I truly enjoyed this episode. I prefer watching these type videos with 'close to showroom standard' 4WDs doing tracks than off those monster trucks picking tough lines on tracks. Gives us a sample of real perspective what those tracks are like for our not-so-modified trucks. I'd like to see more of these types of episodes.
I've always loved going camping. Got my first 4wd 7 years ago and it was the best decision of my life. Getting a 4wd and getting out camping when ever i can really did change my life for the better.
Thanks mate, I really enjoyed this video, good to see the Amaroks being taken out and about, just moved down this way from Queensland and have been wondering where to adventure and take the family. Cheers for your help.
Lithgow isn’t part of Sydney and thankgod for that! Why say these places are in the Sydney area when not.. we get enough idiots from Sydney with their 4wds coming up here and trashing Newnes Plateau etc thinking they own it and leaving there rubbish etc behind for us to clean up, we don’t need anymore coming up and trashing these places in our beautiful area. not saying all do it but when you see it first hand what they do,well us locals have had enough. And yes I have a 4wd and have been going to these places for years like a lot us local we respect these places and don’t leave our rubbish etc behind.😠
Hey Pat. Did you engage off-road mode and disengage traction control? I find in soft sand manually shifting the auto with off-road disengaged and traction control off works best as it allows me to keep the V6 revs up without off-road traction control getting in the way.
The trouble is according to the "aftermarket" world- your 4WD is just a vehicle only fit for 'burb' duties and showing off because anything beyond the 'burbs you need to spend another $45000 in after market accessories. No wonder people just stay around the trails and towns. BTW those Clearview mirrors might be useful for the driver but I think they are downright dangerous sticking out that far widening the vehicle and on a narrow road could cause headache for an oncoming vehicle.
Nice one Patski. Wes was good to watch on the trip too.

Looks like Wes lives in glenmore park?

Hey what's the story with the driving light flashing left and right when driving though the river
They're supposed make you see better where you're turning right or left. It's called a Cornering function.
sadly the track is more like a road now, Bit of a shame really since the fires
Great spots, though deffinetly not a part of Sydney, may be better to use accurate titles in your vids.
Sydney ??? Think his been checking his crops..
