Your video is very helpful. I had to remove the passenger side front door panel on our '02 Civic EX to fix a broken speaker mount bracket. Everything went just as you demonstrated except the door handle part. I couldn't figure out how to release the clip the way you did it (maybe mine's different?) but I discovered the whole door handle and its little mounting panel will slip right through the opening of the door panel if you angle it just right. Thanks a bunch. You saved me lots of hassle
Many thanks for this. I've got my panel nearly off (U.K. 2005 Civic) and was convinced that there wasn't a screw behind that little panel in the door opener recess - reckon I'd better check it again! I don't know, over 40 years in the motor trade - and still I'm learning........;-)

Thank you for your help! Although I own a coupe, this helped me replace my side mirror (the top front end of the panel curves up a bit). As the coupe door is a little different, I had to remove the whole arm rest to access the two middle screws. Keep up the good work!
Awesome thanks for the video, had to do this when my key lock cylinder fell inside the door.. pretty easy fix then when I was testing my windows after putting the door panel back on the driver rear window did not want to go up but went down turned out my battery was a little low. From leaving on the interior light on the night before, just started it got the RPM up and it was able to give the switch enough juice to roll up my rear window. Kind of weird if anyone else has that problem.
Can you tell me the name or part number for the piece of trim pulled off at the 45 sec mark of this video? mine was cracked and I am thinking about replacing it instead of gluing it. Thx!! this video did help a ton
Do u know if the sedan 01 to 05 door panels the front and passenger will fit on a 01 to 05 coupe?? Thank you. Also the center console i was going to change out but dont know what parts i can swap ? Thanks
FYI - be aware this video is not accurate for every 2005 honda civic!! soooo... I really love your how to videos - they have helped me out on just about everything I have needed to do on my vehicles with no issues... BUT, not so much for this one 😒 I have a 2005 honda civic, but your video here was not how the door panel on mine came off! close, but not completely accurate... there were two differences on my vehicle - first, (at about 0:42 secs) my little cover in the corner by the mirror has a factory installed tweeter in it, so it did not come all the way loose - I had to just leave it hanging there... and second, (at about 1:00 min) the piece under the window controller unit on my vehicle does not come off like how you show it! That piece on my vehicle will only come off by removing screws that are on the backside of the panel! On my vehicle I had to remove, and then disconnect, the window controller unit - only then could I access the two screws there and they were angled up to give easy access (I am not talking about the ones you can visually see there in your video, but the ones that you end up removing)... I am not trying to sound like I am complaining, just trying to give a heads up to anyone else who may have a similar situation to mine... you guys do great work - keep it up!! thanks!
@@liveandletlive2894 No but there may be crash sensors that could trigger the airbags elsewhere, and that could be really bad if bags hadn't been replaced under recall yet.
+Mr. Pritchard This video will show you how to remove the window crank, the rest of the door panel should come off the same way. Hope this helps you out ruclips.net/video/dnmPVf4KNcw/видео.html

+JACQUELYN Canlas You may have to remove the interior door panel so that you can reach inside of the door and pop it open. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com
+Ivan Soto You could try picking up some RTV (gasket maker) and use a little bit of that to help the seal stay in place. If you're unfamiliar with RTV, it's a sort of paste that comes in a tube which dries into a rubbery gasket. But it's really helpful for getting other gaskets to stay in place. Just don't use too much of it. Hope that helps you out! 1aauto.com 866-403-3393
dude, this video is 7 years old; you also should be able to infer to the differences ... you are looking for panels that come off, screws to unfasten, and popping off the panel from its plastic clips. This applies to pretty much any car in the past 40 years. Before the internet, yes, there was a time before dial-up modems even ... that we just looked at our cars and figured it out or some people bought a haynes manual (some a service manual). So, the process is pretty much the same, dude. good luck on your replacement of whatever you are looking to replace or fix on your coupe. Thank you... I have civic o4. Your videos are very helpful.
These vehicles were not equipped with air bags in the doors so there should be no fear of discharge during this install.
We currently do not carry them. You may want to see if you can find a decent one at your local salvage yard.
THANKS GOD I found The right tutotial!!! Thanks Guys!

Does anybody know what size speakers are under the doors?
I took off my door panel and a big piece of foam fell out that was stuck to the panel . How do i put it back on ?
