Pretty much the point was that we see Henry finally verbalize Hook is family, and deep down Henry knew this. These two are a Emma's true loves so it was important to see their relationship and also they live together
Cute Dad things in this scene: 1) Hook wants to spend time with Henry and shows an interest in the thing that he knows Henry enjoys doing- playing video games. He might not know what it's called and also probably knows full well he'll fail miserably at attempting to learn how to play, but he still wants to connect with Henry! 2) He also wants to take care of Henry! Hook swiftly decides against the pop tarts and offers to make Henry a "proper" breakfast and wants to give him a healthy serving of fruit to ward off scurvy. Because of course, a pirate would worry about that. This is just so cute. I'm having emotions about Dad!Killian.
Cute scene. The three are a real family. I laughed when Killian said “hurry back. I’ll make us a pirate’s breakfast of grapefruit and boiled mackerel. There’ll be no scurvy here today.”
At least killian isn't letting Henry eat something unhealthy for breakfast, though I don't know if mackerel can let Henry keep his stomach from erupting like a volcano.
I miss Killian and Emma so much. No other fictional couple has ever come close to those two. Their journey towards each other and towards love was so beautiful ❤ they healed each other and made each other better
I can't really believe there are people that expect Henry to look at Hook as his father😂end of S5 gave him a lot of depth to the relationship he had with his real father enough and the fact that he already is ok with Emma and Hook being a couple is beyond good especially considering in his shoes, I would ask myself "Is he my step-father or my father's step-father?" expecting him to see Hook more than that, is too much!
