Seth is the paragon of golden-age American comedy, all surgically performed through a masterclass of voice acting and singing. He represents what America used to look and *feel* like, for those of us old enough to remember such a cosmic shift in our "culture". Fearless, bold, brilliant. A true American icon.
Jesus Christ dude, I’m next. Clean off your knees. He has a golden voice and his comedies are fast and funny, poop and gag comedy galore. Hilarious in their own rights, ok, but spare us the nostalgic flashback of the good old days you are referring to - what the 90’s? 80’s? 70’s? 60’s? Every period had their “Golden Days,” and had their run. The consensus also had their run which was ‘yeah, it was hot and/or was funny for some, but it’s not what it used to be.’ What Seth IS is a product of the Frank Sinatra era, big band sing-songy era plus quick, witty, fart poop comedy writer with a great voice. It worked and took the culture by whirlwind as it should because it was effective and funny. But that’s not to say he is timeless and penultimate. Anyway. And don’t take it personal, I am in stitches with a lot of the work, just also plain-faced with as much of it. And don’t get me STARTED with Jimmy Fallon. What is this guys problem? Lol. Seriously. No flow obviously, and Mr. McFarlane just runs with it - because he as to obviously. He’s plays some lines and flaunts like a good old boy. Worth a third of a Billion. Iconoclast for sure. Credit. Seth that is. But relax a little… Jesus. Before I think you are AI.
This dude is one of the hardest working guys in Hollywood. He always has like 4 of 5 shows going on at the same time! Plus, all I see is Brian when Seth talks 😆😆
Seth had a plane ticket on one of the doomed 9/11 flights and he missed his flight by just one hour. He said he never missed a flight before. I think he was meant to miss that flight to bring us all laughter. Laughter is the best medicine. A laugh a day keeps the devil away. I’m glad you’re still here Seth. The world wouldn’t have been as funny not having him here.
He actually made a joke in the first Ted movie about him missing the flight. "Like s*** 9/11 I gotta get high." which is a reference to him drinking too much causing him to oversleep and miss the flight. Seriously though, it is crazy we could have lost him just like that. :(
I love how accurate he is with his characters. He can pull them off on the spot. 👏 I’ve seen others struggle to replicate it compared to their shows sometimes. Notice he kept drinking water, lubricating his vocals I reckon. He knew this was coming or he was just thirsty. 😅
It's truly remarkable that he began with the two characters that he claimed were difficult to do. His ability to do so demonstrates his exceptional skills and talent.
Love this guy. I love voice actors in general and it’s awesome that one of them has reached celebrity status. He was also amazing on Saturday Night Live.
Please, for the love of God, stop using this phrase. It's lost all of its meaning. Martin Luther King Jr. was a national treasure, Ray Charles was a national treasure. Seth made a cartoon which he ripped off of The Simpsons.
It’s the best, but I think it’s done. The ratings were never good enough to justify the time and money it cost to make. Might be for the best. Quality usually suffers the longer a show goes. The last episode felt like a nice finale anyway.
@@patrickthomas8890 the wedding was a nice end but there's plenty of unfinished storylines for books, audio dramas, or comics to cover. At least give us a book series.
@@sameaston9587 Don’t get me wrong, I’d love more but I highly doubt it’s happening (at least anytime soon)…so I’m trying to be positive. The actress who played Cmdr Grayson pointed out how hard it is to film as an actor. Only 36 episodes over 6 years, which isn’t enough work to pay the bills. Hopefully a movie at some point
The pitch probably went like - "So I do the squeaky voice for the dad, and the nasal one for the horny neighbor, and the posh british accent for the baby, and then there's the dog" - "oh, you'll do barks and stuff?" - "no, that's just my regular voice" - "Wat"
I love that Seth is accommodating and seemingly happy to say yes on every talk show to requests to “dance monkey” and it’s just so seamless and joyful. Amazing talent.
Seth rarely does any voices from American Dad (Roger doesn't count, really, because he does Paul Lynde a lot) when he's on camera. That was pretty cool.
Damn I thought Terry Strong had voices but Seth McFarland being able to instantly do these voices, and quick witted with the responses dude is a talented guy.
I hope he’s starting to work on the long awaited Family Guy movie. Seth, please be in charge on writing of the Family Guy movie. We miss your writing on the show, and would like to see it again.
I have seen Seth do the talk show circuit lately. I didn't know he was 50. Clearly after I was told I looked at him closer and said yes he is about 50. I still think of him low 30s when he started promoting Family Guy a long time ago. Anyway, he looks great. Seth is awesome.
I love Seth McFarlane and his tremendous creativity. His characters always got me in stitches!! Love the Orville and looking forward to more Seasons in the future and love the new series Ted! Brilliant!!❤

I said it once ,and I'll say it again... seth MacFarlane is a national treasure he is one of the most talented human being of our time.
Where did you say it once? I don't think you did.
I dont believe that you said it the first time
No
STOP SAYING IT PLEASE! WE CAN NOT TAKE YOU SAYING THIS AGAIN!!!!!
God not again
I always enjoy Seth doing his voices in talk shows and interviews
Me too so entertaining!
I do too, but I know he gets sick of it
Look up the clips of him on the Graham Norton show. He’s awesome. I think Tom Cruise is there too.
@@javier77th I remember that video I saw it couple years ago
He is impressive no doubt & has some great voice Range , Rogers a great one
Seth doing the voices for his characters New Year’s resolution was the best part of my year so far! That man is a genius
I could just literally listen to Seth talk all day. The man is my absolute favourite voice actor.
I especially like the part he called the left nazis for follwing hamas and lil jimmy had to interrupt hahahah

Indeed and it sure was a fast shift.
Yeah I was born in 1998 and Seth always was a comfort character, something of yesteryear and today - he’s still in touch because he is America .

Seth saved my life with his comedy. He's the only public figure I look up to.
Seth MacFarlane is a living legend. Talented in writing, voice acting, singing, and being so damn funny.
Seems like a chill guy to hang out with.
He stole most of it from The Simpsons. He's a good at copying, not creating.

I read about that it wasn’t his time yet apparently
Seth MacFarlane is such a gracious guest.
Lol the panic in Jimmy when Seth mentioned Nazi's. He rushed past that story quick haha
I noticed that. One of the reasons I can’t stand the guy. I mean come on. It’s true.
When he smiles, I smile. Infectious
