I will forever be bitter about the fact that the writers did us so dirty.
SwanQueen deserved better. Emma and Regina are, and will always be, perfect for each other.
Thank god for all the creative fanart and fanvideo creators and all the fanfiction writers, the fandom wouldn't be the same without you.
Hope y'all enjoyed since I put all my blood, sweat and tears into this video.

It’s usually because they’re good actors/actresses... it’s also sometimes easier to portray these extreme characters when there are no similarities to your own personality. It’s something scientific about understanding the extremes (opposites) and knowing how to act/interact by using personal experiences and then doing the reverse.

What really hurt as a viewer was the dang writers knew how the fans felt about swan queen but didn't even totally go for it. They were too scared but then they say the story was always about emma and regina...

Yes you can see the love even if they never laid a finger on each other romantically. The love present was felt and needed no other gesture (physical or not) to make it real 💗🙏🏽

Oh my god how did I NEVER notice how Incredibly gay Regina was for Emma. Jesus. That’s insane. Legit the main reason they were never together was just because they were two girls. Imagine if Emma was a man. They would been canon SO FAST.
I believe the same. As in so many love stories, the two main characters start by hating each other and by the end, they are together. This would have happened if one of them was a man.

Why do people insist that love is only something romantic/sexual? I personally see them as really good friends, perhaps even sisters. Even if one of them was man, I still believe that they could have had the same kind of relationship.
The fact that Emma didn't use her powers to save her parents , but she did to save Regina says a lot about their relationship

They are literally the best part of OUAT 👌🦢👑they understand each other on a deep level that no one else does and they are just so strongest together this is amazing because when they look at each other you can tell its true love

at first i didnt get it but then i saw a small scene about 5 minutes long if that in one the middle seasons and then understood perfectly. Their chemistry is amazing and its a real shame that just because they were women, the relationship wasnt pursued as canon.

That line... spoke volumes. Am I the only one who felt like maybe, just maybe, Regina learned to love again thanks to Emma... and then it happened the other way around. They just never had the timing of being together right (Thanks writers for screwing that up).

All our ship feels never truly go away, they just get stored in dark corners of our poor worn-out hearts, & as soon as the box gets bumped, whoosh! They come flooding back in waves of angsty sorrow &/or squee (often bitter forms of both at the same time) & we are left lamenting all the what-ifs & might-have-beens & so on.. sigh. I forgot how many scenes Emma and Regina share! Gosh, it was a really waste of a beautiful love story :( I mean they started refusing each other and finished being friends and understand each other. Season 3-5 they have so much chemistry and were the swanqueen season :) Ater that, A&E decided focused on other ships and well...

this video really shows how their friendship evolved with the help of each other, emma helped regina and also harmed her. so did regina. but in the end they were both there for each other, they both got their happy ending and lived happily ever after, no matter how evil or nice they are, hope and love always wins in the end.

The two major crimes of this show was
1) wasting the potential for the love story they were clearly writing and
2) having the gall to make us feel crazy for seeing the obvious

Even though the show didn't end the way most of us wanted it to, with Regina and Emma being together, I believe we can all appreciate how far Regina came from a woman filled with pain and hurt that was frustrated with her past to a woman filled with love for her family and rather than lashing out and holding grudges she now thinks things through. I also believe that Emma had come a long way from being angry at her parents and Neal from abandoning her to growing as a human to understand that family comes in all shapes and sizes. I admit, the last scene from the show made me shed a few tears from seeing almost a decade of love and friendship come to an end. Thank you for creating this video and allowing me to reflect on all the moments where the characters who helped me understand myself all those years ago are shown again in their best and worst moments. This was the best 21 minutes of watching something in my life and I don't regret watching this over sleeping at all. Now that we are in a new decade perhaps other creators can learn something from this powerful duo and not make the same mistakes that these writers did with Once Upon a Time.
