I thought I knew the answer but this video put an interesting twist to it. Personally, I would argue Vic is the 4wd hotspot and WA the Touring hotspot. But I will admit I haven't spent as much time out there as yourself. Good video buddy.
Not sure what map you are looking mate at But most of the Simpson Desert is in South Australia and some in QLD For someone who has done 20 years of 4wd TV you should know that by now. So going by your voting Sa should be a 9 out of 10

The tele track is easy in the late dry But in the early dry its very hard. I just think u under rated it a bit low myself. But great video to get other peoples option on placers
You forgot the cattle stock route in the north and the Holland track to the south of Western Australia. The (CSR) is bloody difficult just because of the complete isolation for 20 days approx.
oh man, it was a general overview, so many awesome tracks and destinations in every state but we only had a few minutes for each location. We wish we could have shown a lot more like you suggested!

Ahh the irony! This bloke complains about tracks getting closed, yet he is a big part of the problem. This video is even full of wheel spinning, rock chucking action. OK in private parks but I bet some of the clips are from public land. How about you put some text on the screen noting that this sort of hectic driving is taking place on private property before you upload your content? Reasons tracks are getting closed: (1) 5 tonne Ivecos driving on tracks that are easily damaged (2) Caravans and camper trailers being taken places they shouldn't (3) Mates "challenging" each other and trying to go further than the other bloke, which leads to them attacking obstacles with too much speed and jandal. (4) Influencers making hectic click bait content for social media "Look we got massively bogged/ nearly rolled it / broke shit / took our camper trailer up this insane track" etc..Unfortunately influencers not only do stupid shit themselves, they normalize it and therefore ...influence others to do the same. The fact that Simon mentions police hot spots to avoid means is suspicious and not a great example to be setting. (5) People with all the gear and no idea, except for the ideas they get from influencers. I'm not saying you can't own an Iveco/F Truck/caravan, but there are definitely some tracks where you shouldn't even attempt to take those things. Tracks that can be easily damaged should have a 3.5 tonne GVM limit (manufacturer listed or mod plate) and no trailers, enforceable with hefty fines. Don't like that? How will you like it when all the good public land tracks are closed to all motor vehicles, forever? The fact that we are in this position means the Australian National Four Wheel Drive Council and the Australian Four Wheel Drive Industry Council have failed to educate, communicate and act in the interests of the 4wd community. Simon, if you care about this issue you'll do something positive, and won't have this comment removed.
@@maxmoore481 it's disgusting - the agenda is to have 30% of Australia as national park or native title by 2030. We are supporting some pages with the fight so please get onto our Facebook mate. We need all the petitions signed and more support!
