Just finished watching episode 1 and absolutely loved it. I was worried they were going to water it down but it reminds me so much of the movies and 90’s nostalgic feelings. I’m going to love it.
You have an eye for movies; Peacock is owned by the parent company of NBC Universal, Comcast, which films much of its content on the Universal Studios backlot in Los Angeles where the town square and iconic clocktower from Back to the Future are located, the Court House Square as it's known on the lot is a critical set for many films and TV shows including The Nutty Professor, Back to the Future(s), Gremlins, The Ghost Whisperer and of course Ted the TV show. You can visit the square on the studio tour if they're not filming. They'll decorate the courthouse to be schools, town/city halls/ courtrooms, depending on the needs of the studio.

Ted being on the roof reminded me when stewie refused to come down, and he said he was a roof baby now while smoking.
