Dude, I have reviewed almost 70 bags and this is hands down my favorite of them all. It's so comfortable, so versatile, and so easy to use. I'm so in love with it and I'm glad you are too!
With a MacBook and iPad Pro in stow, I find the shoulder strap buckle awkward to use. When you unbuckle it, the weight shifts to your back. Perhaps it’s not intended to be used on a person at all, but to temporarily secure it to an open back chair or bench? I also found once I attached a carabiner ring to the small fabric loop at the end of the strap, it was much easier to loosen/tighten the shoulder strap by using both the D-ring and carabiner. Just don’t forget to slide the band all the way to the end of the strap to keep everything tidy.
I just bought this and tech sling 2 plus nomatic travel pack has been my perfect combo of travel as a tech nomad with 2 laptops and lot of tech gear. THANK YOU aaron & Nomads Nation.
and putting my macbook 14 in this over my backpack reduces my carry on (Nomatic) weight for international travel. And nobody checks the weight of tech sling cos they are like eh.. that's just for documents ;).
@@rramath Lol i feel like a dork sometimes cus you can always go bigger but I love having just the right amount for you carry so much tech day to day. Thanks man.

I can fit my m1 14 inch macbook from my 12 in samsung tablet, and my wife's macbook air, plus my passports and both laptops and the tablet all have covers. I can fit all of them in my Aer tech 2 sling. Here is my questions that no one can seem to answer and that AI can't seem to answer. Can I fit an M2 15 inch macbook air in this bag? Since there seems to be some space between the m1 14 and the pounch like a larger laptop might fit.
It’s light and super comfortable. I put in a 14 inch laptop with adaptor, low profile keyboard, webcam, zoom earphones(small cups on ear), a stand, 3 cables, iPhone fast charger, usb stick, 3 to 1 usb connector and you can still sneak in a tablet. It’s tight but it’s sleek and light and that strap is awesome. Pro tip- do not use a tech bag if you must use some mesh zipper bags. They are 10$ for 6 or something.
Thats good to hear! I've been eyeing this bag for quite a while. I have a 14 inch laptop as well and am just afraid mine not fit like the one in this video. Do you know the dimensions of your laptop for reference or at least the model of it? Would really appreciate it!
Fits a 14" Macbook Pro perfectly its not even tight imho. One of my favorites beneath the Alpaka Bravo Sling Max V2 in XPAC for normal Office days or travel when bringing a roller luggage anyways.
Since you like the Tech Sling so much, I was wondering why you haven’t posted any reviews on the Travel Sling 2. It’s similar but it has even more functionality as it can fit a MBP 16inch. What’s your opinion on it?

Another great review. Honestly, you've become my go to source for all things bags and carry related. Love the content and presentation and quickly subbed to the channel. Really love the look and vibe of the Aer Tech Sling 2. So much so, I've lost count of how many times I've watched this review and I'm as good as sold on picking up one. But I"ve got a few concerns about the size / capacity that"s got me hesitating. For context, I'm not at all a fan of traditional backpacks.....but could totally live with a sling for everyday carry, no problems there. Also, my edc is centred around the iPad and hence not a ton of stuff requiring a large bag. Thus, as compact and ideal as it looks, still I gotta ask, do you think this sling would nicely accommodate a 12.9-inch iPad Pro (with Apple magic keyboard), a bluetooth mouse, bluetooth trackpad, charger, portable ssds, a hub, a few cables, with a small notebook and maybe, just maybe a portable bluetooth keyboard (occasional swapped with a foldable iPad pro stand)? Do you reckon all these would fit in nicely and if so, do so without looking overpacked and stressed? Really would love to hear your take on this. PS: Also watched your review of the Aer Commuter Brief 2 and while I equally love that product and considered it for the same use case scenario, I kinda feel it would be a bit too large for the above-mentioned needs. Great to know!
Would this fir a ipad pro 12.9 2020?
Fit”
Not sure! I don't have an iPad - Def reach out to Aer to ask them :)
@@DiamonDanielVlogs hi! I wrote to aer, because I have the same question, they told me that iPadPro by itself will fit for sure but with magic keyboard combo will be a bit tight. I don’t know to buy it anyway 😂😅
I love this channel.
This channel loves you Syed! ♥️
@@Nomads.Nation i just bought this sling using your affiliate link. keep up the good work.
@@syedabdulhalim23 thanks so much for the support dude! It means so much to us ♥️
Aer Tech Sling 2 or Evergoods Mountain Hip Pack?
Never tried the Evergoods Mountain Hip - hopefully soon!
Dingle berries , I lost it….Hilarious “Great review” waiting on V3 aqua guard zips and RFI pouch…just saying your point on! Like Johns hair
Thanks so much Michael! And totally agree - aqua guard zips and RFID pocket would take this sling to the next level
Great review, you're a funny guy.
Ha thanks so much!
Judging from this review, I feel like the city sling carries a similar amount (except for the laptop). So for an everyday without a laptop the city is probably better.
The Tech Sling is 8 liters vs the City Sling with is 2.4 liters, so the tech sling can carry much more overall :)
Do you think its to big for someone who is 5.2 (#short boy)
It's impossible to say for sure, but I think it'll be perfect. Aer has a solid return policy, so just send it back if it's too big!
I'd really love to see you guys tear apart the Waterfield Designs Sutter Sling in a review. Their bags are expensive but look like really good quality.
awesome suggestion! I'll check 'em out!
Review peak design 45l travel backpack 😁
Coming soon!
Hey man, review the Aer travel sling, no one has reviews on this one, I'm also wondeing if it can fit a 16 inch macbook pro
Thanks for the recommendation - added to our wish-list :)
Nomads Nation It has a good design (looks) and versatility for my opinion, I wanna get it for my daily minimal carry for Paris and when I get to travel since I travel semi-minimal with my semi minimal with my carry on luggage, but the peoples is that there’s no reviews on this sling! :-(
Kobke I'll Def add it to my list, but I've heard rumors that they are planning to discontinue that bag... Maybe get one before it's too late!
@@Nomads.Nation I think I'll just buy it since I need something around this size
@@Kobk.e glad to hear!
That is a fucking good review. Subscribed! Please review Code of Bell Annex Liner. Thank you
Thanks so much Scott! And don't worry, Code of Bell is VERY high on our to-review list
best for go to work
hell yea 💪
Does it fit 12.9 iPad Pro? Like and subscribe 👍🏻
Are you secretly a CORDURA brand ambassador? You always speak so highly of their Ballistic Nylon. 3:00
Ha I wish! They should pay me for how much I’ve talked up their damn fabrics 😂
What's the best daily backpack?
Impossible to say! It totally depends on your needs/style. I’m currently rocking the Aer Tech pack 2 and it’s dope
@@Nomads.Nation isn't the nomatic backpack better for tech and school?
Elias Korawy yes I'd say it's ideal for tech stuff, school stuff and business professionals
@@Nomads.Nation thank you
Why would anyone put a water bottle next to a laptop, tablet, chargers, charging cables, mouse, portable keyboard, etc???
ive been doing it for years. just screw the bottle on tight, and you are good to go!
@@Nomads.Nation With all due respect...just because you can do it, doesn't mean it should be done.
@@RK-um9tu to each their own 💪🏻
The price is well over $100US once you include shipping costs and taxes...
Worth every penny
Maybe. But since I was able to buy mine on ebay for only $55US, I have no complaints...
@@RK-um9tu nice work!
This bag is really bland on the outside. It would be cool to get some person who is good at modifying apparel and see how DIYers could personalize bags like this. Just an idea :D
Good idea! Unfortunately I am the least-DIY person I know 😂
Very nice video - like all of your videos! You should have 100k subs soon if you keep up the good work. Hopefully you can review the Aer Tech Tote - note a single review on the entire web.
Thanks Rune! 100k subs is the goal! Also great recommendation with the Aer tote, I've added it to our to do list :)
Interesting bag... but no X-Pac is a deal-breaker.
the XPAC cult is real 😜
As if you were actually going to purchase this sling🤣😂🤣
Thanks for the great review! I just used your link to purchase the bag...There were a few extra steps before final payment & confirmation (putting in a "SAVE20" promotional code for Cyber Monday, entering my Paypal info, etc), so hopefully you got credit for it (I don’t know how your link works). Keep up the great work!!!
Thank you so much! The tech sling is an awesome bag, I'm sure you'll be happy with it!
It's a purse. Let's be real.
Sexiest man-purse in the game!
