Thanks for the likes! Of course, the acting is stellar, but this was also oz important to the plot, as established by that point. 2 years had been leading up to this, back when things were more planned out and cohesive. Here's some things I can point out that make this my favorite. I really enjoy 1:24 to 1:36. Rumple realizes first and gives a little finger wag. The shock probably silenced him long enough for Nealfire's realization. His impressive rage from just moments before had cooled. Poor Henry didn't get it until a bit later. The way he asked "Is that Baelfire?" was so innocent. Such a sharp contrast to the confusion and hurt he would feel shortly after. The range of emotions from Nealfire is great. The hand gesture at 2:19 is heartbreaking. I also really enjoy watching Emma the entire time. She was so much more resigned after Nealfire burst in, and she was already fairly guarded about having to lie to Gold. Probably knew this wasn't going to end well. The looks at 0:42 and 0:57 really cement it.
The acting in this scene is so good. From Henry’s delivery of his lines, and the way he slowly started figuring out that Emma lied. Rumple piecing everything together, and his anger. The pain In Emma’s eyes. And Neal was at his best with his acting, in this entire episode. The anger at Rumple, the anger and love he showed toward Emma, and the pain in his eyes when he told Emma how he found out. He hated leaving her. And the way he goes from yelling trying to figure out Henry’s age to immediate shock upon recognition and the immediate step backwards. Plus the chemistry between Neal and Jennifer was great.
Tasha Thaweeshti Sounds like a typical Thanksgiving to me.Well, except in my family I'm drunk and avoiding eye contact as everyone decides to air their grievances for the year.
"How old are you" "Don't answer him" HOW OLD ARE YOU KID" "ELEVEN!! Now, WHY is everyone yelling!!" Emma rushing Henry into the other room telling Henry not to answer him was a dead giveaway.

*Me watching* Bae comes into the room Me: "Oh gosh" Mr. Gold asks how they know each other Me: "Oh gosh! Henry comes into the room Me: "Oh crud..." O.O Most intense scene EVER.
Rumpelstiltskin went from 100 to 0 REAL fast. He's like "well, I have drama with my boy, but it it's NOTHING on this... I'll wait." And breaks down silently as he sees his grandson went through losing his father just like Bae did and just like he himself did. And that Bae lost out on raising his boy for a huge chunk of his childhood, just like him... He does this when Neal dies, too, he turns his back to give the two of them a moment of privacy.
Oh my gosh, this scene right here. Bealfire/Neal pops in and he's thinking, "HEY! Don't touch my woman!" Seconds later, Emma and Neal make it clear that they know each other and he's thinking, "Uh-uh, wait a minute, ya'll already know each other?" Moments later, Henry's like, "Mom?" Rumpel and Neal are looking like, "Wait...mom?" Henry finds out that Neal is his father and Rumpel's looking like, "No! If I don't get a break, none of ya'll ain't getting no break!" The epic "a-ha" family reunion
They should put the scene when Charming and Snow find out. I love it when Charming says "Good thing we don't have thanksgiving dinners because that family reunion would suck!"
This for me is one of the most powerful scenes of the entire series : Rumple finally reuniting with the son he let down only to find out his son ended up living a similar fate by not raising his child ; Emma reuniting with her one true sad love and wondering whether it was all just a big lie ; Baelfire reuniting with the 2 people he ever cared about and ironically, abandoned.
The plotlines are written like a soapopera. This tvshow is basically a fantasy soapopera with Disney fairytale characters. That’s why I love this tvshow; it’s very exciting.

"I came to make sure you didn't hurt her" "Neal" "Emma, I got this" Emma and Neal: *Awkward silence* Waiting for Rumple to realize that they know each other.
holy sht i knew emma was with neal, but calling her rumple's daughter in law just sounds super weird lol, especially because rumple is like over 200 years old and emma's just 28
Yeah, Rumple's face at 1:53 was so full of emotions..you could see everything he was thinking and feeling in that moment from the desperation to reconnect with his son, discovering that Baelfire fathered a child with Emma, the realization that he's Henry's Grandfather and the shock of watching it all unfold right before his eyes. I think Rumple can sort of relate to Bae in that moment of discovery because even though Rumple knew he had a son, mistakes of the past cost him precious time with him.
What’s the irony of all this is that Gold put this whole curse thing in motion just to get back to Bae, and for 10 years he had his blood right there next to him. Even though Rumple is a menace, that prophecy was told to him about a child being his end, I still believe he would’ve watched over Henry if he knew. Possibly using him to get Bae back faster
Something else of note, right at the start of the scene... Gold's voice, when he's losing his shit? That's sounding an awful lot like his Enchanted Forest voice creeping back in. Which makes Neal's intervention even more meaningful.
0:02 ... I love when Gold's voice becomes distinctly Rumple, it's a brilliant character choice when he shows the darkness really reclaiming him (or showing its true colors). Eee!
The casting was amazing! Not just the talent but how they really all looked so much alike. You see Henry's face, his eyes and they are so like Emma's and Neal's and even Rumple's when he's in pain.
I loved this scene! It was so sad but put together so well ;) when neal found out henry was his son and henry found out his dad wasnt dead and mr gold was just standing their all awkward.. Wow
I totally agree with you! I love this scene and can show it ever and ever again. I love Neals reaction and acting very much: "Is this my son?" And I love Neal and I hope they would come together again and being a family.
Yeah I really don't see that happening, quite frankly what Neal did was jacked up on a level that if she ever forgave that, she should be nominated for sainthood.
Except everything a character does is jacked up in this show. She forgave him because it wasn't is fault, it was August's and if she knew it wasn't about her and Neal, it was about the curse. I liked how this scene was done. It was the perfect amount of drama. Often times, when people do scenes like this where a man finds out he has a kid, they either make it too sappy where tears form in his eyes and he looks at the kid in adoration 2 seconds after he finds out about it, or they make it to dramatic where he gets angry and yells or something. Usually its the sappy reaction though. Neal's reaction is amazing because you can really see how he wants to be angry yet he sees how logical Emma's decision not to tell him was. He's angry but you can see that he's angry mostly at himself.
Rumple: You're gonna tell me or I'm gonna make you tell me. Emma: You don't have magic here. Rumple: I don't need magic. Uhhh, yeah, you do! Without it you're just a middle aged man with a cane. Emma is a bada** women who took down a dragon and worked as a bounty hunter kicking butt. Looks like Rumple would be the one who needs the help because Emma would kick his butt.
It also wouldn't be hard for her to just snatch his cane. Emma, with or without magic, is a bada**. Rumple without magic needs his cane and without it he's useless. unless he has magic.
+Jo Charm I didn't think about it at the time, but I'm wondering if killing off Neal is OUAT's official "jump the shark" moment. It kind of feels like it.
I think they did jump the sharks with killing him. I like hook but the relationship between him and Emma is just weird. Hook was neal almost stepfather and now he is with Emma who is neal babymother.
+Jo Allen Not just weird, but basically dullness personified. I still watch the show, but almost ignore the Captain Swan scenes. They are virtually the only scenes that don't engage me on the series. Really a boring couple.
Best part in the whole episode! I love Neal's face when he realizes he has a son. I hope Rumple doesn't do anything to Henry. He needs to forget about what the seer said. Can't wait for the next episode to see what Rumple will say about having a grandson.
I always wondered who would've won the fight if Emma and Rumpelstiltskin were to go at it. I always thought Emma would've beaten rumpelstiltskin ass but then I saw what Rumpelstiltskin did to hook even when he had no magic and was limping and now, I really don't want to see this fight happen.
absolutely love this scene! my absolute favourite from the entire OUAT series!!!. ..however, did anyone notice how only in this particular scene Henry calls Emma "Mom," whereas all the other time he is calling her "Emma..."...to make the scene serve its purpose I guess...lol!
Lol the face Emma and Neal make he told her "he got this" shows they both know letting Rumple grasp they already knew each other had a huge probability of backfiring and they screwed up.
I have a theory about how Rumple found out before Bae about this in this scene : We already know that Rumple always was kinda friendly with Henry, it was the only time he was "truly" friendly and nice with someone in the town, without hiding his sympathy behind something, and it's not because it's a child, we've seen him behind far from nice with children, I mean it's Rumple after all, it's not because it's Regina's son either, he's not afraid at all of Regina especially not since she doesn't have her powers in Storybrooke at the beginning, it's because Henry always reminded him of Bae. Being the son of Neal/Bae, Henry has some of his features, and has the same light in the eyes, he also, during season 2 despised magic like Bae before him, that's why when Rumple said "how do you 2 know each other", Rumple clicked seeing Henry enter the room bc he already saw what he has from Baelfire before he even thought of living Storybrooke. That's just wow!
I noticed something this time that I had not before. The pained look on Rumple's face when Henry walks in. The realization that his boy had a boy of his own.....that he never knew about. Like a family curse, every son grows up without a father.

emma: yep, he was inside of me.
rumple: tmi, miss swan
I love the look on Emma's face right before that as if to say are you go na tell him or should I.
Stony Lobster I don't get it
they had sex
Hahahah
Sounds like Regina and Rumple's conversation. "Do I need to spell it out for you"
After all these years, this is still one of my favorite scenes
why ?
@@soixsantes it’s hillarious that’s why
This scene still gives me feels months later.
This scenes still gives me feels years later
Best scen ever. The actors are amazing... And Henry finally gets a father..this screams Emmy Award...
"ELEVEN... Now why is EVERYONE YELLING" XD Oh Henry 😂😂😂😂
one of the best scene of henry
and i love henry, he's one of my favorite characters.
One of my favorite scene ever in OUAT
What’s the irony of all this is that Gold put this whole curse thing in motion just to get back to Bae, and for 10 years he had his blood right there next to him. Even though Rumple is a menace, that prophecy was told to him about a child being his end, I still believe he would’ve watched over Henry if he knew. Possibly using him to get Bae back faster
“Is this my son..?”
“Yes.”
*Henry jumps out window*
Sorry i had to 😂
What a mood.
Rumple; "All I want is a chance to be heard"
Bae: "No"
Video ends. Brilliant!
1:22
LOL Gold is like "oh god, you've got to be kidding me." when henry shows up.
Even when Emma said “you don’t have magic here” you could hear the fear in her voice. That’s how terrifying Rumplestiltskin is even without magic
true, when he is in a world without magic, it's the fierce and screaming voice of rumple who is his weapon demonic.
and for me rumple is the most great villain of the series.
and I have a song from a movie for him
the swan princess 2 : You Gotta Love It
and if you are interested, I have other disney songs for other characters.
Something else of note, right at the start of the scene... Gold's voice, when he's losing his shit? That's sounding an awful lot like his Enchanted Forest voice creeping back in. Which makes Neal's intervention even more meaningful.
this is hands down the most epic scene in the whole series!! Everyone (except Emma) has their world turned upside down in that single moment
0:02 ... I love when Gold's voice becomes distinctly Rumple, it's a brilliant character choice when he shows the darkness really reclaiming him (or showing its true colors). Eee!
soooo sweet how neal still cares about emma after all these years love them so much together really a pity nothing has become between them
The best freaking episode ever
Best-acted scene this series has ever had.
This is absolutely the best show I have ever seen and im from Maine
I loved this episode and this scene made me cry!
Neal♥
1:25 rumple ah ha moment XD
ITS 2019 AND THIS IS STILL THE BEST SCENE OF OUAT EVER
When Emma and Neil said each other’s names they where like damnit we fucked uppppppp
I LOVE this scene, the whole thing is done so beautifully
Rumple: You're gonna tell me or I'm gonna make you tell me.
Emma: You don't have magic here.
Rumple: I don't need magic.
Uhhh, yeah, you do! Without it you're just a middle aged man with a cane. Emma is a bada** women who took down a dragon and worked as a bounty hunter kicking butt. Looks like Rumple would be the one who needs the help because Emma would kick his butt.
Well, yeah, but she had a sword. And a gun. Rumple's got the upper hand with the cane.
Madison Moore All she would have to do is snatch that scarf off of him.
It also wouldn't be hard for her to just snatch his cane. Emma, with or without magic, is a bada**. Rumple without magic needs his cane and without it he's useless. unless he has magic.
But he didn't magic to kill Pan either?
@@lazy_cloud1329 Yes he did, he summoned his shadow who brought Rumple his dagger that he used to commit murder-suicide on Pan and himself.
I LOVED Neal. I wish it would have been Neal, Emma and Henry who ended up together. Swanfire was the best.
me too i love swanfire forever, and if you are interested, I have an alternative version for swanfire at episode 2x06
I have been watching and rewatching these scenes for the last two weeks! I love them so much!
my fav episode from all of the series
ELEVEN!!!!
Niel, dramatically: he's eleven
😂
I loved Neal and Henry together. So cute.
Agreed. "How do you know each other?" and at Henry's apparition he seems to say "Oh. THAT's how."
Love how when Henry walks in rumple is like ahh that's how they know each other.
I miss niel he was awesome
Neal lol
OUAT was so tightly written in those early seasons, man
I was thinking about this scene so I decided to watch it again.
The original bae :3
Best scene of this episode.
I’m glad that Henry got to meet his dad and all but I feel so bad for Emma in this scene she didn’t deserve that
I stopped watching when neal died.
The show has lost its magic
+Jo Charm I didn't think about it at the time, but I'm wondering if killing off Neal is OUAT's official "jump the shark" moment. It kind of feels like it.
I think they did jump the sharks with killing him. I like hook but the relationship between him and Emma is just weird. Hook was neal almost stepfather and now he is with Emma who is neal babymother.
+Jo Allen Not just weird, but basically dullness personified. I still watch the show, but almost ignore the Captain Swan scenes. They are virtually the only scenes that don't engage me on the series. Really a boring couple.
+drlee2 fuck u!!
Castiel Winchester Thats something you'll never get to do, but thanks for the offer! Damn idiot..
That look on Rumple's face of "Oh ffs why'd you have to sleep with my son Emma?"
I love Neal.....lawd have mercy
Best part in the whole episode! I love Neal's face when he realizes he has a son. I hope Rumple doesn't do anything to Henry. He needs to forget about what the seer said. Can't wait for the next episode to see what Rumple will say about having a grandson.
I love how rumple knew as soon as henry started talking his face was like OMFG
I always wondered who would've won the fight if Emma and Rumpelstiltskin were to go at it. I always thought Emma would've beaten rumpelstiltskin ass but then I saw what Rumpelstiltskin did to hook even when he had no magic and was limping and now, I really don't want to see this fight happen.
Emma would have absolutely beaten his ass lol no contest.
WHY IS EVERYBODY YELLING?!?!
Story of my life kid...
Okay someone has to admit the name baelfire is freaking awesome
This scene always makes me cry omg I'm a mess
absolutely love this scene! my absolute favourite from the entire OUAT series!!!. ..however, did anyone notice how only in this particular scene Henry calls Emma "Mom," whereas all the other time he is calling her "Emma..."...to make the scene serve its purpose I guess...lol!
2022 and this is still peak television
The most dramatic and epic moment in Once Upon A Time. And the most beauthefull moment to!
Lol the face Emma and Neal make he told her "he got this" shows they both know letting Rumple grasp they already knew each other had a huge probability of backfiring and they screwed up.
true, and watch rumple at 1:23, he has immediately got his answer to his question when he at saw henry
I love how Emma and Neil have this 'oh crap, he's on to us, I'll lie if you look.' when rumple figures out that they know each other
one of the best moment in the series
Its been so so long. Im stull obsessed
I saw this coming since last season, but to finally see it...it's just really satisfying.
Love, LOVE this scene. So heartbreaking, poor Emma and Henry. Thank you for the upload :)
