I realise that I am so pessimistic, worry so much and say so many negative things about myself (and others...) that I wonder when people look at me do they see Christ in me or they think I am not even a christian... I want to be a better representative of the body of Christ... So I want to work up my quiet time. Thank you for this video, it really inspires me ☺️

Oh this is crazy for about a month I've been waking up almost every morning at 5 I look at the clock see what time it is and go back to sleep I know somewhere in my heart that God's waking me up to read.

My days have been full.. with work, chores, serving in church.. I felt God speaking to me through this video. I’ve been struggling with a dry quiet time lately and I recently began running an online Christian ministry. This has opened my eyes to the fact that I can’t neglect feeding myself from the word if I want to minister to others. Thank you, God, for reminding me of something so fundamental to my walk with you!
When I wake up early in the morning I’m not distracted by anything, no ones awake, nothings happening, it’s beautiful and peaceful outside, and for me at least, I feel closer to God! Normally we put our quiet time away because we have to do something else or “we don’t have time,” But what we don’t realize sometimes is that when we put God FIRST, he does the rest. Tip for people wanting to get up early....get the Alarmy app. I have to run to my kitchen and scan a barcode before my alarm will go off. It has different things you can do like math, etc etc. it’s been very helpful at helping me get my butt out of bed so early.

Mid afternoon is my quiet time. I've finished my morning housework and chores and I can really get into the word. In the morning I just keep thinking of everything I need to do. I think it's whatever works for you. I got up early (4:30 AM) for years when I was working. Retirement has totally changed me. I'm much more relaxed so I can enjoy my Bible study and prayer time without putting pressure on myself and thinking about what I should be doing. I think your idea is very good though.
Prayer has gives me alot of peace.There’s this feeling that I have and I can’t really explain it but I know it’s not from God.And when I pray that feeling goes away and I’m just focused on God.For God is not the author of confusion but of peace.God bless
