No insurance? That should be an automatic suspension of the drivers license. Providing false information to police? Pretty sure that one's already on the books. Caused a crash and have no insurance? Impound the vehicle and sell at auction to repay victim.

I got into a collision with a red light runner who had no insurance and no drivers license they were only 18. Taking away a license doesn't stop people from driving, there's no technology in drivers licenses to activate a car due to the costs. This is why people need to drive with comprehensive coverage and drive defensively as well.

I’ve been hit twice two years in a row where the other drivers didn’t have insurance and one didn’t have a drivers license. None of it resulted in tickets for the other drivers or any consequences that I know of, but the uninsured motorist AND a $30 dashcam saved me both times.

It's a struggle getting his former employer's uninsured motorist to pay a dime. Meanwhile, workers comp paid the bare minimum and we are paying thousands on our own for treatment for his severe back pain and the emotional stress of being unable to support his family. I'm thankful I have a job that can support us all, but he feels extreme stress over not being able to help.
