I feel guilty when im spending time with God, always thinking about everything else I have to do. I struggle so badly with prayer. But as you were speaking I pictured Mary Magdalene sitting at the feet of Jesus soakinhg in every Word He spoke while Marth missed out on so much because she was so busy. We shouldnt feel guilty at all spending time with our Savour x
Something that has really helped me is talking to God throughout my day. Literally just talking to him about anything. Could just be words of gratitude, praying for random people you see in public, asking God to show you ways you can bless someone or even expressing something that has upset you etc. The more you talk to him like you would talk to a friend, the easier it becomes to sit in quiet time and pray. The more your relationship grows with a person, the more comfortable you feel to have long and deep chats. The same goes for God. I hope that helps ❤️
Hi!... I was just going through the comments.. And I saw the word Guilt... I heard a message a year ago from Pastor Vlad about not feeling guilt but shame.. For eg.. when you dont speak to your loved one for a day you dont feel guilt you feel shame.. Does the make sense?? Idk.. I would reccomend the message Secret place (part 1).. I have the same problem, when I'm pray I thing about milions different things and sometimes I realised that after a long time. Then I feel more angry than guilty for myself because I'm sure that I can focus better on God.

I am. But i am doing that for quite some time now. I think since the video where Ashley and her dad are canooïng on the lake. I realy like to see nature wake and hear the birds singing. Also the neighbourhood is still sound a sleep. Good circumstances to get in the bible. It is impossible for me to get quiet if my surroundings are noisy. Also, in the morning my mind is more rested and i can concentrate better.
Thea G Yeah l totally was going to wake up early but l couldn’t hear my alarms and usually l can. I love nature and God’s beautiful, wonderful, etc. Creation. I would go on walks but l feel kind of sketched out where l live! We live on a great street but there r some sketchy apartments in the next neighborhood that is close to me. I know that can’t and isn’t an excuse l will go on walks with my fam tho! I am the same with noise. I have to be in a quiet peaceful place in order to concentrate!
@@bakegirl45 I normly wake early, and while the world is still asleep have my quiet time with the Lord. If for some reason I wake up later, it's all okay, and I find another time slot. I feel that waking up earlier does set the stage for my day. It calms my inner being and have beautiful outcomes!

I love how she says that your routine doesn't need to be one way or even in the morning but when you can make the time and whether it's an hour or three hour routine, it's yours. I think that was a really good thing to say because a lot of times when we see these videos, it's scary to see three hour routine and know you can't do in your schedule and so I just love how she said that. I also like that you can incorporate one step or two or all three so yeah amazing video Ashley!

Hey! I'm a night owl, too! :) my quiet time routine usually starts at 11PM and ends at 2AM. Then in the morning, since I wake up around lunch time, I just read this book called Bedside Blessings by Chuck Swindoll. It's a tiny book with a short commentary and a verse to remember each day of the year. After that I say a short prayer and kickstart my day! Hope this helps 😊

I actually got up early the other week and went to my local woods and sat by my local pond and I read my Bible. It was the best thing I have done in ages because it made me feel so peaceful and full. Love you guys! God has got you through whatever you’re going through! God bless you guys❤️

This helps me a lot for my routine with my relationship with God, because today I deleted TikTok because i felt like it was taking over my life made me feel insecure and was stopping my relationship with Christ!! It was very distracting so now i dont have it anymore and i felt free and peaceful back to God more

Instead of going back to bed with the baby I got up and had morning quiet time which I haven't done in a very long time. I read and meditated on Psalms 25-27 and it was so amazing. I can't believe I waited so long to do morning quiet time. I feel refreshed, positive, and hopeful. And I feel His presence so close. One night about five years ago right before bedtime I was sitting on the edge of my bed praying, and as I was finishing up praying I asked the Lord to please send the end-time outpouring of the Holy Spirit. As soon as I said it he spoke to me in my spirit and said "Many of my people are praying and asking me to send renewal. But when the outpouring of the Holy Spirit comes they aren't going to like it." He didn't say anything else, but he later gave it to me to understand that there are several reasons why they aren't going to like it, the first one being that it will be so unfathomably powerful that it will be so unlike the sweetsie-sweet and nicie-nice watered down and powerless parody of Christianity they've been being acclimated to for their whole lives long that they'll be afraid of it and many of them will reject it. Also because one of the major ingredients in the outpouring will be the baptism of fire which the Lord will use to dislodge people from their beloved idols, deceptions, and mediocre do-gooder agendas, and to clean them up morally, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, which will be quite painful to many people. Also because the outpouring will expose where everyone is at spiritually, and most Christians want none of that. The end-time outpouring of the Holy Spirit will no doubt be many times more powerful than any previous outpouring (or maybe as powerful as all of the previous outpourings put together). I think the end-time outpouring of the Holy Spirit is going to be the second most important event in human history, second to the Lord's sacrifice on the cross for the sins of mankind, followed by his burial, resurrection, and ascension into heaven. I think the end-time outpouring (aka the "Latter Rain Outpouring of the Holy Spirit") will dwarf the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost 2,000 years ago (aka the "Former Rain Outpouring of the Holy Spirit"), because that outpouring was the birth of the Lord's church, whereas the end-time outpouring will prepare the Lord's church for her marriage to him. Plus it will usher souls to salvation in numbers unlike anything anyone ever imagined (per Hosea 6:3, Joel 2:23, Matthew 24:14, James 5:7, and Revelation 14:14-16, all in the King James Version). Plus it will strengthen those who stay with it to be able to endure the end-time persecution which the kingdom of darkness will roll out in retaliation against the outpouring, as is foretold in numerous verses of scripture (e.g. Daniel 11:33-35, Daniel 12:1-7, Matthew 24:9, Matthew 24:21-22, Revelation 6:9-11, and Revelation 13:7). However, the persecution will be so severe that many who were blessed by the end-time outpouring and who were strengthened by it won't be able to endure the persecution and will fall away (as the Holy Spirit speaking through the Apostle Paul foretold in 2 Thessalonians 2:3), so that those who endure to the end will be those who loved not their lives unto death (per Revelation 12:11). If you look around in the comments to the myriad of mundane religious videos on RUclips you'll see lots and lots of comments saying "I'm ready to go home." Not only do they not realize how incredibly selfish that attitude is, if most of them had any idea how un-ready they are to 'go home' they'd be appalled at themselves. When the end-time outpouring finally comes we're all going to find out just how un-ready we really are. The good news is that the Lord will use the outpouring to make us ready to go home (per Ephesians 5:27), painful as the process may be. This is the way I think it's all going to play out anyway.

One night about five years ago right before bedtime I was sitting on the edge of my bed praying, and as I was finishing up praying I asked the Lord to please send the end-time outpouring of the Holy Spirit. As soon as I said it he spoke to me in my spirit and said "Many of my people are praying and asking me to send renewal. But when the outpouring of the Holy Spirit comes they aren't going to like it." He didn't say anything else, but he later gave it to me to understand that there are several reasons why they aren't going to like it, the first one being that it will be so unfathomably powerful that it will be so unlike the sweetsie-sweet and nicie-nice watered down and powerless parody of Christianity they've been being acclimated to for their whole lives long that they'll be afraid of it and many of them will reject it. Also because one of the major ingredients in the outpouring will be the baptism of fire which the Lord will use to dislodge people from their beloved idols, deceptions, and mediocre do-gooder agendas, and to clean them up morally, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, which will be quite painful to many people. Also because the outpouring will expose where everyone is at spiritually, and most Christians want none of that.
The end-time outpouring of the Holy Spirit will no doubt be many times more powerful than any previous outpouring (or maybe as powerful as all of the previous outpourings put together). I think the end-time outpouring of the Holy Spirit is going to be the second most important event in human history, second to the Lord's sacrifice on the cross for the sins of mankind, followed by his burial, resurrection, and ascension into heaven. I think the end-time outpouring (aka the "Latter Rain Outpouring of the Holy Spirit") will dwarf the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost 2,000 years ago (aka the "Former Rain Outpouring of the Holy Spirit"), because that outpouring was the birth of the Lord's church, whereas the end-time outpouring will prepare the Lord's church for her marriage to him.
Plus it will usher souls to salvation in numbers unlike anything anyone ever imagined (per Hosea 6:3, Joel 2:23, Matthew 24:14, James 5:7, and Revelation 14:14-16, all in the King James Version). Plus it will strengthen those who stay with it to be able to endure the end-time persecution which the kingdom of darkness will roll out in retaliation against the outpouring, as is foretold in numerous verses of scripture (e.g. Daniel 11:33-35, Daniel 12:1-7, Matthew 24:9, Matthew 24:21-22, Revelation 6:9-11, and Revelation 13:7).
However, the persecution will be so severe that many who were blessed by the end-time outpouring and who were strengthened by it won't be able to endure the persecution and will fall away (as the Holy Spirit speaking through the Apostle Paul foretold in 2 Thessalonians 2:3), so that those who endure to the end will be those who loved not their lives unto death (per Revelation 12:11).
If you look around in the comments to the myriad of mundane religious videos on RUclips you'll see lots and lots of comments saying "I'm ready to go home." Not only do they not realize how incredibly selfish that attitude is, if most of them had any idea how un-ready they are to 'go home' they'd be appalled at themselves. When the end-time outpouring finally comes we're all going to find out just how un-ready we really are. The good news is that the Lord will use the outpouring to make us ready to go home (per Ephesians 5:27), painful as the process may be. This is the way I think it's all going to play out anyway.
