Excellent presentation thank you for sharing your wonderful knowledge with us and thank you for not using sugar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had to add flour and ended up only using one and a half cups of water. Waiting two hours before I make dough balls, roll out and cook on saj. My grandmother and mother made unleavened Arabic bread all the time. Delicious. This is my first time since I just purchased a saj.
It's amazing how many versions of a tortilla there are around the world.
They are different products this isnt even a traditional tortilla, the original ones are done using maize or corn, not the regular all purpose flour
Totally agree I love all the things that can be made with flour snd water..from pitta bread to kebab wraps to naan to that Indian flat bread to tortilla to pasta ..its lovely how each is subtly different. The way what has travelled around the world and inspired people.
MashaAllah

Nice recipe
Please double check the measurements as it isnt quiet correct. Figured that out while making it today
Thank you so much for watching our video and trying out the recipe.
Sometimes the measurements vary based on the cup size. Where as adding water as per the needed texture can always be adjusted. It takes a few takes to perfect the recipe, the required texture and outcome. Check out our other videos as well, we are sure you're going to love them all !!
Thanks

Hello, thank you for the recipe!
Does the dough have to rest at room temperature or cold?
Yes on room temperature
If you refrigerate the dough overnight would that affect how the wraps turn out
Should water be hot or boiling?
Room temperature
Did you used yeast?
👍💕
And its Vegan
Tawa is the good method , much lighter breads , for lavash , Naan chapati and yufka
Can I ask where did you buy that accessory for the electric stove? Is it stone?
This is induction heating electric stove. And this accessory we used is a flat pan which is compatible with induction stove. It is metallic, not stone. Thanks for asking 🙂
@@sporkandknife Thankyou.
2 cups water is too much i had to add 2 extra cups of flour for it now
Oh, it depends on cups as well. But now you can freeze them in a plastic bag after making this bread and use it when ever you want it.
@@sporkandknife oh really?? Thanks!
If you feel that you've made the dough more than you wanted to, you can make the "roti" as shown in video, and freeze it even for a month! :)
@@saamiyaa5214 Try our instant Chapati recipe i am sure you will like it 😊
I just made this dough trying to use exact measurements. It was like a thick batter. I ended up having to add between 2 1/2 to 3 cups more flour. I have it resting now. I am not confident that this will come out good in the end. 😥
Which kind of oil?
Vegetable oil
How did the gough rise without yeast ???!!!!!
Something is not right
Shawarma bread is Pita bread which cannot be made without adding YEAST.
Shawarma all around the world, especially in the Middle East and Turkey, is NOT always made from pita bread. Khubz saaj, lavash, and yufka breads are famously used to make shawarma. Look up for some food vlogs and you will get more knowledge about shawarma. We are born and raised in Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Arabia is known for some of the best shawarmas in the world.
@@sporkandknife Yes I live in Gulf as well and eaten Pita shawarma bread all my life, this is just plain chapati like in india.
Oh as well baking soda is used if not using Yeast at all but majorly yeast is a main ingredient.
Its is just simple chappati you have to add yeast
you did not actually cutting it in equal portions when said cut it in equal portions...
Sorry for not being symmetrically correct.
Perfect recipe join u.... BK Super Fast cooking
I thought so there is something wrong with yr recipe
That is mexican flour tortillas
Hi ask lang po wala po talagang baking powder?
Only Salt no baking powder.
Very nice. I just saw that you have 1.23k subscribers. How do you get so many views. Please share your secret as well.
75% of my viewers didn't subscribe me. 😕
Mine too...but I have almost 8.5k subscribers and I hardly get 4 to 5 hundred views. What should I do?
I tried the flat bread recipe and it was very wet, dripping wet, with 2 cups of water. I had to add 2 cups of flour to get close to your dough. Help!! What did I do wrong !!!
did you forget the oil, did you try it a second time and or did you let the batter/dough sit for two to three hours before trying to shape them?? plus cups may be a tool and not actually eight ounces by meaning here. Liquids are always added as the flour needs hydration, its based upon what you see and feel in the bowl.
Stop that music please!!!
You can mute it 😜
There is nothing turkish about this , every grandmother & her mother makes it in southeast asia .
My niggah that's a tortilla .
