As a Christian, I always thought that just going to church, and praying every once in a while was enough. I came home from work one day, and having nothing to do, I wandered around my room and looked at the books on my shelf. I saw the Bible and thought to myself why I have never taken the time to read it. I made a commitment to start reading the Bible from the beginning and so far, it has been like taking the journey of a lifetime. I feel like God speaks to me when I read it. He tells me about his chosen people, he tells me how to be a better person, and he gives me advice on life in the books like in Proverbs. I am now reading the book of Isaiah and have learned so much. I can't wait to read all of it. I can't believe there are so many christians out there that don't read the Bible. I mean, what better way to know God that to read his word. Anyways, I am so happy to hear that there are people out there who also share in the gift that God gives to us from reading his word. Have a blessed day.
Let me share my motivation: When you are not in the Word you become Spiritually dry. Being "dry" is a bad place to be because you become open for demonic attack. In the Scripture we learn demons dwell in dry places! When I stay in the Word and prayer, I hear the Holy Spirit speak to me, I feel calmer, I am more patient. Things seem to go well and there is less drama in my life. So what lures me away from being in my " War Room" of prayer, praise and studying? I'll be honest. Tv and my phone. Its such an addiction!😕 I pick up my phone and before you know it, 2 hours are gone. And my day is off kilter. But this summer, I'm going to be fasting technology. I want God more than I want entertainment. Anyone with me??💁♀️
As someone with arguably no self discipline 😆 this was so hard to hear!! I’ve prayed so many times for my relationship with God to grow, just to say Amen and go back to Netflix/ anything else. I’ve never looked at growing my relationship with Him as being no different to a relationship with anybody else. I loved that particular analogy and can’t thank you enough for this video. ❤️
Something I love about Jesus is that He never changes... we can Always run back to Him... I thought during this virus with everything closing I would grow in my relationship with Christ. Instead, it has been the opposite. It had made me completely lazy. I haven’t read my Bible in weeks. I used to be on fire for Christ my fire has dwell down. I have no motivation because I spend so much time on RUclips and it takes my mind off of God. I will take a break from it. I try to spend more time with him. Please pray for me❤️

We tend to make God out to be a “feeling” so to speak. We don’t feel close to Him or when we read sometimes, etc.. our human nature goes against reading and praying. Sometimes are easier than others. But we have to fight our sinful human ways every day. It’s hard, but as you continue to flood your mind with His word, you have more of a desire to dig deeper into the word. The Bible comes to life. I posted "Jesus loves y'all" and an explanation of my faith. However, it soon got deleted and I got an email from my teacher stating that we shouldn't be sharing our faith publically and openly. However, this was my goal! This was my goal to share my faith unashamed of what others might think because Jesus is coming soon and the end times are near. This just comes to prove Matthew 5:11, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me." Don’t let them dim your light. God sees every moment that you choose to share His good news with others. We are blessed to have the freedom of speech and religion, where we are allowed to share our faith! Don’t let anyone take that away from you. Jesus loves you to the cross and back. I was thinking about how I want to be that perfect girlfriend and eventually wife for who the Lord has for me. Whenever you read 1 Corinthians 7, i felt conviction and realized i needed to focus more on my relationship with God rather than what I wanted to be. Thanks sis!
It’s totally normal to not have motivation for getting into His Word or praying. I feel like we all struggle with this especially when there are so many distractions in life. Here are things that help me when I don’t feel motivated to read the Bible or pray: ➡️ Starting in Psalms! If you have no words to pray start praying the Psalms out loud and let the words really soak in. ➡️ Ask people if you can pray for them and write a list of prayers for others to pray during prayer time. ➡️ If you don’t know where to read in the Bible ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what God wants you to read. ➡️ Pray and ask God to give you a thirst for His Word and a thirst to know Him better. ➡️ Write a list of the blessings God has given you and what you are grateful for. Remind yourself that these are times He has shown up in your life and it would be awesome to return the favor by spending quality time with Him! ☺️ Hope this list helps someone! These are things I do when I am feeling unmotivated to spend time with God!
those are great tips thanks! Distractions are the biggest problems for everyone I agree on that. I try and do my Bible reading time of a night night when my daughter is asleep... Prayer is my biggest issue right now.
When I don't feel "in the mood" to pray I start saying things I thankful for and it really changes my attitude! Just realizing how much I have how with God I don't need anything else. It's a great reminder
You go girl! While this may be difficult to hear, God has called us to CHASE after Him. "Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near" (Isaiah 55:6) SEEK! Go after Him and he will come to you! So encouraging!

I get up at 3:30-4am daily to have my quiet time it’s been amazing and my life has changed tremendously since 2010. Finding platforms like yours and other faith influencers is an added bonus that I listen to either on the way to work during normal days but even now as I work from home. Watched to the end.
Ma x no I don’t go back to sleep I’m already an early riser and we live on a small ranch with lots of animals. By 7:30 am I’ve done devotions, workout and fed the animals ready to start my work day. This has been a blessing getting my devotions done but as Ashley did recently I would love a full day of devotions can you imagine how free we would feel.

miks USA What the majority of people in this evil world fail to understand is that doctors, nurses and politicians are simply clueless about this Coronavirus nonsense and even most of your local preachers are misguided souls who are leading you astray. There is only one thing and one thing alone that will cause you to catch this virus and it is not sneezing, it is not close contact and wearing a face mask will definitely not protect you. Plus if you feel that you need to wear a face mask or to social distance then you will look like the fool that you most certainly are since it will clearly reveal that you are a sinner who does not even know God. All of these people are simply proving that they are ignorant about God and His commands since it is sin and sin alone that will cause you to be afflicted with this virus or any other disease, tragedy or disability. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. I no longer carry health care or insurance since I know without a doubt that I can never get sick ever again. I now simply laugh at the hysteria that has been caused by this Coronavirus and if it could be arranged, I would gladly sit in a room filled with people with the Coronavirus to prove what I am relating. I would gladly do this to awaken misguided believers to God’s Word and Truth. It would not bother me nor scare me in the least and I definitely would not wear a mask. For I am someone who has been sanctified in God’s truth so allow me to explain something that God related to us in the Old Testament. Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.” Now what this means. First transgressions, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. So this means that if you are someone who can get sick or someone who is currently suffering then you are a sinner who is not following God and you are simply following the devil lies. Now allow me to give you some scriptures from the New Testament with some things that Jesus related to us. “Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ” Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” John 5:8-14 NKJV Jesus said SIN NO MORE to the sick man that He healed. So if Jesus instructed the man to sin no more this then means that it is possible for a Christian to get to a place where he could not sin anymore? Next, Jesus and the apostles could heal every sick person who came to them, so why was this so? It was because there is no sickness with God, there never was and there never will be since sickness comes from sin and the devil. This means that not only was Jesus sinless but the apostles also reached a place where they were stopped sinning also. And please do not try and reason that Paul was someone who got sick as most misguided souls like to believe. If Jesus, Peter, Paul or any of the apostles could cast the sickness and demons out of everyone who came to them, what could possibly make anyone think that they themselves could ever get sick? Could they not just remove the sickness from themselves as they did with everyone else? Now let’s take sickness even a step further and look at the Paralytic man’s story as related to us in Mark 2. “But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” -He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” Mark 2:8-11 NKJV Jesus said, “Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? This scripture is relating to us that Jesus forgave the man’s sins and because He did, the man could now walk. So Jesus is clearly stating that it was the man’s sins that crippled him. So once again you have scripture clearly telling you that if you are someone who can get sick then it is because you are sinning by doing wicked things and you are not following God or His commands. So all of this proves that a Christian can get to a place where he does not sin anymore and if you are someone who can get sick then you are definitely no where near that place. Most believers fail to understand that Jesus restored everything that we had lost in the Garden of Eden. The reason that believers are not experiencing this blessing in their life is because they do not understand that it is possible to overcome sin or they simply do not believe it! “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:21 NKJV “And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:6-8 NKJV So in closing, these scriptures are relating to us that the person who overcomes sin will inherit all things but anyone who continues to live in sin will only take part in the lake of fire. So if you do not overcome sin then you will never experience a sick free life in this evil fallen world nor might you be spending your eternity in heaven as you so believe.
If you feel like your prayers aren’t being heard because of your sin. I really encourage you to take a look a Jesus. Remember what he’s done for you. He took your sins to the crossed and died for you!!! And not only did he die for you he risen up from the grave and buried your sin so you will free from sin and the guilt of it. In Jesus we have a new life and freedom from sin! That’s the beauty of Jesus and the gospel!! If you haven’t already I encourage you to go to him and repent for your sins! He welcomes you with open arms. He loves you! He wants you! That’s the good news!! God wants you have an relationship with him. He sent his only son to bear our judgement for us to have one!! Once you come to know Jesus he will transform your heart. You will want to seek him more and more and be in his word everyday. I encourage you to just start at reading the book of John. And if you have the Bible app do the daily devotional!! Peace to you! And God bless!

Thank you. I've been so inconsistent in reading my Bible and doing my prayer journal. Jesus felt so far away and I knew that was because of me. I've felt no motivation to do these things and I prayed yesterday for God to show me a sign for more motivation. Wow that's wonderful Something that I've been learning lately is that God doesn't want what we can do for Him or how much we read the Bible or prayer journal... He wants You... He loves you with an everlasting love. Yes, I hear you. I've not been feeling like doing these things either. But recently I've been talking to one my friends about Jesus, even invited her to zoom church and these conversations have inspired me to talk to God more throughout my day and learn about who He is so I can share Him with my friends who really need Him just like you and I do :) He loves me and you so much that He sent Jesus to be our Savior and Friend :) Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts honestly... I’m currently studying revelation which is a book I’ve avoided for a long time but I really feel it’s time to dive into it. I’ve already had so much revelation (pun not intended haha) from it and the Holy Spirit has really helped me fill the gaps of missing knowledge that I had when I first read it. I definitely agree that sometimes you just have to dive into the word and you have to be disciplined

I’ve grown up on the church, but I have never really read my Bible other than at church. I didn’t even really have a relationship with him. Your videos have really made me realize the importance of reading your bible and growing in your relationship with God.

I am a wife and mom of two under 4 and my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing/time of day is waking up early and reading my Bible! It gives me so much peace and changes my mood through the day. I remember when waking up and reading my Bible felt like a chore, but now I can’t wait for morning. I also struggle with prayer and find it hard to fit prayer and reading into other parts of my day. I’m going to have to print out the goals chart and set a goal for other reading and prayer time. 🙂

Something I learned in one of my old churches is "Desire, devotion, delight". The fact that you have the desire to spend more time with God, in prayer and the Word IS A GREAT THING!! So praise God for that desire! Then devote yourself and pray simple prayers asking God to help your faithfulness and devotion to Him, to help you read His word and when you continue to do that, it will turn into delight! You can also pray for that delight! Never be ashamed to ask God for things like that. He's not disappointed but delighted that you want to spend more time with Him! Go and be encouraged! God bless!! Also what I mean by "simple prayers" is just that they don't have to be extra long and fancy! Like sometimes I just say "God, I'm really struggling with prayer, please teach me how to pray and how to be devoted to you more and more. In Jesus name, Amen! ❤️🤗

Ever since I’ve found you, I’ve bought a new bible and a few bible plans, and I’ve been shopping on the Daily Grace Co. more than I’ve been shopping for clothes or other needs. I’ve also started a bible study with my best friend and her family and every weekday @8:30 we’ve been taking time to spend time with God and grow in our faith together. This honestly couldn’t have happened without you and I thank you because my faith has never been this strong! Thank you, thank you, thank you, and may God bless you’re family.
I did watch until the end Ashley Despite all my flaws Jesus saved me last summer. And He started by introducing me ways to get into Scripture and to connect with it - the first thing He used was your channel and the Bible studies you do by video, I started taking notes myself, praying more sincerely and God started changing my life to the better. He changed someone who was afraid of change and that change was what gave me the new and bright perspective I needed of life, of friends, family, myself and specially of Himself. He Is A Present God and He cares about all that we do and that we worry about, He Is God of the big things and of the small things. Talk to Him and open your heart to His doing, and His Will. You'll see the difference

The bible says we have to die to self and I think that is one of the reasons a lot of us maybe struggling, we spend too much time feeding our flesh. This walk ain't easy but thank You Lord that you are able to give us a new fervent desire to seek you in prayer, fasting and diving into the word. Lord I pray that you would give us all a fervent desire to humble ourselves and to seek your face in this current pandemic. Let us taste of of the Lord and see that He is good.Lord please help us to change and be sons and daughters after Your own heart in Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.
I found that the more reluctant I am to pray, join the prayer meeting or read my bible, the more I actually need it. And every single time I get over myself and do it... I come out greatly blessed. I have not once regretted to have spent time with the Lord.

Praise the LORD, I believe he’s trying to get my attention because he has put it in my heart to come to him and I’ve ignored him, but then I decided this morning I need to get back to him, and then I came on here to watch a sermon (which I didn’t want to do) and then I saw your video. Thank you for this reality check. I started losing my fire for the lord a few months ago and I guess like everything positive. It takes discipline.

as a mentally ill person i know completely how difficult bible studying and prayer can be. i continued to struggle but i struggle alongside God. I’ve found that a lot of the other ways people bible study and pray don’t really work for me and that’s okay. The way I bible study and pray changes almost every single day. Some days it’s the first thing I do when I wake up and others I get breakfast and do my skincare before I can even think about it. Some days I sit down to pray at night and fall STRAIGHT asleep so I end up praying before I shower or sometimes as I shower. At my worst I’m stuck and just don’t know where to begin so I say “God, I’m really struggling right now, please help me motivate myself, know that I am thinking of You and my life if Yours” and just have to leave it at that. God is FLEXIBLE. Go at your own pace on your own time.
Hi , You can only go to heaven if you believe and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your lord and saviour. Who die for your remission of sin .. I also highly recommend water Baptism
From my experience I've had close Christian friends and they're so kind to me they always have my back and treat me like I'm their brothers and sisters they offer me food and are welcoming regardless of my background i know it's not really relevant but I thought I'd just tell you my personal experiences

I too have had this sudden feeling to just dive into the Word and dedicate myself to the Lord this summer! I have been doing a devotional daily, and on top of that I just decided to start at page one and just go through the entire Old Testament during quarantine. This was so good and you shared such good advice. This channel always inspires me to keep going.

My motivation: he makes me happy, literally. I'm very easy to get depressed and a sense of unhappiness. This quarantine has given me the opportunity to praise the Lord; at first, I feared he would come and not be ready and second because I was so stressed. Which makes me unhappy and depressed, therefore, I knew I needed him more than ever. So, I started praying and now Its becoming a need. Yes its hard at times but then I remind myself when I don't pray, I don't feel happy. Pray until the holy spirit touches and fills you up with strength and happiness. God bless.
Yes, we must deny/sacrifice our wants/needs for our Heavenly Father. Little by little those (earthly) desires will no longer be there and you will find yourself more in His word and His arm. He has done so much for us and He is worthy to be praised, glorified and prayed to. He loves you.
For a really long time i struggled with my relationship with God because i claimed to be a believer and yet i wasn’t demonstrating my love for God in my actions and my words. I felt so detached from God and it made me so saddened because i was missing the most important thing in my life and i almost felt scared to reach out to God again knowing that i wasn’t a “good enough” christian. Videos like these as well as endless prayer and bible study helps me re-grow that relationship with him that i love having so much and i finally feel like my complete self again. The love of God is one of the best things ever!
As a Christian, I always thought that just going to church, and praying every once in a while was enough. I came home from work one day, and having nothing to do, I wandered around my room and looked at the books on my shelf. I saw the Bible and thought to myself why I have never taken the time to read it. I made a commitment to start reading the Bible from the beginning and so far, it has been like taking the journey of a lifetime. I feel like God speaks to me when I read it. He tells me about his chosen people, he tells me how to be a better person, and he gives me advice on life in the books like in Proverbs. I am now reading the book of Isaiah and have learned so much. I can't wait to read all of it. I can't believe there are so many christians out there that don't read the Bible. I mean, what better way to know God that to read his word. Anyways, I am so happy to hear that there are people out there who also share in the gift that God gives to us from reading his word. Have a blessed day.

Let me share my motivation: When you are not in the Word you become Spiritually dry. Being "dry" is a bad place to be because you become open for demonic attack. In the Scripture we learn demons dwell in dry places! When I stay in the Word and prayer, I hear the Holy Spirit speak to me, I feel calmer, I am more patient.
Things seem to go well and there is less drama in my life.
So what lures me away from being in my " War Room" of prayer, praise and studying? I'll be honest. Tv and my phone. Its such an addiction!😕 I pick up my phone and before you know it, 2 hours are gone. And my day is off kilter. But this summer, I'm going to be fasting technology. I want God more than I want entertainment.

As someone with arguably no self discipline 😆 this was so hard to hear!! I’ve prayed so many times for my relationship with God to grow, just to say Amen and go back to Netflix/ anything else. I’ve never looked at growing my relationship with Him as being no different to a relationship with anybody else. I loved that particular analogy and can’t thank you enough for this video. ❤️

I thought during this virus with everything closing I would grow in my relationship with Christ. Instead, it has been the opposite. It had made me completely lazy. I haven’t read my Bible in weeks. I used to be on fire for Christ my fire has dwell down. I have no motivation because I spend so much time on RUclips and it takes my mind off of God. I will take a break from it. I try to spend more time with him. Please pray for me❤️

We tend to make God out to be a “feeling” so to speak. We don’t feel close to Him or when we read sometimes, etc.. our human nature goes against reading and praying. Sometimes are easier than others. But we have to fight our sinful human ways every day. It’s hard, but as you continue to flood your mind with His word, you have more of a desire to dig deeper into the word. The Bible comes to life. Great video! A lot of people struggle with this! ❤️

I just got devastating news. I posted "Jesus loves y'all" and an explanation of my faith. However, it soon got deleted and I got an email from my teacher stating that we shouldn't be sharing our faith publically and openly. However, this was my goal! This was my goal to share my faith unashamed of what others might think because Jesus is coming soon and the end times are near. This just comes to prove Matthew 5:11, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me." Please pray for this generation of Christians, we will not go silent.

It’s totally normal to not have motivation for getting into His Word or praying. I feel like we all struggle with this especially when there are so many distractions in life.
Here are things that help me when I don’t feel motivated to read the Bible or pray:
➡️ Starting in Psalms! If you have no words to pray start praying the Psalms out loud and let the words really soak in.
➡️ Ask people if you can pray for them and write a list of prayers for others to pray during prayer time.
➡️ If you don’t know where to read in the Bible ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what God wants you to read.
➡️ Pray and ask God to give you a thirst for His Word and a thirst to know Him better.
➡️ Write a list of the blessings God has given you and what you are grateful for. Remind yourself that these are times He has shown up in your life and it would be awesome to return the favor by spending quality time with Him! ☺️
Hope this list helps someone! These are things I do when I am feeling unmotivated to spend time with God!

Distractions are the biggest problems for everyone I agree on that. I try and do my Bible reading time of a night night when my daughter is asleep... Prayer is my biggest issue right now.
When I don't feel "in the mood" to pray I start saying things I thankful for and it really changes my attitude! Just realizing how much I have how with God I don't need anything else. It's a great reminder

Ma x no I don’t go back to sleep I’m already an early riser and we live on a small ranch with lots of animals. By 7:30 am I’ve done devotions, workout and fed the animals ready to start my work day. This has been a blessing getting my devotions done but as Ashley did recently I would love a full day of devotions can you imagine how free we would feel.
Having a real struggle for years now. I feel my Prayers are not being heard coz of my sin. Bible Reading becomes a textbook readg. I just stumbled upon your channel and energized whenever you read into the Word w/c i beg God to give me also that passion. I want to experience Him in my life.

miks USA What the majority of people in this evil world fail to understand is that doctors, nurses and politicians are simply clueless about this Coronavirus nonsense and even most of your local preachers are misguided souls who are leading you astray. There is only one thing and one thing alone that will cause you to catch this virus and it is not sneezing, it is not close contact and wearing a face mask will definitely not protect you. Plus if you feel that you need to wear a face mask or to social distance then you will look like the fool that you most certainly are since it will clearly reveal that you are a sinner who does not even know God. All of these people are simply proving that they are ignorant about God and His commands since it is sin and sin alone that will cause you to be afflicted with this virus or any other disease, tragedy or disability.

Because I put my complete faith and trust in God and not in doctors or this evil world, Jesus taught me how to overcome sin which means that I also overcame sickness. I no longer carry health care or insurance since I know without a doubt that I can never get sick ever again. I now simply laugh at the hysteria that has been caused by this Coronavirus and if it could be arranged, I would gladly sit in a room filled with people with the Coronavirus to prove what I am relating. I would gladly do this to awaken misguided believers to God’s Word and Truth. It would not bother me nor scare me in the least and I definitely would not wear a mask. For I am someone who has been sanctified in God’s truth so allow me to explain something that God related to us in the Old Testament.
Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.”
Now what this means. First transgressions, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. So this means that if you are someone who can get sick or someone who is currently suffering then you are a sinner who is not following God and you are simply following the devil lies.
Now allow me to give you some scriptures from the New Testament with some things that Jesus related to us.
“Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ” Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
John 5:8-14 NKJV
Jesus said SIN NO MORE to the sick man that He healed. So if Jesus instructed the man to sin no more this then means that it is possible for a Christian to get to a place where he could not sin anymore? Next, Jesus and the apostles could heal every sick person who came to them, so why was this so? It was because there is no sickness with God, there never was and there never will be since sickness comes from sin and the devil. This means that not only was Jesus sinless but the apostles also reached a place where they were stopped sinning also. And please do not try and reason that Paul was someone who got sick as most misguided souls like to believe. If Jesus, Peter, Paul or any of the apostles could cast the sickness and demons out of everyone who came to them, what could possibly make anyone think that they themselves could ever get sick? Could they not just remove the sickness from themselves as they did with everyone else? Now let’s take sickness even a step further and look at the Paralytic man’s story as related to us in Mark 2.
“But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” -He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
Mark 2:8-11 NKJV
Jesus said, “Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? This scripture is relating to us that Jesus forgave the man’s sins and because He did, the man could now walk. So Jesus is clearly stating that it was the man’s sins that crippled him. So once again you have scripture clearly telling you that if you are someone who can get sick then it is because you are sinning by doing wicked things and you are not following God or His commands.
So all of this proves that a Christian can get to a place where he does not sin anymore and if you are someone who can get sick then you are definitely no where near that place. Most believers fail to understand that Jesus restored everything that we had lost in the Garden of Eden. The reason that believers are not experiencing this blessing in their life is because they do not understand that it is possible to overcome sin or they simply do not believe it!
“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”
Revelation 3:21 NKJV
“And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:6-8 NKJV
So in closing, these scriptures are relating to us that the person who overcomes sin will inherit all things but anyone who continues to live in sin will only take part in the lake of fire. So if you do not overcome sin then you will never experience a sick free life in this evil fallen world nor might you be spending your eternity in heaven as you so believe.
If you feel like your prayers aren’t being heard because of your sin. I really encourage you to take a look a Jesus. Remember what he’s done for you. He took your sins to the crossed and died for you!!! And not only did he die for you he risen up from the grave and buried your sin so you will free from sin and the guilt of it. In Jesus we have a new life and freedom from sin! That’s the beauty of Jesus and the gospel!! If you haven’t already I encourage you to go to him and repent for your sins! He welcomes you with open arms. He loves you! He wants you! That’s the good news!! God wants you have an relationship with him. He sent his only son to bear our judgement for us to have one!! Once you come to know Jesus he will transform your heart. You will want to seek him more and more and be in his word everyday. I encourage you to just start at reading the book of John. And if you have the Bible app do the daily devotional!! Peace to you! And God bless!

In my former years, I’ve been a fitness trainer. My husband a trainer for over 12 years. Spiritual discipline is not much different from physical fitness 😂. It takes intention habits to build muscles and a strong heart. Our walk with the Lord is the same. ❤️ Go ahead and give us the real truth! Lol

Thank you. I've been so inconsistent in reading my Bible and doing my prayer journal. Jesus felt so far away and I knew that was because of me. I've felt no motivation to do these things and I prayed yesterday for God to show me a sign for more motivation. A sign to show me it does take discipline and my relationship with Him won't just grow magically. And today, this video showed up on my recommended. It's crazy how our God works. I'm motivated to continue my relationship with Jesus Christ. Again, thank you sooo much!!!

Something that I've been learning lately is that God doesn't want what we can do for Him or how much we read the Bible or prayer journal... He wants You... He loves you with an everlasting love. Yes, I hear you. I've not been feeling like doing these things either. But recently I've been talking to one my friends about Jesus, even invited her to zoom church and these conversations have inspired me to talk to God more throughout my day and learn about who He is so I can share Him with my friends who really need Him just like you and I do :)
He loves me and you so much that He sent Jesus to be our Savior and Friend :)

I’m currently studying revelation which is a book I’ve avoided for a long time but I really feel it’s time to dive into it. I’ve already had so much revelation (pun not intended haha) from it and the Holy Spirit has really helped me fill the gaps of missing knowledge that I had when I first read it. I’ve grown up on the church, but I have never really read my Bible other than at church. I didn’t even really have a relationship with him. Your videos have really made me realize the importance of reading your bible and growing in your relationship with God.
Same I was born in a Christian family but was never truly devoted because I was ashamed or scared I was small but thankfully with time I matured that gods words truly enter me

I am a wife and mom of two under 4 and my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing/time of day is waking up early and reading my Bible! It gives me so much peace and changes my mood through the day. I remember when waking up and reading my Bible felt like a chore, but now I can’t wait for morning. I also struggle with prayer and find it hard to fit prayer and reading into other parts of my day. I’m going to have to print out the goals chart and set a goal for other reading and prayer time. 🙂

Something I learned in one of my old churches is "Desire, devotion, delight". The fact that you have the desire to spend more time with God, in prayer and the Word IS A GREAT THING!! So praise God for that desire! Then devote yourself and pray simple prayers asking God to help your faithfulness and devotion to Him, to help you read His word and when you continue to do that, it will turn into delight! You can also pray for that delight! Never be ashamed to ask God for things like that. He's not disappointed but delighted that you want to spend more time with Him! Go and be encouraged! God bless!!
Also what I mean by "simple prayers" is just that they don't have to be extra long and fancy! Like sometimes I just say "God, I'm really struggling with prayer, please teach me how to pray and how to be devoted to you more and more. In Jesus name, Amen!

Despite all my flaws Jesus saved me last summer. And He started by introducing me ways to get into Scripture and to connect with it - the first thing He used was your channel and the Bible studies you do by video, I started taking notes myself, praying more sincerely and God started changing my life to the better. He changed someone who was afraid of change and that change was what gave me the new and bright perspective I needed of life, of friends, family, myself and specially of Himself. He Is A Present God and He cares about all that we do and that we worry about, He Is God of the big things and of the small things. Talk to Him and open your heart to His doing, and His Will. You'll see the difference

The bible says we have to die to self and I think that is one of the reasons a lot of us maybe struggling, we spend too much time feeding our flesh. This walk ain't easy but thank You Lord that you are able to give us a new fervent desire to seek you in prayer, fasting and diving into the word. Lord I pray that you would give us all a fervent desire to humble ourselves and to seek your face in this current pandemic. I found that the more reluctant I am to pray, join the prayer meeting or read my bible, the more I actually need it. And every single time I get over myself and do it... I come out greatly blessed. I have not once regretted to have spent time with the Lord.

Wow 😹 when you said “summer goals list” at the beginning of the vid I just finished writing the title to my own list “summer 2020 goals” haha how weird! I am planning on writing my list while listening to your video :) I’ll take that as a sign it’s a good thing to make this list 😹
as a mentally ill person i know completely how difficult bible studying and prayer can be. i continued to struggle but i struggle alongside God. I’ve found that a lot of the other ways people bible study and pray don’t really work for me and that’s okay. The way I bible study and pray changes almost every single day. Some days it’s the first thing I do when I wake up and others I get breakfast and do my skincare before I can even think about it. Some days I sit down to pray at night and fall STRAIGHT asleep so I end up praying before I shower or sometimes as I shower. At my worst I’m stuck and just don’t know where to begin so I say “God, I’m really struggling right now, please help me motivate myself, know that I am thinking of You and my life if Yours” and just have to leave it at that. God is FLEXIBLE. Go at your own pace on your own time.

I too have had this sudden feeling to just dive into the Word and dedicate myself to the Lord this summer! I have been doing a devotional daily, and on top of that I just decided to start at page one and just go through the entire Old Testament during quarantine. This was so good and you shared such good advice. This channel always inspires me to keep going.

My motivation: he makes me happy, literally. I'm very easy to get depressed and a sense of unhappiness. This quarantine has given me the opportunity to praise the Lord; at first, I feared he would come and not be ready and second because I was so stressed. Which makes me unhappy and depressed, therefore, I knew I needed him more than ever. So, I started praying and now Its becoming a need. Yes its hard at times but then I remind myself when I don't pray, I don't feel happy. Pray until the holy spirit touches and fills you up with strength and happiness. God bless.

Yes, we must deny/sacrifice our wants/needs for our Heavenly Father. Little by little those (earthly) desires will no longer be there and you will find yourself more in His word and His arm. He has done so much for us and He is worthy to be praised, glorified and prayed to. He loves you.
For a really long time i struggled with my relationship with God because i claimed to be a believer and yet i wasn’t demonstrating my love for God in my actions and my words. I felt so detached from God and it made me so saddened because i was missing the most important thing in my life and i almost felt scared to reach out to God again knowing that i wasn’t a “good enough” christian. Videos like these as well as endless prayer and bible study helps me re-grow that relationship with him that i love having so much and i finally feel like my complete self again. The love of God is one of the best things ever!
