What’s the point of going away? you’re bringing your home with you. A good 4wd trip in my opinion is swags set up around a campfire and fold out chairs enjoy a few beverages with your mates but hey if it makes you sleep at night why not. The point is that you don’t have to spent fancy money on a fancy car to get you to the bush and back.
Completely agree that this project is massively unnecessary and incredibly fun at the same time. This wasn't me telling everyone that they should want to do this, it was more of an experiment to try and build something resembling 'my' Ultimate 4X4. I want..... no, I NEED a keg setup in my canopy now. Guess the dogs are getting kicked out of the dog box!
Looks good as a show vehicle, waste of money to use it as 4x4. Wondering where will camping gear will fit.
And as someone who is just as happy to roll out a swag out the back of my stock 1975 G60, it's nice to have both extremes. It's kind of like going to your favourite greasy burger joint one week, and going to a 5 star restaurant the next.
Yeah but you're jealous of the beer bar.
Pat Callinan's 4X4 Adventures i understand this wasn’t meant to backlash anyone here i was just presenting my opinion on the matter haha, you’ve got your self an extreme road rig however anyone could do the same with a 2nd hand car
Hatuey McFarland that beer bar is a mint idea
