I struggled with this particular topic in my Biochemistry class. You did an amazing job explaining what it is used for and why it matters. Thank you very much. The video was phenomenal
I JUST LOVE HOW YOU REALLY EXPLAIN IN SIMPLE TERMS FOR A STUDENT LIKE ME. THANK YOU
Good job, Kevin. Thanks!
honestly speaking sir... have watched 3*dozen of videos n this was my last one because this was the master piece of all... i am going to explain my Ramachandran plot of proteins in my thesis n i m going to use your words NOW...
I am also a youtuber (science for everyone) n will explain this lecture in my own language... great job...stay blessed... THANKS
Thanks a ton for explaining it so well. You made it easy for so many of us who struggled with this topic.
I loved it! Thank you!
bruhhh I go to UC Berkeley and u taught this so much better than my professor ! I finally understand Ramachandran plots! Thank you!!
That was amazing. Thank you!
The way you explain it is really simple and amaaaazing, Thanx alooooot
As a Biochemistry student, this helped so much!!!
Thanks lot KEVIN!😊
This 8 min video captured everything discussed in my 1 hr lecture.
That was so nicely explained 🤩thank you!!
Thank you very much Sir for this easy- to- understand explanation.. I think that finally, i have been able to get a clear picture and understanding of the Ramachandran's Plot.. Thank you very much for your efforts.
Thank you so much for this clear explanation, subscribed ✅
This is so helpful. Thank you very much.
What a legend ❤
THANK UUUUUUUUUUU I WAS NOT UNDERSTANDING BUT U ARE AMAAAAAZING
life saver thank you 🔥

I wish i could've invented a double thumbs up icon specially for your post.
simple and very useful
Thank you so much...
Thank u so much 🤩
You're very welcome!
the beginning scared me!
Nice content. I learnt quite a lot. Please can you make a video on finding Ramachandran plot on ISOLDE or CHIMERA? I have subscribed in anticipation. Thanks.
Sick intro.
this was so incredibly helpful, my lecturer explained this so badly it was so confusing
Oh, so it is this simple... yet my professor managed to waste over 30 minutes of my time in a lecture and another 30 minutes again during a practical without even explaining how to interpret these plots... and this vid did it within 10 minutes. You have to love the current state of our universities sometimes...
I have struggled with this for a long time, it's over!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello, are the amino acids (black dots) on the light blue shaded regions called outliers and are they generally ignored when making analysis? Thank you.
thanks, the textbooks were rubbish at explaining this.
V nice
thanks a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot
Hi, what should we do if the predicted structure for our protein designed is not favourable based in this Ramachandran plot?
In what situation would you be predicting secondary structure based off of the angles for each AA? How would you even obtain all the angles experimentally (I'm guessing Xtallography?)?
How are the Phi and Psi angles determined for each amino acid in the protein in order to plot?
I assume, that the chemical attributes are calculated
there are known values/angles for the different bonds - covalent bond, double bond, hydrogen bond... conformation of dipol and so on.
from which book did you get this plots? ty
