I always have a magnetic bowl handy to keep all the screws and clips in.Nothing worse then trying to find bits and pieces. I also know by what you meant by fragile door trims.I am careful as when plastic ages it gets brittle and snaps/breaks easy making it hard to source a certain replacement part.
