In theory the V3 strap design should allow for ambidextrous carry, but I've seen several people report that if you load the bag with a lot of weight and then wear it on the right shoulder, the magnetic buckle can come apart on its own because the heavy bag hangs below the buckle.
I have the Day Sling 2 and love it but a bit small for a weekend day out. Everybody said that the 3 Max is too big so I never considered it. Looked at other options but then pulled the trigger on the 3 Max. Perfect and only slightly bigger in physical size but holds much more due to the gusset at the bottom so if no full does not bulk it up. Very happy with it.. very comfortable as well.
Have both for different uses when not needing a backback. I have small, separate mini packs to carry stuff I can transfer between the two when needed. Love the Target and WAWA bags I keep folded to pull out when a whim pops up to buys something last minute I didn't anticipate, then can even hook up by carabiner. NEVER underestimate having loops for those little must haves.

Great review, as always :-) I have the day sling 3 since about one month and was able to test the capacity before purchasing (thanks london undercover). Essential was capacity to hold the new iPad mini 6. It fits perfect in the back of the main compartment with the Apple cover and pencil connected. Tried another, bulkier cover and fits as well, the aer tag can be used as a loop to hold the pencil in that case (alternative use obviously as a pen loop. In addition to the iPad mini 6, I can pack: small wallet, keys, battery pack, phone (11 pro max), bulky uk 20w wall charger, two mophie charging cables (type c and lightning), AirPods Pro in a case, some mints, a small notebook, sunglasses in case and a small standard 50cl water bottle and an air tag. On other days, it also fits a smallish 8x30 binocular (in addition to the iPad mini and part of the other stuff… A remarkable amount of stuff for a smallish, discrete bag.. Hmm to buy the Day Sling 3 in 2023, or wait for a Day Sling 4????
I don't know when the 4 will come out and the 3 is pretty boss, but your calll!
@@Nomads.Nation If it were my call I'd end up buying everything in your videos haha. Your charisma just sells.
@@Lygon_ ha thanks my dude, sorry for any negative effects this channel may have on your wallet 😂
Looks like they claim it fits one on the site. I’ll use your link and order the xpac one and let you know for sure.
Thanks so much dude! Looking forward to hearing back from ya
The videography, presenter, and presentation on this channel is fucking top notch. Like TOP. FUCKING. NOTCH. I feel the low subscriber count is due to it being reviews on only backpacks and the like. Any thoughts or aspirations with reviewing other mainstream products?
Damn Jason thanks so much for the love! We are digging our small but engaged backpack community, but we’ll absolutely expand into other niches like tech soon 💪🏾
How secure and Filocks? Couldn't someone just run up and grab your sling and rip it off your body?
The thief would have to know how the fidlock worked, but yea, it would technically be easier to rip this thing off than a traditional buckle.
Is alpaca sling mini pro
?
Alpaka are they any good

Can u pls do pacsafe sling reviews and compare to aer?
I’ll add it to our to do list 👍🏽
@@Nomads.Nation thnx
After watching a few of your videos on slings, I'm leaning towards the AER slings, but I'm still at a toss between the City Sling 2 and the Day Sling 3? Are you able to do a side my side comparison video of the two or some quick insight on why you would choose one bag over the other?
Hey Kayla, thanks so much for the comment! We are wayyyy backed up with content so there's no way I can do a side by side video but I CAN tell you that you can't go wrong with either, just keep it simple and focus on the size. If you want something smaller, go with the City Sling. If you need more space, go with the Day Sling.
revisit in 2024 Q3. I hope to release Ultra version of Day sling3 MAX.
🤞
Best videos!!
cheers!
Liked the v3 strap more so you can wear on both sides of your body
Makes sense!
A good alternative is code of bell annex liner
I wanna review code of bell so bad - coming soon!
@@Nomads.Nation i have 2 product of cob the annex liner and the big sling evo xpak, fantastic and versatile product
@@fabriziogargiulo7435 I’ve only heard great things about them
@@Nomads.Nation the big sling is great but I must try with the harness system that turn it in a backpack
Do you have some kind of mental ray gun that you use on me whenever I watch one of your RUclips pack videos, Aaron? I don't know of any other way to explain how I agree with everything that you like about packs as well as everything that you don't care for. Hey, I'm not complaining; I'm just wondering about that ray gun and how I can get one of these. I think it would really help to use it on my wife at times. :)
Great minds must think alike Nathan! 🔫 😉
At last=]
I'm hundred years old.
💯
I want to see the biggest and fattest book it can fit comfortably.
Be sure to ask Aer customer support - I’m sure they can help you out

Go Heat!!! 🔥
Packing an IPad for these would have been more helpful.
Send me one and I’ll start packing them in all of our reviews 💪🏾
@@Nomads.Nation I don’t have one to send you. Thanks for responding. I watch all of your videos.
@@Unbought appreciate the support! If you ever come across a spare iPad I’ll still take it 😉
