You have no idea how much time you saved me. Tinting my windows on my mercury and actually has the same exact color interior as yours and I thought I was gonna have to take the whole door panel off. A little bit of searching I find your video and you save me a lot of time.

You don’t have to take the handle part off either. Just take the plastic trim off the door then the two screws and pull gently but firmly on the outside part of the door and it gives you enough space to pull the sweep. Then soap the sweep and install

Very helpful video as always! I've found on some of these GMCs with the metal clips it helps to press the top of the metal clip with a bone tool or screwdriver and that releases the clip without having to yank hard on the door panel :)

Got a ‘23 gli for tints this weekend. Saw how high the top of the panels are and figured I’d have to drop the door panel to get the sweep out, because I’ve heard of that leather tearing issues on that small plastic clip. Thanks for saving me a lot of time!!

Tinted my car today….Today, that’s funny..started Friday afternoon and finished just the 4 side windows and quarter windows today (Sunday). I bet I went through 75’ of film. I’m great at cutting the film now!! Installing not so much. Been watching other videos for about 2 months now and figured I was ready. Definitely harder than it looks when being self taught. Today I watched your video on installing with no liner and had no problem!! Before, the liner was giving me fits with rolling it down most of the way and keeping it on. Would get the upper part of the film fine, but the last 2-3” gave me fit installing and then I would end up creasing the film and have to start all over…until I watched the install with no liner video! Thank you for helping save my sanity and giving me my confidence back!! Blessings to you!!

Referring to the anchors I’m reinstalling the light after a big tree branch crashed through my window. I noticed the metal anchors but on the light enclosure it self there are plastic anchors inside the slip clamp and the plastic anchors look as to have had adhesive on them. So now I have figure out how this goes together while working upside down 😢
