My husband’s Bible is a total mess, falling apart, full of folded up bits of paper😂😂. Mine, although admittedly a lot newer, is lovely and neat😉

So relatable 😂😂 My dad (when he was alive), kept his Bible in a disaster of notes, but they are so fun to go through, it's like I'm reading his presence in the form of messy annotations and highlighted scripture! And then my mom and I have everything so neat (I have a journaling Bible with lines so I can write my notes without making trains😂😂) ahaha!

Absolutely. 😭Ashley, your response is my response as well. Left alone, no one would seek God. Romans 3:10-13 states this. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit and God's amazing grace & mercy that we seek Him and want to know Him. We are forever dependent on the Lord - and it's ALL by His grace - no flesh will glory in His Presence - He deserves and receives ALL the glory!

The Lord has revealed His character in His Word. If we read the Bible, we'll know Him, and His gorgeous beauty, and we'll "taste and see that the Lord is good." I'm praying for you, my sister. And praying that by realizing the Father, Son, and Spirit's abundant and exceeding love for you, that you will be caused to praise Him in humility at the Lord's great, undeserved love for us. He has adopted us into His family, and has wrapped His arms around us, and calls us His children. And asking that we call Him, "Abba, Father." Thank you Father, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit. I like how you guys made a statement about how we need to pursue relationship and not allow our Christian journey to just be an intellectual exercise. I struggle with this personally alot because I'm a very analytical person, so I naturally try to make everything an intellectual exercise, yes even my relationship with my fiancé, but we need to move beyond that in relationships with others and with God most of all

Wow ! God's perfect timing ! This popped up tonight and it was just what I needed to hear. I'm a 60 something year old Grandma dealing with health challenges. I've felt myself getting discouraged and drifting from my Bible and Jesus time. Thank you for this wake up call. I gave my life to Jesus at 12 years old. Raised in church. Went on teen lay witness missions. Back then we had a saying we left with our groups. "Feel far from God ? Guess who moved ! " I know it hasn't been God,my Father ! Time to get back on track and love the Lord with all my heart !!! Thank you so much, from the bottom of my Grandma heart !!

I just finished praying and speaking out to God about things that have happened in my life this first half of the year and how I was praying to him but not focusing on God and His word! I started crying (like nose running, lol) listening to Johnny speak about God and his experience. For me, I pursued a job based on what I wanted not what God wanted for me. It's been an unpleasant experience. I got sick due to stress, and it was during that time that I realized how little I focused on God. I prayed for material things, not what God wants for me. I'm seeking better employment even if that means I'm without work for some time. I am so thankful for this video because it made me realize that when I focus on Him, he shall lead my path. Can you believe Proverbs 3:5-6 is my favorite scripture, YET I was too caught up in my wants that I lost focus of it. Wow! Again, thank you so much for this. It was greatly needed in my life.
Praise Jesus! He loves you, sees you, and wants to be your Good Shepherd who will lead you and guide you! :) but are you willing to follow Him wherever He may lead you? Remember - He is SO good!

I really enjoyed (+ needed) this! 🙌 I've seen several references recently in the bible about the 'whole heart' and been convicted to try harder to put the Lord first in every aspect of my life. This was super helpful (I love the Psalms because I can relate to them a lot!!!)

It's crazy amazing how even through videos, God has been speaking to me. Most of everything I've read has something to do with what I'm going through in my walk with Him. This video was such a blessing. It inspires my walk with Him. May God indeed, be my strength and source of all the things I need in order to fulfill my desire to wall with Him wholeheartedly with careful obedience and commitment to Him as His child and ambassador.

This was absolutely amazing. I love those 2 questions Johnny asks of himself. I think that we should all question that of ourselves, not to be shamed but be empowered by the ability to turn to repent and fall on our knees in complete submission. My prayer every day moving forward is that God would burn in me and refine those areas that aren’t holy and sanctified. His word is so good and I desire to have that sweetness and richness covering me. I love this channel keep being used by God and moved by the spirit 💕
