- This video is for the struggling christian. Burnout, doubts, concerns, and questions- that is scary for most of us! For the Christian who has walked through depression or feeling far from God, they can likely testify that feeling far away from God is one of the worst feelings you can have.
This can be especially confusing or frustrating for those of us who have established quiet time routines, prayer time, and intentional time with God. In this video, I give you guys 6 passages and phrases to help you through this difficult season! The acronym is H.A.N.D.L.E☺️.

I’ve been struggling being a “lukewarm” Christian, getting back into my old ways and wanting to get out of them, the enemy and thoughts just convincing me that I’m not saved, fears, worries, and just stressed out when thinking about the rapture, being honest about my past. Please keep me in your prayers.

Hi Nikki, I feel God wants to remind you that there is no such thing as being a little bit saved. You are wholly His child and need have no fear of being left behind in the rapture. Father, I thank you that you know and love Nikki. I ask you to give her confidence in you. Help her to let go and relax, knowing that you will catch her if she falls. Give her determination to spend time with you listening to your word. When fears arise give her the strength to stamd firm on The Rock, Jesus, who has promised that he never leaves us or forsakes us. I realize that when ever I start school or start going to school again I start drifting away from God I start becoming weaker in my spirit and more stressed scared and anxious and impatient, and I realized that that’s where I have to practice the Bible and put into action what God has taught me through His word and ppl .pls pray for me .

I will ask y'all to pray for me. I've been struggling for 6 months now with bipolar depression and constantly doubting if God is real. I am so thankful this video popped up for me! I was praying earlier today for God to get rid of all my doubts and I think this video helped! But I still ask y'all to keep me in your prayers. Thank you🙏
I also struggle with bi polar. The Lord is our Shepard (: please fellowship with other believers as I find it really helps us to see God in it all.

I am finishing out my middle school years this year and I feel so alone friendship-wise. I have a "best friend" but I feel like we are heading in different directions because I want more Christian friends, and she is wanting more friends in general. She is a Christian, but I don't feel like her actions are proving who she says she is. I definitely am not perfect, but I know that I am trying to become more of a daughter of God. My friend group is not the best, but I don't have anyone else. I have talked to my mom about it, and she says she went through the exact same thing when she was in middle/high school. I am praying for the other countless kids my age who are going through the same thing, and I really hope that y'all keep Christian teens in y'alls mind.

I have a genuine Christian friend who is looking for other guys to fellowship with cuz everyone else around him seems against him. Maybe you two could be friends because both of you seem to long for a Christ-centered friendship
I hace just read your comment, Im struggling right now with my relation with God, but Im trying to get close to him again, Im asking him for strengh, Im not perfect, but if you ever want someone to talk you can count on me, and i hope this message encourage you and if you have finished school and you feel like your friends are taking other directions, it will not affect you relation with God, eventually He will put the right people on your way so dont be afraid. I hope it makes sense…
I know exactly how you feel. I'll be moving away and starting college this year so I hope I find more Christian friends but yeah high school was a bit challenging just because I didn't have other believers around. Like everyone else who's offered, if you'd like to get in contact then just let me know. There are probably tons of communities online that you can look to join even if it's just online
This past year I’ve grown very distant from God & as a result my anxiety has increased immensely. I feel very far from God and have little or no motivation to be in the word. I’d be so grateful if any of y’all could pray for me & share some advice
I can relate to the anxiety I get that because I have this perfectionist Mindset which makes me think that I didn’t do anything the right way according to Gods standards. So advice for getting back in the word : 1.pray ask God to give you a strong desire to be in his word daily , ask him to restore your relationship with him. Be honest and confess what’s in your heart and ask him to help you stay committed to his word. 2. Set aside time to read your Bible for atleast an hour a day , read one chapter a day or pray and ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and understanding so you can understand what you are reading, and honestly don’t depend on your feelings your not going to always feel like reading your Bible. 3.Take notes and watch some
Videos on the chapter that you just read so you can understand and have a different view I suggest the Bible project ❤️❤️

My time spent and connections to my Christian communities has grown Though I don’t feel as close to God as I would like, I have grown much closer to him than I was 9 months ago. I really needed to hear this. If I was alone rn I would burst out in tears. I lost my fire for God and the purity of my faith. He saved me during COVID and I just don’t want to Lose God.

@@arpitjoseph9168 I have struggled with addiction. My freedom started as I learned to continue going to God even as I was succumbing to the temptation. I learned to continue to talk to Him even with my cigarette in hand. I heard two days ago that we approach God as He is not as we are. The more we spend time with God even while we’re engaging in the behaviour - which is clearly bothering you - the less we will desire it with time. My final freedom came when God used a dream to speak to me. I haven’t fallen off the wagon in 8 months because He empowered me through that dream to face the same temptation but not give in. There wasn’t any striving although I recognise that without God I am very vulnerable. But I’m never without Him so that’s moot. I first began to understand this when I listened to Travis Greene’s sermon on Keeping the main thing, the main thing. Highly highly highly recommend. Praying for your freedom and for you to feel clean. God is waiting to pour oil over your head. He loves you and delights in you.
Aw thank you for this 🧡 I’ve been struggling lately since I gave birth last month. I had a traumatic after birth experience and my daughter was in the NICU for 10 days and had surgery at 2 weeks old. I’ve felt so distant from God since then due to the intense grief I’ve experienced in the first 2 weeks of my daughter’s life.

For 5 years now all holidays have been extremely painful because my 4 adult daughters have all decided not to socialize with eachother ever again. They’ve all now gone totally to their in laws house for thanksgiving Christmas easter. I have felt neglected, sad angry for 5 years. I’m 70 and have always had family around me except these last 5 years. I have prayed like crazy done all I can do. So discouraged

Recently I’ve been struggling the hardest thing that I ever faced in my life and on top of that my old struggles that I faced in the past are slowly seeping into my life and it’s been so hard to live life because of it since I’ve been struggling with it for about 3 years

I'm actually struggling with insecurity. I'm always afraid of being judged and being made fun of and all kinds of other stuff. I ask that you could please pray for me because of my struggles and because I feel like I've been falling farther and farther from the Lord💔 I would love to have a stronger relationship with God but I feel like I haven't been spending as much time with him as I really should be, that's one of the main reasons for my disconnection. I pray for each and everyone of you that are struggling (and not struggling as well) or going through a tough time. God will be with you! You’re not alone… I struggle with some insecurities as well! Spending time on the Word during the morning, I find it very helpful. Because it helps me to mediate on what topic I’m reading about it. The devotional in the Bible plan explains what chapter is about for the Old and New Testament. It wasn’t easy for me to commit myself into reading the Bible in the morning from start to finish. I felt like I was distant from God because I was not devoting enough time in the word and just reading devotionals. I was avoiding reading in general… but it’s getting better. But I believe your relationship with God will be better. It will all take time. Little by little. I’m praying for you. 💖

I’m feeling far away as well. I had been praying so much for my future and my job and God blessed me with a job that’s amazing. And I feel so grateful and blessed, but I feel guilty because I haven’t been putting in the time for Him. It’s just a cycle of not putting in the time because I ‘feel’ too busy and then feeling guilty. But there should be no excuse! I can even put time for him in my commute or after work. Thank you for this video & thankful for God for reminding me through this video

I am struggling with our Christian Leaders (pastors and teachers) who are following man's mandates of closing GOD's houses, and Christians patronizing stores that require face coverings and totally forgetting about The BOOK", Psalm 91, particularly verse 10. Where is their faith. How can you win souls to the Kingdom when You are not showing GOD in your actions! I have not stepped into a store in almost 2 yrs. and counting.
Kecia, it is disheartening that spiritual leaders and those who are supposed to be the overseers of our souls aren't standing up in faith but cowering to the world's system. I hear ya and understand. I was heavily focused on this for a time and I was miserable and angry. The Holy Spirit gently led my focus back on Jesus and into my prayer closet and I have so much peace. We have to give it all to the Lord - even our disappointment in these so called "shepherds". The Lord will deal with them. He knows, He sees 👀! He has already given strong words to them. I received confirmation today from The Holy Ghost about this very thing, that He is all knowing and seeing because of the sentence the man satan used to end Mr Floyd's life received. He had His vengeance while showing His mercy to this hurting soul. I found myself thanking Him that this man can still be reached and brought into His Kingdom. Our Father is the BEST FATHER AND ONLY GOD EVER. We must press on because I am one of Gideon's 300. Being GOD'S yielded vessel is all there is. I will pray for you also. Blessings

Yesterday I went to a graveside service for my great grandmother & the pastors sermon was all about love. he told us what the Greek word for love was, agape! and you just said it in this video. wow. And thank you for this video. I’m going to write everything down, meditate on it, and act upon it.

Sometimes, we may think that God seems far away from us. But the truth is, we are the one who are far away from God. God is always with us because He is our Emmanuel.

I agree with all except the L. It is our job to keep our relationship with Him. He does not force Himself on us. We are to stay connected to Him...Stay in our Word and keeping our eyes on Him, the prize, and enduring the race. Let go of what isn’t ours to handle. Let go of what we have given to Him to help us with, but no, not letting go of our relationship with Him. How can you get closer to Him letting go?
Been having this really hard time just praying to God. I'm usually very open and casual about my problems, and I try to be as honest and vulnerable as I can be with Him. But this summer is a new season for me and I have this overwhelming feeling that keeps me from opening up so easily. Does anyone else experience this?

I do experience this from time to time. I’m usually open with others that I trust but sometimes I do not know what to say to God, mainly feeling insecure when it comes to opening up in prayer. To put it in a better way, I talk about issues with others instead of asking God. Which is a big mood and something I gotta work on. But I believe that things will get better when you acknowledge your flaws and meditate on the word of God little by little. Hopefully I brought some encouragement to you! 💖

I am currently experiencing this now, but a lot of my not opening up to God is due to the anxiety of being truthful with God. I don't know if this is your case, but for me, I was so afraid of opening up because I was afraid that if I did, he would demand something out of me or even punish me. However, we know that in Matthew 7 that God is willing to give us good gifts whenever we ask Him. I hope this encourages you to examine your heart and begin to understand what may be holding you back! :)
@@kaseyberryman850 same I used to be so vulnerable with God but my relationship with him became like a performance thing and then I feel anxiety/fear when I can’t do the things he asks and then I get scared to tell him what’s wrong , but I’m willing to take my time because it’s not a race we should enjoy the process of the relationship With God
You are right Taylor. We too come to that point where we pray and all and feel nothing. But yes, it's not all about our emotions. It's about the unchanging love of God for us. H.A.N.D.L.E would absolutely be of great help to me!

I am really struggling right now with my social life. I was abused growing up and have never been able to establish a dating relationship or any kind of emotional ties with people in a social setting. As I have gotten older my interest in dating has waned. I now know that I want to live by myself, and celibacy is a must. I need to heal alone despite years of counseling and interactions with other people. I am completely comfortable knowing that I will remain single and celibate for the rest of my life. Some things just aren't meant to be for some individuals!

I am most definitely going through a period of hardship in my relationship with God, mostly in learning to trust Him and let go of certain outcomes I want for myself even if they don't seem inherently bad. I pray for all others that are going through a similar season!
I feel like I'm losing my mind sometimes,I've gone through so many struggles.. I lost my baby,my career,job ...it drives me crazy... Jesus plz help me..give me the strength to bear all the pain..

Last week I had a summer camp, it was really good, I felt spiritually equipped and encouraged me. It's just the day before the camp I had gotten news my grandmother had started not to eat, she had been already really ill and wasn't feeling very good. Well when I got back home from my camp I found out the night my parents dropped me off my grandmother had pasted away. It was so heartbreaking because I haven't seen her in 5 years. Anyway the next day I had a camp mission trip, I had to clean bathrooms, cook food and fill up millions of water balloons. I just felt really distant and broken with pain. Then on the last night I felt encouraged by so many of my new friends and I felt the pain just wash away, I felt peace. I just want to encourage you, if you when through a lost in your family God will make a way to fill you with his love. He will always give you comfort when no one else will, he will stand by your side.
Pray that God will keep a handle on my coming n going. Cast out the demons pray for my neighbors at the stores n eateries. Prayer is so powerful. To uphold believers in unity of your Glory.... in JC God n Spirit's Holy Names Amen

I need this video! I had a rough point during lent where I went through a period where god felt far and it was so hard since it was a time where I wanted to be closer to God. I just feel like I need a private place somewhere in the middle of the stars so I can scream. This is so true!! I feel like when I wait for free time with God…it doesn’t help as I wake up to listening to music (some of the music is JPop or JRock)…My go-to Christian artists are: David Crowder Band, MercyMe and Mandisa and Jamie Grace and Francesca Battistelli…Keep Calm and Pray On!!^___^
