The gates were put there years ago to stop the track getting wrecked. Blue Mountains 4wd club did maintenance on it and had the keys. If you were in a club , you could get the key off them. Too many times the gates were vandalised , they gave up fixing them , and left them open.
Tyler mate love what you film & do. I’m not a 4WD driver, but enjoy watching your gutsy trips. This one was particularly wowwee. I can’t believe what you & your Dad negotiate without needing to call on winches. That cave system was amazing, & glad you shared this as would be only time I get to see it. Take care out there, & please keep the cameras running. Cheers from STH of Brizzy.
think time away 4x4ing with family or by ur self without any social media concerns is a great reset for the up n coming adventures. no different from any other work commitments people have. time off or holidays is a great reset for all. great trip Tyler.
Hi Tyler - great video! When you're on steep angles, for your seat belt simply put a wooden clothes peg on the strap near the pillar, before you take it off. That stops the seat belt retracting and locking. Make sure it's a wooden peg because I've found plastic pegs slip thus don't work.
It was good to see your partner coming along with you on this trip Tyler mate, she was having a blast and your i have more talent than dad comment was just so funny 👍😂👍
Awesome third episode on this lot mate. Big calls there on the talent lol. I think we need an episode where you and your dad swap cars and take on some tough tracks! 😀
Unlike the charities that pinched all the donation money. One of my brothers lost his shed, tractor, a couple of 4x4’s, boat/trailer/outboard, machinery, etc. Hasn’t seen a cent from charities. His insurance covered enough for a fence!
Hey mate just want to say that your videos have huge amount of replay ability as you don't gate keep the cool spots you go to. I originally started watching your vids a few years back when trying to plan my blue mountains trip and it helped tremendously. Perhaps i could suggest you link each part in the description like the blue mountain ones.. When i go back to the older series its a little hard to find the next part without digging through the channel, and not all of them have a playlist. This is an even bigger ask but perhaps your descriptions could include detailed description of video content such as which spots you went to, camped at and roughly what time of the year you went, all crucial info when planning a trip. I've found heaps of channels because of stuff like that. Perhaps this could be an extra feature to benefit patreon members.
Put your seatbelt on, attach a fold back (bulldog) clip in front of the opening where the seatbelt retracts, as you leave the bitumen. It stops that problem.
Great video as always mate, that river walk looks amazing ps Demi's a keeper you seem so much happier, keep up the great work big fella, livin the dream
Great video mate, its funny how many people go the lost city but not down any of those other tracks to see it from the other side. There are so many tracks up there to explore. Can’t believe you swam in that water i know how cold that it 😳🥶. Cheers mate
Hidden secrets of Lithgow would be the excellent take away shop on corner, maybe blast furnace park. How is Newnes, gardens of stone etc Lithgow? Why not call it hidden secrets at Clarence...
Thanks for doing this area mate, I’ve been keen to get friends to come Along but we usually head out to Mudgee and hill end, hopefully now they can trust my judgment haha. Looking forward to slightly more details on some Tracks you do also.
This is some excellent “must see” 4WDing. You kill me Tyler! It would be great for a novice like me if you could quickly say what gear you are in when tackling some of those hills.
how long till cape york stuff will be out? and as always great video! just when you think you’ve seen all of lithgow! i know where ill be going next time I’m there 👍🏽
4WD action did this years ago and a lot of places became over ran with idiots leaving rubbish and destroying tracks. I’d rather they stay hidden and put the time in to find them myself
Maaate now sporting a beard since I saw one of your vids..now I know you're a serious 4wheel driver!! And no stupid useless 10gallon hat's like the other morons doing other 4B videos feel they have to wear...I've subbed.🙏
Those caves………wow !!!!!!!

The bush is taking a while to recover from the fires. Great photo's Malakai, 👍🏻.

Amazing place and vid.😃👍

Awesome work. Any concerns with the Bushmans fridge on steep inclines? or were these under 30 degrees.
Ive never had any issues with it mate and had it on plenty of steep hills
@@TylerThompson90 You'd definitely give it more of a workout than I ever would, so that's very reassuring. Time to go shopping...
@ 11:14 Is that Demi's wading bird hunting pose? 😄
Haha maybe 😁
Japanese bath house at Lithgow do the waters help with arthritis?
Wild country
What's the long travel kit you mentioned? Is that a new mod?
Yep its from platinum mechanical and suspension, ill do a video on it soon
Always wondered what axle hill was like. No one must drive it much.
Nope seems fairly unused
Top stuff buddy 🔝🔝🔝🔝lost city so cool
Thanks mate
pissed myself laughing at 20.22 🤣
What kind of whinch are you running? Love the videos mate
Thanks mate, Ironman 9500 pound
A track named after a car part would make me very nervous
What suspension are you running front and rear? How much lift.
Also what tire and rim size?
What was the new suspension Tyler? mustve missed that bit?
Its a long travel kit in the rear from platinum mechanical and suspension 👌
thanks
Sweden: WW Amarok, we need it for hard terrain. Australia: Hold my kangaroo
What did you get done to the suspension
I just released a video about the suspension yesterday mate
@@TylerThompson90 yeah loved it 🤙🏻
Would be awesome if you provided GPS cords for each hidden gem you find
4WD action did this years ago and a lot of places became over ran with idiots leaving rubbish and destroying tracks. I’d rather they stay hidden and put the time in to find them myself
@@grantdoughty9657 Yea makes sense. Explains the clean up the bush campaign they had, must of felt somewhat guilty .
Get the Isuzu rear metal bumper.
how did you escape the sydney lockdown?.
These are filmed 6-8 weeks before they are posted
Should try it in a 10 tone fire truck that's when you know your having fun. This is my back yard
Do you get much damage to your cars while doing these tracks?
No damage on this trip mate, never really break much out on the tracks, just wear things out quicker over time
👍✌

At the end when driving home where did your girlfriend disappear too ? Only you and your son in the car
She meet us there for that trip a day later so had her car back in Lithgow, dropped her off and went back separately
@@TylerThompson90 making sure you didn't forget about her and the poor girl wasn't still walking back lol
I thought she might have been asleep in the back lol 😊
