Well, technically, there were TWO smart people. Regina had the sense to get into a chair before she fell asleep, and Emma snuggled against Killian before she fell asleep. I DO love how its Hook that is the first one to take the potion....even before Emma and Regina. It truly shows his goodness as a hero shining through.
Emma and David's relationship is something else ❤️ she's such a daddy's little girl, seriously!!! he likes her so much! every time they had a scene together, the affection was in his eyes and you could just see how much he loved his daughter.
I think it's so sweet that David rushes to Emma straight away I always loved the relationship he had with her he loved her and put her first all be wanted to do was protect her it's nice
Anyone else met when Emma breathes “dad” upon waking up? I remember in the early seasons she had so much trouble recognizing David as her father. Far from calling him “dad” but in this scene it feels so effortless. I love good character development in a show! 😊
Love how everyone is commenting on how deep Emma & David's father/daughter relationship has gotten since the 3rd season. Also, love how Emma & Hook laid together with their hands together.
Oooohhh I just love the humanity and transformation of Hook😩. He was truly relieved like a great weight had been lifted off his heart when David revealed that Emma told his secret but David forgave him in that moment when he said "it was a long time ago, you're a changed man"... And now I'm silently 😭😭😭🤧....
All the comments about Covid made me think they should have a OUAT special where an enchanted version of Covid like a spell or something is introduced to the Enchanted Forest. Not sure how to make it interesting though.
Out of all the minor characters, it’s Grumpy that steps up first to take the risk and drink the curse. Shows his character and dedication to Snow and Charming.

Regina only changed because of Henry, because if she hadn’t, she knew she’d lose him. Hook, however, went back for them in season 2 when he could have left with the bean and saved himself, saved David when he was dying of dreamshade, and went back for Emma in New York after Snow cast the curse. Saying he’d be different if not for Emma is the same as saying Regina would be different if not for Henry. Who cares why they changed? The fact is they did, and because of that, they gained more than they ever thought possible

They only changed for one person, but because of that one person, they gained a bigger family and people they would lay their lives down for in the process. You can’t tell me Hook doesn’t care about David or Henry or even Belle in season 6 when he tried to save each of their lives or souls that season or offered them protection when they needed it in Belle’s case. Even Regina went to great lengths to help Snow and David in season 6, not because it’s what Henry wanted, but because they’re her friends and family and she cares about their well-being and would hate to lose them

She’s grown so much as a character that they all expect her to be with Emma’s family, and consider her a part of it. Same with Hook. Like you said, he went from wanting to kill Belle to protecting her. They ALL went to the Underworld to get HOOK, whereas in season 2, probably even 3, they would have left him there. So yeah, I agree with you
