. The tracks were full of puddles which made for some great slo-mo footage along the way through Ben Bullen and over to Lithgow. The lookouts in Ben Bullen were amazing with low hanging cloud all around. We made a quick stop at the Blackfellows Hand Cave before heading over to the Lithgow Powerlines.

Only just discovered you guys, really enjoying the videos, a great mix of 4wdriving/camping and humour.
Reminds me of our crew i guess, love having a laugh, taking the piss and stitching up a mate whenever the opportunity arises.

I'm still finding mud in my rear bar from that bog hole at the 10:18 mark. I drove it in June and it was drier, but short, deep and sticky. The perfect length to pretty much have your front and rear wheels at each end of the hole. Gunning it to get out off the glue I dragged the rear bar and absolutely filled any of its cavities with mud. the step down just before that mud hole has deteriorated a lot too. The rock wasn't exposed when I drove up it.

Gotta love finding the remnants months later! Its always fun at the time. Our engine bays were covered in the left overs of the yellow water too!

As far as I know, the giant rock slab was removed to allow fire appliances easier access to the area in instanced of bushfire.
