Great video . I’ve done that track twice the first time about a year ago and it was the same , then I did it about 4 months ago and you could now do it in a comadore , it’s been severely graded out I think due to the bush fires . And sadly the bush was just black sticks for as far as the eye could see .
Think I left comment on wrong part of the series but That lookout at top of Bicentennial trail is awesome. Made it up there in my old Nissan X-Trail. Definitely didn't and wouldn't tackle those hectic step sections you did though. There's another trail in that joins up with the main track
Hi Tyler just started watching your vids on here and the first one was this baal bone track, me the misses and the kids done this track over 10 years ago it was a little rough then but I think we need to do it again. Great video.
One question - did you go into the Baal Bone Gap track from Wolgan Road or from the Gardens If Stone End near the railway because I’m confused..... We’ve been down this track a few times and I remembered going down the section you came up ( where you said the left side of the sandstone ascent was easier than the right side you tried ) and then going down the section where you ride the brake and clutch saying it’s the steepest descent you’ve been down in a 4x4 and it was continuing the one direction through from Wolfgang Road out to the gardens of stone. The spot you camped is a good one before Newnes there, we’ve stopped here heaps on our day drives out there. Beautiful spot eh !
Steve Evans thatas what I thought but when we have done it that way we went down that big section he came up and then pretty much downhill all the way out to Gardens Of Stone....he seems to go down and up the same way along the track, like he did a u-turn half way along......maybe I just remember doing it differently We went in from Gardens Of Stone one time and climbed up steep descents all the way through.
Hey mate, yep we went in at the Wolgan road end and then just followed the track all the way through other then the quick detour to the lookout spot :)
Tyler Thompson no worries mate, yeah I just remembered it differently thinking when you go in on wolgan road it was pretty much all downhill the whole way.....all good champ 👍🏻
Thanks mate, was a little scary haha. Yeah seems to be a pretty good 4wd so far, except it did blow the front diff the other day haha which isn't good, but thinking it was just an unlucky weakness on his. Other then that been a great 4wd
Hey Tyler has your old man checked his front passenger side inner guard area just above where the compliance plate is for cracks? it seems to be an issues emerging on many MUX's.
Hey mate, nope he hasn't checked, first I've heard of it. I just checked with my friend who works at an Isuzu dealership and she said they've only seen the problem on forestry DMAX's because they are so rough on them. But ill still let him know to have a look incase! Cheers mate
I know of a few now. Found one on mine on the weekend and it hasn't been on anything crazy. couple beach runs and thats about it. Dealership is looking at it soon. its only 2 years old with 60k on it and 90% road use.
Sorry bud but i have to tell everyone that im first in the comment section lol. Its just what people do because it makes them feel special 😂😂😂 Ps awesome video as usual.
We can’t do that anymore the fuckers graded the whole track jack hammered the rock so they can Make a tracks next to it now it’s all fucked u can try from the side where the new graded track is but u will end up on ur lid fuckin hell I’m pissed
Awesome. Been there many times, its hard to capture how steep it is. Worth it though, beautiful part of the world.
Awesome views, technical tracks, great camping spot, lov it again 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Top video again mate. Got my mates at work watching your videos now. They love it.
Legend! Thanks mate :)

One of your best to date. Man... that rock decent had me on the edge of my seat!
Thanks mate! Had me on the edge of my seat driving down haha
Think I left comment on wrong part of the series but That lookout at top of Bicentennial trail is awesome.
Made it up there in my old Nissan X-Trail.

Great video - enjoy them all. When your dad came down the really step rock ledge - did he use descent control? Hope that's not a stupid question.

Thanks mate, I've had a fair bit of practice now, also a couple of crashes haha
This is a great spot for 4wd and sight seeing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks mate, beautiful area
Another great video mate.
Thanks mate
It's also a lot of fun going up that last steep decent.
Might have to try it next time, not sure if I'd make it but haha
I did it in the Lux. And I've seen a Rav 4 get up it.
Stock standard Rav 4 by the way.
Stumbled across this video somehow. You're missus cheated on you and you're an absolute king of a father.
Love that track.
Awesome video, bro, been hanging out for ya next adventure,
Thanks mate!

4 Wheeling In NSW He’s gone in at the Wolgan road end.

Yeah that first steep part is at the Wolgan Rd end. I think you’re thinking that it’s that big step up closer to the gardens end which he went down.
Hey mate, yep we went in at the Wolgan road end and then just followed the track all the way through other then the quick detour to the lookout spot :)
Tyler Thompson no worries mate, yeah I just remembered it differently thinking when you go in on wolgan road it was pretty much all downhill the whole way.....all good champ 👍🏻
nice, bit of a scary downhill though well driven. How do you and your dad rate the MUX as a 4wd Tyler
Thanks mate, was a little scary haha. Yeah seems to be a pretty good 4wd so far, except it did blow the front diff the other day haha which isn't good, but thinking it was just an unlucky weakness on his. Other then that been a great 4wd

Check out the Club MUX facebook group, I just started a discussion on it.
Yeah okay sounds like a bit of an issue mate, I'll have a look with dad when we get a chance
Well done, My tucker shoot was kissing my undies watching the big wet rock step. Nice work everyone...
Haha! Was a little scary sitting in the car, big rock ledge that one
That rock ledge actually looked a lot easier on video than it is in real life. It's a pretty scary drop when you are there.
Yep it definitely was a scary moment haha, particularly because it was wet. You can never see how steep things really are on the camera
Great job again Tyler. Your film work is fantastic. Really enjoying your videos. Also getting a backlog of trips to do! Thanks. PP
Cheers mate, thanks for watching :) So many good places to explore!
That last steep section was slippery enough on a dirtbike!
Yep it was a scary moment in the 4wd haha
How do you go on all these trips dont you work ? Lol
Haha yeah still work mate. I'm a casual school teacher so get schools holidays off then just try and do 2-3 weekends away in between :)
What subject do you teach?
Im a PDHPE teacher but being casual whatever they give me, bit of everything haha
Brilliant Chuck Norris would have turned around and put his Jim jams on great stuff safe travels
Haha cheers mate, thanks for watching :)
