Control is almost always a rough matchup for any deck that relies on only 1 or 2 win cons... aside from that one hiccup, great deck! I had fun watching almost the entire tier-1 meta just get wrecked by it.
I love this deck! The only Solemnity/Unife brews i've seen have been all-in and you're right in saying that there is very little modern enchantment removal (at least in my meta.)
Nice video's. Already a fan of them. For the eldrazitron matchup it is maybe worth splashing red for bloodmoon. The nykthos/miracle package has to go in that case, but you can play nahiri+emrakul instead. Maybe other planeswalkers for supression field or something like lightning helix. Purphoros and murderous redcap for infinite probably is too cute.
Yeah, I'm thinking about making a red version of the deck. Purphoros would be sweet, and if we throw in Norin the Wary, they would be pretty awesome together!
I never really liked a lot of these magic channels until I found this one. Great editing straight to the point I get impatient but have watched all your different decks and have thoroughly enjoyed them. This is by far my favorite deck and in the process of building it. Would like to see a Jeskai deck.
I've really enjoyed testing this deck ever since you posted it. I've found that Cast Out is a good replacement for Oblivion Ring due to the secondary Cycle ability (and possible Entreat on the opponent's end step!) Also, Blind Obedience is better than Authority in my opinion because it can be a win condition all on it's own with the Extort ability and is good against Affinity especially due to it saying "Artifacts and Creatures come in tapped." Otherwise, I use Mine Excavation against destruction/counters against the combo pieces. It's simple, but unexpected. Thank you for getting me out of my comfort zone in MTGO!!
+The Dude I'm glad you liked the deck! Blind obedience would make things interesting! I did consider cast out, but I was worried that suppression field would interfere with the cycling :(
And it does...to a degree. But, I've since cut one of the Suppression Fields to make room for 4 Cast Outs and it's not quite as bad. Considering it doesn't interfere and it's used normally...it fits the curve perfectly over O-ring with it being the only true 4-drop other than Leyline. I'm just having a blast testing it because I'm a 20+ year player and have always pigeon-holed myself with tribal, aggro, and burn for the most part because it's my style, it's what I'm good at, and it maximizes my fun. But, this...this is evolving my interest in control for sure without going to the dark side of countermagic.
I like it! I built a Modern enchantment deck when I was learning how to play Magic and it was pretty bad, but it used quite a few of these cards. I was trying to win with Sigil of the Empty Throne. This deck, however, looks to be very good. I might have to try it. Good video and deck!
This deck is deck is a total pain when playing control. But these are the kinda players I love playing against when I'm on jeskai draw go, they slam the cards, think about nothing else, wait for them to win. Good going Timmies, keep making Magic a great game :)
I was playing a version similar to this, but splashing red (for another prison style enchantment - blood moon) //Lands 4 Arid Mesa 3 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx 8 Plains 4 Sacred Foundry 4 Temple of Triumph //Spells 3 Blood Moon 4 Ghostly Prison 4 Idyllic Tutor 4 Leyline of Sanctity 4 Oblivion Ring 4 Porphyry Nodes 3 Rest in Peace 4 Runed Halo 3 Sigil of the Empty Throne 1 Story Circle 3 Suppression Field //Sideboard SB: 1 Rest in Peace SB: 4 Path to Exile SB: 4 Stony Silence SB: 1 Blood Moon SB: 1 Suppression Field SB: 4 Nevermore
Aw, I think you could easily have gone 5-0. That second Runed Halo was pretty stupid. If you just casted a single spell each turn and made an angel, you could easily outpace him.
+The Raven Yeah, I thought maybe colonade was his only finisher and that he would try to bounce one with cryptic and then keep a counter in hand to follow up with. Most Jeskai versions I've seen either finish with nahiri/emrakul, Geist of Saint Traft, or just colonade, and I assumed the latter
I'm finally jumping into Modern, running burn. Just need 1 Arid Mesa to finish the build. I really like this deck, I think you should keep tweaking it. It's sweet!
+Ironocy Thanks! Best of luck with the burn deck. Naya burn was my go to deck back before boros burn took over. Definitely never any dull matches with burn
Whenever I make a deck with green, I always have 2 Back to Natures in the sideboard. Not really specifically for enchantress decks since it's not much of the meta, but for any combos, budget paths, ect. I think it's severely underrated
I will say, the Jeskai control deck looked identical to the decks used in the 2013 modern world championships. Old, but both had Ajani Vengeant, Colonade, Bolt, etc.
Ive' played mono white enchantment for quite some time now. love the deck. i enjoy seeing other people enjoy it too. I run starfield of nyx and heliod as 1 of's for the extra win cons.
+Andrew Richardson Awesome! I'm considering both of those cards, but I'm still not sure. Nyx may open the enchantments up for creature removal, and Heliod's ability works against suppression field. But something about my deck here just feels incomplete
yea. Heliod is the worst of the 2, but if you have greater auramancy out you only have to worry about board wipes with starfield. The way that I have always played the card though is that I only cast it the turn I want to swing for the win. I have played games where I survived against control with starfield out, but I play a couple Nevermore also and was able to name the board wipes/cryptic commands. starfield recovers from spot removal prety well.
I run Bant enchantments but I could consider cutting green (Eidolon of Blossoms, Utopia Sprawl, and sometimes Herald of the Pantheon) to switch over to the Entreat and Runed Halo sort of plan. Most of the rest is similar. However, I have to say that splashing blue is almost certainly better than mono white... it gives you counterspells, Detention Sphere, a couple Colonnades yourself, Spreading Seas... lots of good stuff. Especially that last one because decks that run out non-artifact permanents almost never beat Tron without land hate.
yeah I've never heard the Modern thing. I hate Standard right now and normally love draft but can't do this Block for some reason. I'm liking your videos so far keep up the good work.
+absolutfx I'm glad you like the videos! Hour of Devastation is tough to get used to. You just need to snatch up all of the removal right away, stay in 2 colors, and avoid aggro in most cases. Also, synergy isn't really necessary in Hour of Devastation, so don't get distracted by things like prowess to build the deck around. Hope that helps!!
Myth Realized could be a good thing to do on turn 1. Yes it gets nerfed by Solemnity but if you get it to a 4/4 or 5/5 before Solemnity comes down and give it shroud, seems decent.
More budget modern videos man! I watch them :D and great channel btw, you rarely see someone who actually plays with the deck in the same video as showing and explaining the deck..
+Ragmesesis It still struggles against tron, although the suppression fields plans stony silences do help. I added 2 ghost quarters maindeck to help out as well
Im fairly new to modern as i always played standard and drafted. But when i started making some modern decks i always included enchantment hate because i assume there were some enchantment decks running around. I think i played you once while you were play testing this! I was playing slivers against this list and i side boarded in the 1gw sliver that makes slivers etb destroy enchants and in game 3 i was able to chain the etbs by destroying the journey to know wheres and wiped the entire board of enchants. the opponent scooped.
Lol, I've been collecting the cards for this deck and have almost every card except those Greater Auromancy which are fringe-playable but still costs $20 each =(
Magic Aids maybe even just as one in the side board or replacing one Ghostly Prison? Not sure, but you're definitely right that 5cmc makes it tougher. Just something to consider though :)
+Magic Aids awesome deck tech its unique. Can i build this please? I like decks like this they're different and people won't expect a deck like this . Great job sir
I'm just at the deck tech, but I think that entreat as a four of is excessive, I woul be happy at 2 or 3 and playing like a cast out or two, for an all around flash removal spell that doesn't gets hit by abrupt decay, and cycles. I think that being able to deal with noncreature permanents in a deck like this this is a nice hedge to have in the main deck. Something like a nahiri could be devastating, and the opportunity cost, thanks to the cycling is almost 0. Also, it gives a cheap way to draw a card in an opponent turn, which can be hilarious for miracling an entreat. I would start as a 2 cast outs, 3 entreat and cutting something else, probably the journey, since its redundant with the cast out, and we have a very very good matchup against creautrey decks.
+Alejandro Arturo Pumpido Cast out was something i considered, but I went with oblivion ring instead since cycling is affected by suppression field. I also previously tried only 2 enreat the angels, and the deck struggled to close out matches. Plus, casting an angel for 5 or 2 angels for 7 isn't all that bad if it's not topdecked
The cycling nombo is something I did not take in consideration. Have you run this deck more times? I still think that flash and immunity to abrupt decay is something to take into account, but cycling at 2W seems very expensive.
+Alejandro Arturo Pumpido Yep, I'm still giving this deck another go! I should have the video up in 10 hours, but then I'll leave it to everyone else to decide how to improve the deck
+terry gardenier What would you recommend for sideboarding against your deck? I was thinking of running 2-3 ghost quarters maindeck even though suppression field interferes with it.
People thought I was crazy when I said Solemnity would be on the ban watch list for modern when it was first announced. I have seen so many crazy decks built with it since then and each of them have been hilarious but a bit too strong. From mono white enchant such as this one to black white geralf's messenger combo to blue white control using thing in the ice. I know there are answers for solemnity but honestly its been a while since i have seen a card that breaks game mechanics like this before, not to mention the wide range of abusing it.
I really like this video. You gained a sub. I only use mobile. Would be great if you uploaded the deck list to a sight like tapped out. I would like to see the cost of the deck and over view. Thanks
I love this deck and plan to run it, if possible please make more of these vids! I'm new to playing anything outside of 8rack and would love more insight into proper decision making. Question - can I cut the Flagstones? They're a bit pricey and I'm not sure why/how they're used in this deck. Thanks for the vid!
+Ted Uhrich flagstones can go. I just used them to prevent flooding since they're legendary and you sac them to search for a land, which is one less land in the deck
12:04 "We're just making the world a better place, one match at a time" ...while I mercilessly slap around my opponents, one face at a time. lol 14:55 "OoOooh; the tingles in my nips." - lmfao
Impressive brew despite not being able to close it out! You mentioned that you've used Jeskai Nahiri before. Any thoughts and advice on how this deck performs in the current meta? I know it has a bad match-up against Eldrazi Tron and I wanna modify it to have a better one.
+rnpo Hmm...I'm not sure. I played jeskai nahiri at my LGS for a few months while I was transitioning from blue moon to WR prison, but that was back before death's shadow and Eldrazi tron were everywhere. It just felt a bit too slow and underpowered against a lot of decks, but it still does well in tournaments every now and then, so maybe I just needed more practice with it to figure out how to maximize the deck
Is EtA better for than Rise of the Hobogoblins which was a staple in the mono white enchantment deck? Also, mono white enchant has been a thing for a while and this deck is based on it basically.
I would have thought that but ive been seeing it played more and more lately from graveyard shenanigans decks. There is no card that can prevent it destroying your enchants save two, Boros charm, and another card thats a green card. IF this card gains any traction all green based decks WILL sideboard Back to Nature.
Props to your editing. I find most MODO Videos unbearable, due the huge amount of waiting and thinking. First Channel I can see myself watching consistently. Keep it up!
Yeah, there's stuff out there to deal with it, but everyone's sideboards are so jammed that people tend to avoid enchantment removal even with all of the blood moons floating around!
This reminds me of when Eldrazi was going rampant, so I played a deck I called Teisa's Servant, playing painters servant making eldrazi cards not colourless would completely fuck them XD
Can't seem to find the decklist anywhere, but it involved Teysa, Orzhov Scion (misspelled in the last comment) and Painters Servant naming Black, thus when you sacrificed 3 white creatures to Teysa's ability, they would trigger her other ability because they would also be black, then just loop away. Recall it also having Dark Betrayal, since everything would be black :p
+Per Kristian Antonsen :) It happens to me all the time. I built a torrential gearhulk deck in standard to bring back reanimate sorcery bombs. Too bad it only targets instants :/
+Corey I did see it! I was making a similar version when the olive's video came out, but I could never pull off the combo with so much creature removal floating around
You should try to get some more eldrazi variants against this build. I think it will have the best match up due to chalice, all is dust and ugin. But i still think mono solemnity might be favored still
Maybe sideboard a few Athourity of the Consoles if you haven't done so. It'd be a good way to slow down your opponent and gain a bit of life and increase your survivability. It'd fit pretty well with what you have going.
what is this program/game/anything you could call it and that runs MTG??? (I'm not new about MTG, but never thought to a pc program to test/play decks)
ive made this deck in paper but having played in fnm i found that combo ( counters company, scapeshift) is such a good atchups and shadow and creature decks ( zoo, affinity). But i can´t beat eldrazi tron once they have set a clock and ive got a massive board, they will just all is dust. Any ideas for what to do?
So in death shadow decks you always pay the life, especially if your opponent has a leyline, also since you had a second nykthos in hand u could have tapped the first one play the sencond and kept the untapped one for more shenanigans
Control is almost always a rough matchup for any deck that relies on only 1 or 2 win cons... aside from that one hiccup, great deck! I had fun watching almost the entire tier-1 meta just get wrecked by it.
+Mai of the Fire I'm glad you liked the wreckage!
MODERN HORIZONS UPDATE! you could probably run on thin ice instead of journey to nowhere, as long as you have snow basics.
+1 for Semen Visions @6:47
KYLE ROBERT KOVACS it's a costly scry lol
+Darrel Moore Very
he continues to say it the rest of the match!
because of the promo art
Aaaaaaand even 69 likes, LMAO!
Great video. This editing is great for an impatient fuck like me to watch.
+JT LeRoy Thanks! :)
I love the pace of the editing. I hope you produce more solemnity videos! Enduring Ideal + Solemenity
+Trevor King Thanks! Enduring ideal is on my radar for future videos!
Man, hearing Daddy's voice from the old times is throwing me off
Still new to modern, but out of all of the decks I've seen so far this is definitely my favorite.
It is quite a gangstar deck!
I love this deck! The only Solemnity/Unife brews i've seen have been all-in and you're right in saying that there is very little modern enchantment removal (at least in my meta.)
+Pablo Castilla Yeah, the creature-solemnity decks I've tried never really panned out with all of the creature removal out there
Nice video's. Already a fan of them. For the eldrazitron matchup it is maybe worth splashing red for bloodmoon. The nykthos/miracle package has to go in that case, but you can play nahiri+emrakul instead. Maybe other planeswalkers for supression field or something like lightning helix. 6:48 in the video, "semen Visions", I'm dying, lmfao XD
+Cody Ratcliff The person on the card is just way too excited for it to be anything else ;)
LMFAO, touche 😂
The promo art looks like a surprised woman with a bukake storm coming at her. That is where the term "Semen Visions" came from
I've really enjoyed testing this deck ever since you posted it. +Miklathesamurai :D
I was playing a version similar to this, but splashing red (for another prison style enchantment - blood moon)
//Lands
4 Arid Mesa
3 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
8 Plains
4 Sacred Foundry
4 Temple of Triumph
//Spells
3 Blood Moon
4 Ghostly Prison
4 Idyllic Tutor
4 Leyline of Sanctity
4 Oblivion Ring
4 Porphyry Nodes
3 Rest in Peace
4 Runed Halo
3 Sigil of the Empty Throne
1 Story Circle
3 Suppression Field
//Sideboard
SB: 1 Rest in Peace
SB: 4 Path to Exile
SB: 4 Stony Silence
SB: 1 Blood Moon
SB: 1 Suppression Field
SB: 4 Nevermore
+Nalianna Pretty sweet! You don't think a 4th nyx shrine is worth it?
I'm coming back to this idea, now that there's potential for 12 Mono-White Leylines in a deck
Magic Aids you played around cryptic on the rune halo but not for the ajani ult
+Kyle A Yeah...live and learn I guess
Magic Aids The silver lining is you didnt 5-0 so the deck will still be on the down low.
+Matthew Rainbolt quite underrated indeed!
Love the deck....just bought it. I hope I do as well as you did. Nice job.
bullywag I am building it, too! :)
Made the deck with a couple changes. But I love it! Tilting folks left and right.
1st video I have seen of yours. I love modern and this deck is super sweet. Love it
+Justin Crawford thanks! I'll be sure to turn out more modern videos asap!
I will say, the Jeskai control deck looked identical to the decks used in the 2013 modern world championships. Old, but both had Ajani Vengeant, Colonade, Bolt, etc.
+Jamie Warfield Yeah, it definitely caught me off guard!
Shaun Mclaren won Pro Tour BNG with what is essentially that Jeskai control decks list. Ajani Vengeant used to be very common in WUR control decks.
+Redcloud Blackcloak Yeah, the deck's solid!
As a huge monowhite fan I have to say that this is a sweeeet deck, good job!
+wiart alexandre Thanks! I'm glad you like the deck!! :)
I have this deck but play it a little different like I use nevermore, this was fun to watch and see other variants that I should try

+Andrew Richardson Hmm...I might need to give it a try then. It would be pretty cool to surprise the opponent like that
I run Bant enchantments but I could consider cutting green (Eidolon of Blossoms, Utopia Sprawl, and sometimes Herald of the Pantheon) to switch over to the Entreat and Runed Halo sort of plan. Most of the rest is similar. Especially that last one because decks that run out non-artifact permanents almost never beat Tron without land hate.
Blue is pretty useful, especially with search for Azcanta. I updated this list to be esper in a recent video if you're interested!
Having lost to Merfolk time and time again, it was supremely satisfying to see it getting wrecked by this new deck. So thanks for that.
+bartholomewfargo I'm glad I could return the favor!
yeah I've never heard the Modern thing. I hate Standard right now and normally love draft but can't do this Block for some reason. I'm liking your videos so far keep up the good work.

really enjoyed this deck! Would love to see more off-meta decks in modern.
+Garrett Aguilar Me too! More decks like this are on the way!!
Really enjoyed the video and the deck :) Keep up the good work!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This looks like white sideboard made deck and i love it for it.
+derick moore Yep! It sure feels that way!!
This was an awesome video. I loved seeing you play modern
+plus2happiness Awesome! I'd be happy to make more modern videos!!
Myth Realized could be a good thing to do on turn 1. Yes it gets nerfed by Solemnity but if you get it to a 4/4 or 5/5 before Solemnity comes down and give it shroud, seems decent.
+Paul Brandenburg Hmm... good point. It could work, maybe if we cut down to 3 solemnities
cool deck :D i acctually predicted the missing enchantment hate to be a problem and included some in several decks i own :)
+Marka77 It's pretty sweet!
Subscribed, you make really awesome decks!
+MasterQuestMaster Thanks!! I'll have to make more decks like this one! :)
i love you so so much!!! im a huge enchantment guy. i cant wait to make this deck
+Joshua Kane Thanks! The deck is quite fun to play! :D
More budget modern videos man! I watch them :D and great channel btw, you rarely see someone who actually plays with the deck in the same video as showing and explaining the deck..
+Nidas Richmount glad you liked it! I'll try to find another PaF deck soon!
This is an awesome deck man! I just found your channel and love your content already!
+Caleb J Thanks!
i play a deck like this on paper, it's so much fun to pilot
+Denali Foglietti Indeed! It is quite fun!!
Just wanted to say that your content is great!
+Erik Andersson Thanks! And welcome back!!
This is pretty sweet. Half Enchantress.
+DUMPSTERF1LM Indeed!
Cool deck. In the final mach, you played into supreme verdict twice in game 1.
+Creativity&Logic Yeah... hindsight is 20/20 :P
Cool deck, gemstone caverns seems possible here aswell.
+malloott Yeah, I was thinking the same thing!
+Magic Aids may I suggest a couple of wrath of god's in your sideboard for those really heavy creature decks like Tron or tokens
Really cool and fun deck. I'll definitely give it a try
+Jaume Tejero Ambrosio It's quite fun if you like decks that are different!
nice video, just in love with solemnity
+nein danke Thanks! Solemnity is pretty sweet!!
Solemnity combo makes me glad I play green so I can side in Back to Nature.
Yep! Lucky for me, I haven't seen one played yet!
Magic Aids I don't think you will run into it unless this starts showing up in top 8s and the internet tells players to start running it.
I would love to see your opponents reactions to all that pillow forting
+1313strife Me too :D
Even without the combo, 10 extra life for three mana is not bad at all :)
Indeed! It is prettty gangstar!
Dude respect i will subscribe to you, your white enchantment deck is awesome.
+Ragmesesis Thanks!!
Magic Aids does it work well against eldrazi tron?
+Ragmesesis It still struggles against tron, although the suppression fields plans stony silences do help. I added 2 ghost quarters maindeck to help out as well
Magic Aids do you have an answer against all is dust?
+Ragmesesis I put nevermore in the sideboard and 2 ghost quarters maindeck. Tron is still a rough matchup though
SUCH GOOD EDITING
+David F THANKS!

Lol, I've been collecting the cards for this deck and have almost every card except those Greater Auromancy which are fringe-playable but still costs $20 each =(
Commander decks be driving up dem prices!
Perhaps a one-of Sphere of Safety? Ramps up the Prison effects a ton.
It would be pretty close to a hard lock against most creature decks, but there are only so many cmc5 cards that can fit in the deck. It might work...
Magic Aids maybe even just as one in the side board or replacing one Ghostly Prison? Not sure, but you're definitely right that 5cmc makes it tougher. Just something to consider though :)
man you played into his removal so much in match 5 game 1. you could have definitly won that.
+nietrelevant Yeah, I definetly could have done better, although our steep mana curve favored the opponent either way :(
Love the deck and your name is quite appropriate lol
+Nick Yeah, one of my opponents asked me of my username was named after this deck :P
paraselene is one of the best ways to deal with enchantments
+The Clashing Legend Yep! There are a lot of good enchantment wipe cards out there!
lol that's so true I love bogles and I never see anyone with enchantment hate
Indeed!
+Magic Aids awesome deck tech its unique. Can i build this please? I like decks like this they're different and people won't expect a deck like this . Great job sir
Honestly I would look into starfield of nyx. Can make your deck a lot more resilient
+happysideoffear777 It's a possibility! :D

All Is Dust
+terry gardenier Yeah, I think the sideboard needs to be changed for tron. Rule of law isn't really necessary, so maybe nevermore would be better
Magic Aids idk maybe i run eldrazi tron so yeah
+terry gardenier What would you recommend for sideboarding against your deck? I was thinking of running 2-3 ghost quarters maindeck even though suppression field interferes with it.
Magic Aids that is a ready good question idk i subbed though so of i can think of anything ill let you know
+terry gardenier Cool, thanks!
Wheel of sun and moon gives you two devotion and helps you in the mill mach.
+imapow Yeah, I thought about that. Might add it if we return to the deck!
At 26:10 when you played phyrexian unlife you could have left nykthos open to pay for the possibility of a logic knot.
+Evan Coffey Yeah, I suppose so. Lots to think about and record at the same time!
I recommend glacial chasm and an alternate win con
+Nik Melvin Too bad it's not modern legal :(
People thought I was crazy when I said Solemnity would be on the ban watch list for modern when it was first announced.
Say what?! I never realized somenity works with thing in the ice! Has anyone made a standard video with a deck like that?
not sure of any videos I just know from people i play with one uses a blue white control that i've seen drop two 7/8's on turn four. It's brutal.
Love modern and edh shiznit like this
I really like this video. You gained a sub. I only use mobile. Would be great if you uploaded the deck list to a sight like tapped out. I would like to see the cost of the deck and over view. Thanks
+Tyler Morgan No problem! I added the link to the deck list on mtggoldfish in the description
Makes sense, thanks for the response!
9:58 You could play quite a lot at that point, as the leylines give you a total of three mana.
nykthos has an activation cost of 2, so with only 1 other land that isn't possible
Oh, silly me. The card's played so often in turboramp decks so it's not a common problem that i've ran into.
i would argue against the second rest in peace in match 1 game 2. you can keep it to cast it later to get angel tokens.
+diego scar Yeah, sometimes it's a tough call. But death shadow can drop a lot of stuff into the graveyard and get tasiguir out as early as turn 2
12:04 "We're just making the world a better place, one match at a time" ...while I mercilessly slap around my opponents, one face at a time. lol
14:55 "OoOooh; the tingles in my nips." - lmfao
+SpoonHurler Hobogoblins could work, but I think it's harder to finish with than EtA
Magic Aids maybe a 2-2 split... I think it giving devotion and hitting enchantment triggers and not really being dead as often is important.
Just getting back into MTG, What program are you using to play these games??
+Tenks01 The program is mtgo for pc computers
More games with this deck!
+jjizzle We shall return one day!
Back to Nature.
1G
Destroy all enchantments.
Do you have an answer for this sideboard card?
+Jason Carto you could use nevermore if you know your opponent has it, but luckily back to nature isn't played that often
I would have thought that but ive been seeing it played more and more lately from graveyard shenanigans decks. There is no card that can prevent it destroying your enchants save two, Boros charm, and another card thats a green card. IF this card gains any traction all green based decks WILL sideboard Back to Nature.
+Jason Carto Perhaps so
Hi, whats the program name you´re using in the video? For playing Magic?
+nazagato it's mtgo, a paid program for pcs
Props to your editing. I find most MODO Videos unbearable, due the huge amount of waiting and thinking. First Channel I can see myself watching consistently. Keep it up!
+AraigumaTV Thanks! I try to keep things short and to the point!!
that casual "Semen visions" hahaha
+llamapi3 :P
i like these decks that have been showing up but how long till someone just sideboards fragmentize
Yeah, there's stuff out there to deal with it, but everyone's sideboards are so jammed that people tend to avoid enchantment removal even with all of the blood moons floating around!
The thing about enchantment removal is only 2 colors have it.
I really wish my mono black deck can have a sideboard that doesn't involve ratchet bomb.
+Toni Faseemo yeah, I'm sure other colors would get enchantment hate if a deck like this became prevalent in the metagame
This reminds me of when Eldrazi was going rampant, so I played a deck I called Teisa's Servant, playing painters servant making eldrazi cards not colourless would completely fuck them XD
+patuni That is pretty clever! I've been wanting to make a servant deck in modern, but I'm not sure how to pull it off
Can't seem to find the decklist anywhere, but it involved Teysa, Orzhov Scion (misspelled in the last comment) and Painters Servant naming Black, thus when you sacrificed 3 white creatures to Teysa's ability, they would trigger her other ability because they would also be black, then just loop away.
Recall it also having Dark Betrayal, since everything would be black :p
Very sweet!
+Photo Hound Glad you think so!!!
this looks so super sweet! i have a feeling this deck could have use for sigardas aid though... yay/nay?
nevermind. auras... learn to read:/
+Per Kristian Antonsen :) It happens to me all the time. I built a torrential gearhulk deck in standard to bring back reanimate sorcery bombs. Too bad it only targets instants :/
Did you see Saffron's take on the deck? He goes BW, it's pretty dope.
+Corey I did see it! I was making a similar version when the olive's video came out, but I could never pull off the combo with so much creature removal floating around
You should try to get some more eldrazi variants against this build. I think it will have the best match up due to chalice, all is dust and ugin. But i still think mono solemnity might be favored still
+Brian F Perhaps so!
Upvoted. Fun stuff
+rAMhead :)
Why is he running Flagstones of Trokair?
to ghostly quarter his flagstones to get two plains
It's a really solid land in mono white. It turns itself into a fetch sometimes
Maybe sideboard a few Athourity of the Consoles if you haven't done so. It'd be a good way to slow down your opponent and gain a bit of life and increase your survivability. It'd fit pretty well with what you have going.
+Ryan Hamlin It would be good against aggro decks!
Magic Aids yeah most definitely. I love this build you have and may try a variation of my own. I love the control play style deck types
what is this program/game/anything you could call it and that runs MTG???
(I'm not new about MTG, but never thought to a pc program to test/play decks)
+Araym AleAdryG it's a pc program called mtgo
Are you commentating as you play or on prerecorded video?
I commentate while playing
ive made this deck in paper but having played in fnm i found that combo ( counters company, scapeshift) is such a good atchups and shadow and creature decks ( zoo, affinity). But i can´t beat eldrazi tron once they have set a clock and ive got a massive board, they will just all is dust. Any ideas for what to do?
+Rougrootet Nevermore and ghost quarter are your best bet if you want to stay mono white. But yeah, it's tough
Check out Enduring ideal. Loved the deck man. Funny as hell.
You might want sphere of safety
+Will Smith Yeah, I was considering it for sideboard. I'm just not sure cmc5 is worth it
So in death shadow decks you always pay the life, especially if your opponent has a leyline, also since you had a second nykthos in hand u could have tapped the first one play the sencond and kept the untapped one for more shenanigans
+Lee Gammon Yeah, that's what I usually do if the moment is right
Mana Tithe sideboard tech against control?
+Anton Smit Hmm...maybe. It kind of blows if we draw it late-game!
I run mono white enchantments. I always run Wrath of God x4 main board.
+astebel Does it work well? I think it would be better than the nodes enchantment
Magic Aids
Works fantastic. Wrath is a mainstay for mono white enchantments. Creature decks are all the rage at the moment.
