I love that you always show a variety of options, and with this recipe I'm going to try the Chocolate coconut protein bars first. Thanks for all the great recipes!
@DingoDandy09 - Hey there! Macros and nutritional information for all of my recipes can be found on my website (link in bio) - feel free to check them out there!
I'm a 71 year old widow and made the peanut butter bars yesterday. I added a few milk chocolate chips and they were amazing for breakfast with a nice cup of coffee 😋 it kept me full all day! I will definitely be making these again!! Think I'll add some cinnamon next time and cut into smaller squares. What a great recipe, thank you for sharing these recipes. God bless you and your family👑🙏✝️💞🐾🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯
@kimberly-ek8ii These are so quick to make and so very yummy 😋 Warming the peanut butter just for few seconds in the microwave makes it easier to mix. I used a 12x12 pan and they were a little on the thick side. Lining your pan with parchment paper is a great way to remove from the pan and to slice. I know you're going to love them.
This week I was at the health food store and saw they had some oat bars and as god is my witness I was driving home from work today thinking "I'm going to try and recreate those!" But first I logged on and saw this. I got a few ideas. Definitely going to add some puffed rice and use some coconut oil. Also my hack for no bakes is I use a silicone muffin pan so I just pop out individual pieces with no cutting. Thanks for the inspiration!
That's awesome! For sure - the puffed rice helps make it less dense, a bit lighter, more airy and crunchy; while the coconut oil helps bind all the different ingredients together, which is helpful when using different types of ingredients with different textures. Great call on the silicone muffin pan! That's a great time saver 😀 Thanks so much for watching!
I'm a 72 old guy. I'm going to try to make these, I don't like cooking or doing dishes. This should cut down on both. And if they tast good, that will be a bonus. Thanks
Love these recipes! I have a soy allergy so processed food is OUT! Thank you for posting these great recipes! Love the silicone muffin pan idea. I got some silicone molds that are bar shaped on Amazon. They are deeper than the size of a granola bar but I just fill them half way.
I made the protein oat bars, didn't have all the ingredients but used olive oil instead of coconut, normal milk, and chocolate flavoured whey. Incredibly easy to make, didn't take me long and I'm not experienced with this stuff. Most of all, after a few hours I had the best protein bars I've ever had, absolutely delicious, soft and very filling, unlike shop protein bars, and also clean of anything unnatural. I can't thank you enough for this recipe.
i did the same thing, but with vanilla protein powder and they turned out a-mazing. Can’t recommend them enough- will be regularly making them from now on.
FYI- Used coconut oil on the second batch, they do stick together better and it adds to the flavour, I make them almost weekly now. The flapjack one is crazy easy, my kids love it and make it almost on their own.
I have a hand crank food processor that separates fruits and berries from their seeds and skins. I processed down a huge bag of blue berries and brought them to a low boil on the stove. Once hot i added pectin (used for Jam) a small spoon full of citric acid (a preservative but healthy) then Oatmeal flour and Almond flour. I pressed it all into a large shallow baking pan and let cool. They are super healthy, and taste really good. I swap the fruits around for different flavors. My favorite are blueberry/black Raspberry. Super easy to make.
These are super easy to make and you can customize how you like them…can’t eat peanut butter? Use almond or cashew or tahini. I had puffed quinoa and added that too. Use different dried fruits. The combos are endless. Very good recipe, thanks!
You got it! They're so easily customizable that you can literally use up almost anything you have at home in your kitchen or pantry. It's perfect for adapting to different dietary needs as well! Thanks so much for watching!
Yes! Two main points for me: 1) No bake (no thermo treatment)! 2) Phrase "...because I want control all ingredients" ! Exactly!! Finally, I found a good vid, thx for sharing! Now, easy I make my own bars: vegan, all organic ingredients, no sugar, yummy!
Made this last night and had it before and after my workout. It’s absolutely great I love how you show different ways to making it and also how detailed you are.Thank you!❤
Just made the classic oat bar. It was nice and easy. I'm going to leave it in the fridge overnight. Thank you very much. I bought a quest protein bar yesterday afternoon, it was expensive and not very nice. It tasted artificial. I'm so glad I came across your channel. I can't wait to pack my oat bar in my lunch box for work. Thank you!
Thanks so much for the comment! I totally agree about the store-bought bars, especially protein bars. Often there are so many additives to them that make them taste a little off, or even worse, just unpaletable. I always prefer making my own, whenever I can as an alternative to store-bought bars - that way I can control what I put into them. Thanks so much for watching and for sharing!
These have become a staple in my household and they are all so ridiculously easy and quick to make, not to mention absolutely delicious! I like all the recipes as they are, but I wanted another bar that had higher protein, so I made a slight adaptation to the crunchy oat bar. I find the bars plenty sweet, so I took out the mini chocolate chips/topping and used two scoops of chocolate protein powder and maybe 1/2 tbsp of oat milk to help the bars come together. In addition to the 40g of seeds, I also added several tbsp of hemp hearts. The bars were still a huge hit and the texture was surprisingly really great! I love having these versatile recipes!
That's awesome to hear that these have become a staple for you! That's a great tweak to boost the protein in the bars - and the beauty of how easily customizable they are to suit each person's individual tastes and nutritional preferences. Hope you'll continue to enjoy experimenting with different ingredients! Thanks so much for the comment!
I eat granola bars almost daily. I don't eat lunch a work so its nice to bring something small to keep up my energy. And sometimes i eat them just for a snack. So im excited to try these and hopefully reduse the cost and also get healthier bars ❤️
Awesome! I hope you enjoy giving these a try! One quick tip is if you do bring them to work with you, leave them in your work fridge (if you have one available) if you can. Keeping them chilled will help them stick together better for longer throughout the day. Thanks for watching and enjoy!
Thank you so much, this is the exact video i needed. One basic recipe that can be customized and no bake. I live in an old, historic home with no air conditioning. When summer comes I stop using the oven until fall.
That's great to hear! I'm glad you found the video helpful and I hope you enjoy giving it a try for those hot summer months without turning on the oven!
I love this tutorial. I watched a lot of granola bars tutorial in Tiktok and RUclips because I would like to make some at home before I found this. None of them were clear and informative as this video. Your voice’s also calming.
I'm a huge fan of your cooking videos! I just made your overnight oats and it was a game-changer. It's so helpful to have recipes that are easily customizable for extra protein like these protein bars. Please keep these creative ideas coming!
Hey there! That's awesome that you enjoyed the overnight oats - there are so many ways to enjoy oats, I'm hoping you'll enjoy these recipes for the no-bake oat bars as well. And yes, I love sharing recipes that allow each person to customize according to their preferences 😀 Thanks so much for watching and for the comment!
Very nice i will defernetly make these the price thay charg in the shops for these iv payed 90 p for 1 and this man speakes so clearly youcan here every word he says thank you for bringing these to us it will sertanly save money and you know wats gone in it
Wow! Saw this post this morning and made a mash up of the trail bar and crunchy oat bar. Left in fridge for 5 hours and they are AMAZING. So careful with my diet , do intermittent fasting so if I have a snack, I want to know exactly what’s in it. Definitely recommend. Many thanks
That's amazing to hear! I honestly eat the trail mix bars the most out of these recipes - they're so easy to make and switch up each time with different types of nuts, seeds, dried fruits, whatever I have on-hand at the time that I'm looking to use up. Thanks so much for watching - I'm so glad they turned out so great for you!
I really appreciate when you explain why certain ingredients are used. it really helps if one wants to try a substitute and used a similar type ingredient. I also love love that you take the time to list freshness days and if it's good to freeze. I cook for only myself and I appreciate food that can be frozen so I can make more varieties without throwing out stale food. my only request is if you can add some steel cut oat recipes although I know they aren't as popular as rolled.
I'm glad you found all of those tips and instructions helpful and informative! Thanks for the feedback 😀 and noted on steel cut oat recipes, great suggestion for a future video!
I just tried this and after 3 hours I've gotten a healthy and tasty snack, that I can eat for a couple of days! Thank you soooo much for thisss! Gonna make em more! (plus it was so easyyy)
Thanks for adding the recipe time stamps. I am going to make your first recipe right now. Can’t wait to eat one in a few hours. ❤ I love how well you give directions.
Just wanted to say I love your cooking videos! I whipped up your overnight oats recipe recently and wow, it was so great! I especially love how easy it is to add different things for extra protein, just like with those protein bars you showed. Keep up the fantastic and creative recipe ideas!
That's awesome to hear! I'm so glad you enjoy the videos and the overnight oats. And for sure, sharing recipes that are easily customizable to suit everyone's own unique tastes and preferences is super important to me - it makes cooking or baking easy, accessible and enjoyable. Thanks so much for watching and for the comment! 😀
I'm making the chocolate coconut bars as I write this! THANK YOU for posting the gram conversions for everything. It makes the process about 10x easier for me, especially given my physical disability, and I don't have to deal with the nightmare of sticky ingredients & measuring cups. Less cleanup too!
Absolutely! I'm glad you find the conversions helpful. Thanks so much for watching - I'd love to hear how the chocolate coconut bars turn out for you! 😀
@@toastyapron They turned out delicious and I find the texture really addictive- like easily the best texture of any oat/protein bar I've made or bought. I would not have thought to use hemp hearts or chia seeds, but I really liked the little crunch the chia seeds added, and I might even add an extra tbsp or two of hemp hearts the next time I make this! They even looked professional, despite being so easy to put together. I did share these with family members and some were not as fond of the coconut flavour that the coconut oil specifically adds (we're big fans of coconut flakes here, so it's likely not that), but I'm guessing I couldn't sub in a different oil because you need the saturated/solid at room temp quality the coconut oil brings? Thanks again for a banger of a recipe! I'm looking forward to making the crunchy oat bars next.
@LoveCrumb that's awesome to hear! I'm so glad they turned out great for you. As for subbing the coconut oil, you can also use melted butter which has a similar effect of binding the ingredients together. The taste may be more to your liking than the coconut oil!
I made the first recipe last night. They are super yummy! How ever they are very sweet. It's kind of like having cookies for breakfast. Lol. A bit more sugar than I'd like but I'd still rather give this to my kids than store bought stuff. They really like the made good oat bars but they get expensive. Plus being able to change add ins and stuff is fun. Thanks for the recipes! Just did some math, I cut it into 22 small bars and it comes out to aprox 5 grams of sugar from just the honey. So it's actually pretty close to the made good bars.
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed giving these a try - and totally understand your point about sweetness. The great thing about these bars (and all my recipes in general) is that they're easily customizable, so you can adjust the sweetness level (or other ingredients) to your liking to suit your own individual tastes and preferences. That's one of my favourite things about making these at home (as opposed to store-bought) - it's totally in our control! 😀
That's so amazing to hear! I'm so glad you and your guests all enjoyed the recipes so much. Thanks for giving it a try and for sharing these with others as well!
High from Greece 🇬🇷 Thank you for sharing such amazing recipes, subscribed 😊 Please can I ask what can you potentially substitute Oats with ? As someone with sugar problems I have to be careful of oats, can we subsituwith Quinoa ? Or Buckwheat? Many thanks 🙏
We loved your overnight oats, we've been having them almost every morning and absolutely love them. Now I'd love to try these! Thanks, your recipes are gems: they involve all available ingredients and they are so versatile. Also, I really like that they are more on a healthier side but I can still take a bit of chocolate or other yummies to add to the base, not even nearly a strict starvation diet but quite balanced.
Thanks so much for the comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the overnight oats - there are so many great ways to enjoys beyond just regular oatmeal, so I'm glad you're finding these recipes helpful, versatile and tasty. And you're absolutely right - I love sharing recipes that are easily customizable, so that each person can make them according to their tastes, diet restrictions, and ingredients on hand. Thanks for watching!
Wow thank you so much they look delicious and easy to make. I appreciate you. But I’m going to substitute avocado oil instead of coconut oil because I don’t like the taste of coconut. I hope that works.🤞🏽
Thanks so much for watching! I personally opt for coconut oil because it solidifies when chilled, which helps keep the ingredients tightly binded together in bar form. If you'd like to use coconut oil but prefer a more neutral taste, you can use Refined Coconut Oil which has a much milder, almost flavourless taste compared to Virgin Coconut Oil. But I'd love to hear how it turns out for you with avocado oil!
Thank you for these recipes! 🫶 I’m always looking for protein bars, or granola bars without nuts- now these are easy to make. Although instead of peanut-butter I’m going to try it with SunButter (I have nut allergies). It should work the same. 👍
Awesome to hear! Yes sunbutter (or any other seed butters) will work great in this recipe as well as a nut-free substitute. I'd love to hear how they turn out for you! Enjoy and thanks so much for watching!
@@toastyapron the second batch seemed to be done first so I took them up and cut them up and they were not very crumbly so they are in the freezer. The first batch was in the fridge for longer and looked sticky but stayed together better so they are in the fridge in the coldest port. I don’t think I followed instructions as I used creamed honey. They didn’t mix all that well an I think I just gave up and put them in containers in the fridge. They were a bit thick or thin depending on the pan. Sorry for long answer
@kandymich4861 Sorry to hear it didn't turn out as expected! I would agree, I think the creamed honey was likely the issue in causing it to not stick together as well. You may want to try honey next time, and also make sure to press down firmly so that all of the ingredients are tightly packed - that's super important to making sure the bars firm up and pack together densely. Hope that helps, thanks for giving these a try!
I just watched your other video about ice cream using Frozen bananas. I watched it probably four times all the way through. I shared it on Pinterest and I've shared this one as well. I've been home sick for 3 days with the flu. It's such a drag living alone LOL but tomorrow I'm going to order some groceries and have them deliver them to my car. I cannot wait to try these things that you've prepared. I know they'll help me feel better too.😊
Thanks so much for sharing and for watching, I appreciate the support! And sorry to hear you've been home sick - feel better soon and these will be something to look forward to when you feel better! 😀
I have been trying to cut cost + eat cleaner. Your videos are a life savor!!! Just tried the third recipe and WOW. It is SOOO good and addicting, even my dad was stealing my bars! Thank you for these videos & Free Palestine.
Ohhhh my fluff, these look so delicious, I can't wait to try them. Question: I'm a 71 year old widow, should I be using protein powder at my age? If so, what kind? All the ones I see are very confusing figure what I should be using. Thank you and God bless you 👑🙏💞✝️🐾🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯
Hey there! Unfortunately I can't advise on whether you should be using protein powder, but I'd suggest asking your doctor or speaking with a dietitian to see what works best for you - they'll be much better able to advise you on that than me 😀 I appreciate the comment though and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
@strawberrytart321 It's not a label, it's my title and my story, it's who I am,it's my pronoun, saying I'm not a crazy transgender and I'm not gay. Thank you Jesus 👑🙏💞✝️🐾🕯
I already made the classic and they were delicious. I just made the protein chocolate ones and I am sure they will be delicious also. Thanks for the recipe.
I’m glad I found this from Google. Personally been looking up recipe for healthier granola bars I want to make for husband& I. This was very helpful. Not too fast in video,& easy to follow to write ingredients down. Need to buy a few ingredients then I plan on making them. Thanks much.
Suggestion: list all ingredients in one list, then people can choose from the whole list the items they have and like in their bars. Great video. I especially love the 3 ingredient idea. It would be hard to beat that one. I'm low on honey, but i have real maple syrup so i think I'll try that. And i might try it with date syrup some time. Keep u the good work!
These recipes look so good! I’m going to buy some seed butter and try them making them for my son who has a nut allergy :-) It’s so hard to find recipes like this without nuts / nut butter, so I’m thankful for the idea of using seed butter! Looking forward to trying them all!!
Awesome! For sure, seed butter is a great way to enjoy this for those who have nut allergies. I'm glad you found the tip helpful! Thanks so much for watching!
Love these ideas, cant wait to try the base nut bar, but can I substitute olive oil for the coconut oil my husband and kids are allergic to coconut. Their food allergy makes healthy options difficult sometimes.
I haven't been able to get alot of hours at work so I've had to make cut backs on food, so that means some cookies 1 a month and a gallon tub of ice cream thats all i get for snacks. I always buy alot of peanut butter to substitute as a snack but now this will actually give me a snack instead of just eating a spoonful of peanut butter at a time.
Thank you for this wonderful video. They all look delicious. I'm going to try them all. I'm going to make the second recipe first. I like all the dried fruits, nuts and seeds. 👍👍👏👏😊
Awesome! I love trail mix bar as well - it's one of my favourites and probably the one I most frequently make. I hope you enjoy giving it a try - thanks so much for watching!
Thanks so much for watching, and for the suggestion! Absolutely - I love making granola at home so that'll definitely be in the works for a future video! 😀
I just stumbled upon your channel and these energy bars. I made the trail mix bars, and I am very pleased with them. Everyone loves them, including the grandchildren.
That's so wonderful to hear! They a great kid-friendly snack or breakfast, for sure - I'm glad your grandkids love them as well! Thanks so much for watching!
Does the peanut butter matter? Could I use an alternative as someone in my family might be allergic. Or could I just use more of one of the others, like honey? Great video, these always look amazing.
Hey there! I haven't tried making this recipe without nut butter so I'm not sure how it would turn out if you only used honey/coconut oil as a binding agent. But for a nut-free alternative, you can opt to use seed butter (such as sunflower seed butter) instead! That will work just as well in this recipe. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
@pauljakeman Hey there! If your family member's allergy is specific to peanuts, then yes for sure - almond butter, cashew butter, or any kind of nut butter would work great for this recipe as well!
Thanks for watching! The great thing about these recipes is you can customize the sweetness level as you like 😀 I hope cutting the honey in half will give you the level of sweetness you're looking for!
Olive oil is a great replacement for coconut oil or, as I did, add a bit more water instead (sunflower or vegetable oil works to). I'm not sure what could replace peanut butter, other than another nut butter
If you get 2 identical baking pans, you can cover the sticky granola mix with parchment, and use the second baking pan to press---instead of the spatula and Mason jar.
Thanks for the recipes. They look great and I'm going to try it out soon. Could I ask the reason you add almond milk to the protein bars? And are there alternatives to almond milk one could use?
Hey there! Great question - the reason I added it in is to balance out the added dryness from the protein powder, by adding in a bit of liquid. Whenever I add in a large portion of dry ingredients (such as protein powder) I always try to mix in a bit of extra liquid as well. I prefer unsweetened almond milk for the creaminess and neutral taste (without added sugars or heavy calories) - but you can certainly use any kind of milk you like. Hope that helps!
I bought an oat bar today because I didn't get a chance to have my usual breakfast of oats in the morning (it really helps my milk supply as a breastfeeding momma). I figured, this would be great to have a stash of and looked for a recipe and here I am. Question though, if I didn't want to add peanut butter, what could be a substitute?
I agree with @Tmh-523 - almond or cashew butter work great as well, while seed butters such as sunflower seed butter or pumpkin seed butter are great substitutes for those with nut allergies.
These all looked really delicious! I especially loved all the suggested variations. It would be great to see a second round of granola bar recipes. You better believe I subbed!

God bless you all from Roanoke Virginia 👑🙏
What does you been 71 and being a widow have to do with making the bars?
A suggestion: toast the oats in a pan on the stove on low until golden before adding. It gives it a nuttier taste. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for sharing that tip!
I toast the oats, coconut and the sesame seeds.
And when I don't have honey, I always have dried dates and prunes, which I soften on the stove top, almost the same consistency as honey.
U guys are so so amazing tq so much from Singapore!!

That's awesome to hear! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and found it super easy to make 😀 Thanks for watching and for giving it a try!
Thanks for adding the recipe time stamps. I am going to make your first recipe right now. Can’t wait to eat one in a few hours. ❤ I love how well you give directions.
Amazing! I'd love to hear how they turned out for you! Thanks for watching 🙂
I just made the classic. It's in the fridge firming up, I will come back to comment on the final outcome. Thanks for the recipe.
Awesome to hear, thanks for watching and for giving it a try! I'd love to hear how they turned out for you!
@@toastyapron I'll make a note of that-thanks! Or maybe I'll just make 'em the usual way next time and keep them to myself hehe
I made the first one but added pepitas, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds, came out amazing.
Awesome to hear! Thanks for giving it a try - I'm glad you were able to give it a try with your own delicious customizations! 😀
@toastyapron ... yes turned out great, I shared with friends and they loved it too...thank you for sharing
I'm REALLY pleased with your rec3 for NO BAKED oat bars. Thanks you loads for sharing
😊❤🇯🇲
Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for making it "simple" and adding the list of ingredients on the website(no scrolling-seeking for it)
You're very welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful - thanks so much for watching!
I made the crunchy oat bars...absolutely delicious!! 😋 Love the addition of rice krispies makes such a difference. Thank you very much for this treat😊
Amazing to hear! Thanks for giving them a try - I'm so glad you enjoyed the recipe!
This video is great. Thank you. Great idea about clips on the sides. I'll be making these have all ingredients in cupboard
Amazing! I'm glad you found that tip helpful - hope you enjoy giving these a try! Thanks for watching 🙂
Just came across your channel. Great instructions and voice too. Will try all of these this weekend thankyou

I will be making one of these recipes first thing in the morning. Thanks
Hope you enjoy giving these a try! I'd love to hear how they turn out for you!
These are delicious! Thanks for giving me a reasonable alternative to desserts. 👍
Thanks so much for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed them!
Thank you for the great recipe! I made the Trail Mix bars today and they're delicious!
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed them! Thanks so much for watching and for sharing how they went for you!
Thank you for these recipes! 🫶
I’m always looking for protein bars, or granola bars without nuts- now these are easy to make.
Thank you I made two batches now just waiting to see how they turn out.
Awesome! I'd love to hear how they turned out for you!

You can certainly make these without the added salt. Hope you enjoy giving them a try!
Why do you have to call yourself a widow?

Why would you ask?

@@toastyapron You're welcome. I literally just put the mixture in the fridge. This is going to be awesome! 😎 👍
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
These recipes look so good! I’m going to buy some seed butter and try them making them for my son who has a nut allergy :-) It’s so hard to find recipes like this without nuts / nut butter, so I’m thankful for the idea of using seed butter! Looking forward to trying them all!!

Thx a million best easy recipies I have seen in years definitely going to try them. God bless

Love these ideas, cant wait to try the base nut bar, but can I substitute olive oil for the coconut oil my husband and kids are allergic to coconut. Their food allergy makes healthy options difficult sometimes.
Hey there! You can substitute unsalted butter in place of coconut oil - it has a similar binding effect :) hope that helps, thanks for watching!
I keep avoiding eating pumpkin seeds and flax, but this granuala makes it look appetizing and more nutritious ✨✨

Amazing! I hope you'll be able to incorporate this as part of your snacking routine! Thanks for watching!

@@toastyapron heya thanks for the reply. There’s also almond butter I’ve found out too. I guess it’s more the consistency that’s important to?
@pauljakeman Hey there! If your family member's allergy is specific to peanuts, then yes for sure - almond butter, cashew butter, or any kind of nut butter would work great for this recipe as well!
Super easy steps to follow and super healthy to eat it thanks for sharing useful recipes❤

I really liked your recipe and would like to try making it. Can you please tell with what can we replace the peanut butter and coconut oil?
Olive oil is a great replacement for coconut oil or, as I did, add a bit more water instead (sunflower or vegetable oil works to). I'm not sure what could replace peanut butter, other than another nut butter
I appreciate a good “no bake” recipe!! Thanks so much for this idea. I have plenty of oats I need to use up😊
Thanks so much for watching! I use oats all the time - the great thing is there are so many ways to use them up 😀
Thanks for the caloric information
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
If you get 2 identical baking pans, you can cover the sticky granola mix with parchment, and use the second baking pan to press---instead of the spatula and Mason jar.
That's a fantastic tip! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the explanation, that makes a lot of sense
These all look delicious! I'll be trying them soon. Thank you!
Thanks for watching - I hope you enjoy giving them a try!

Sunflower seed butter, almond butter, pumpkin seed butter, etc.
@@Tmh-523 awesome, thank you~
I agree with @Tmh-523 - almond or cashew butter work great as well, while seed butters such as sunflower seed butter or pumpkin seed butter are great substitutes for those with nut allergies.
