Just made some at 10:30pm after a request from the Hubby for some no bakes. I've never had a crumbly no bake or one that didn't set up. Been eating & making these since I was a child. I always prep everything ahead & love switching up ingredients depending on what's in the pantry. Thankfully mine are never as stiff as these are and they spread out themselves into a cookie shape.

Made these this morning. Once I had followed the recipe they turned out soft so I put them in the fridge and after about 30 mins the tops had hardened a bit so I turned them over and placed them back in the fridge. They are chewy but really nice. I sprinkled a little expresso powder on top and they are yummy 😋. Thanks for the great recipes on here

Boil for 1 min, put wax paper directly onto granite countertop and spoon cookies onto wax paper. Use 2 3/4 cups of oats. Sets up perfectly every time and will relax into a better cookie shape than an ice cream scoop glob.

I also find that how you solidify them makes a difference. Last time I put half my cookies overnight in the fridge and the other half in the freezer. The ones in the fridge ended up hard, dry and crumbly. The ones in the freezer retained their gooey and fudge like qualities.

Oh Lisa! I finally found the best way to sneak flax seeds into my diet. I absolutely hate flax seeds but I force myself to eat them because they are really affective in aiding my poor menstural health!! I made a batch of these few days ago and left a review in the site as well, today i made another batch and this time i incorporated flax seeds and peanuts as well into the recipe, and ugh I am js sooo happy with the result. Thank you so much, also sorry for your loss🐈. Lots of love💕💕💕💕

add in pan, at medium temperature:
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup milk
2 cups coconut sugar (you can also use white sugar)
    1/4 cup cocoa powder
Mix in pan until all melted.
when bubbly, put a 2 minute timer on.
    when finished, add:
1/2 cup almond butter (you can also use peanut butter!!)

    3 cups of oats
scoop, and put in a cookie pan.
let it cool down, and eat. Enjoy! and hope this helped!!

I always loved these cookies. My grandmother used to make them. 💕 I'm low carb now, but I'll bet you could make them low carb by subbing Lakanto or Swerve for the sugar and maybe thinly sliced blanched almonds or coconut flakes for the oats. I can't wait to try it!

This is the first recipe I have ever tried from you and it is amazing! Thank you for it, very more-ish. If I can offer one tip though...would it be possible to post your recipes in metric form instead of cups? I found the whole "cup" measurement messy with a lot of cups to wash. Much easier to weigh everything out on scales and less to clean. Or for those who prefer "cup" measurements, maybe include metric weight as well? Just a suggestion but it would help a lot. Thanks again for a great recipe. Looking forward to trying more of your recipes out.

I loved these as a kid. One hint I learned was to use a peanut butter like Jif or Skippy rather than a more natural one because the little bit of flour in the PB helps the cookie not be too gloppy. (I had used Laura Scudder's natural organic PB for a batch and they were too gloppy.) Anyway, thanks for posting this video, which really brought me back to happy times as a kid in 1975.

      delicious recipe I made these.....yummy!
Issues making them with them I was thinking perhaps you can cook the quick oats and then do the cookies what do you think?
P.S All Souls matter to God
Brown, white, red yellow black/ ARE PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT!
God made flowers of many colors are all rely on the sun and the rain to grow to flourish.
Before a flower blossoms into its beautiful form it goes through a struggle in the dark. It needs to fight through the soil is God gives it life to pop out into the sunshine with the beautiful testimony of how God gives growth to even a flower how much more important are you than flowers.
And the same way humans go through things of all colors you may not see their struggle to grow you may not see their hearts cries. God does! so we are not to judge upon appearance we need to judge with a righteous judgment. with the word of God! we need to love and encouraged
and build up and not tear down!
Jesus Christ came to save that which is lost the Lord is looking for his sheep the Lord is looking for flowers of all colors to lift their petals to the sky!
      ❤✝❤
      ,🙌
      🌷🌺🌻,🌼
      Hallelujah!

They look like Duralex 'Lys' nested glass bowls. You should be able to find them by googling.

Will try this recipe. I have everything for it. We grew up eating these. But when I tried to make them. Most the time they never set up. I think it was the timing on it. 🙂

It took me a few tries to really perfect these cookies! So if you follow my tips and tricks, I hope you end up with perfectly set cookies 😊

Thanks for the amazing recipe! I made it tonight using exactly the same recipe and it turns out it’s a bit too sweet. Would it work fine if I cut the coconut sugar in half? The cocoa power I use is unsweetened as well as the almond milk

I would only recommend to reduce the sugar by just a bit as it would alter the consistency of the cookie since you are reducing a dry ingredient! 😊

If reducing a dry ingredient is an issue, could you increase the oats to make up for cutting the sugar?

I just found this and these cookies seem out of this world. I want to make them but wondered if the butter could be replaced with vegetable oil or applesauce? I avoid all dairy for medical reasons. And can the sugar be replaced with maple syrup? Maybe adjust for the excess moisture with a bit more oatmeal? Thank you.

Questions- Could I use the following subs, coconut oil instead of butter and monk fruit/erythrithol sweetner instead of sugar.? Thanks
