100% agree. Watching unedited MTGO vods (looking at you, ChannelFireball) is just agonizingly slow, even if I do love LSV. I'd much rather watch these rapid fire deck showcases.
10 matches in under 30 mins. Decent commentary. It's the edited sideboarding that I really appreciate. Good format. Keep it up. Magnified cards in the deck tech would be nice, side-googling cards to read is a thing.
the way u edit the vids makes mtg feel actually fast paced which is dope, i really like it. also nice that you play competitive decks with twists to keep it interesting, keep up the content!
I think people are right, your streamlined editing makes viewing so awesome. And I love your wild and creative brews! Modern videos are my favorite, but I like your Standard stuff too! Keep up the great work!
Kudos to you for actually showing the sequence of the storm player going off! It must have taken a while to edit all that, but it's so much more watchable than saying "he got there" and cutting to the next game. Great video.
As my feedback: Thanks for making the videos so quick and talking about whats happening. The cuts make it so much better in comparison with other people's videos. I'd love to see some more "unconventional" decks if you have fun playing any.
I use ferocidon in boros burn. It's definitely a viable card. There are matchups where it is average, but there are other matchups where it's devastating, such as serra ascenant, vengevine, pyromancer, orzhov tokens, bitterblossom and elves. I run boros so I can sideboard soulfire grandmaster in mirror matches, and I win 9 out 10 games with it. You lose out on destructive revelry, but enchantments usually aren't relevant so it's ok.
Another sweet vid, bro, always a pleasure to watch. Adding new cards to proven decks is always a challenge, but you pull it off nicely. I would love to see more vids like this, with even more dinos!
I love your videos please keep making more the content is great the rogue brews are awesome and i cant tell you how much better it is to watch the videos sped up
29k views. Man, you're blowing up compared to when I subbed probably 2 months ago. Keep it up, 1 video a week just isn't enough..but they're always top notch.
Love your vids, I know editing makes the video making progress a lot longer but damn it's so worth it! I like to play Rabblemaster so it's hard for me to play Ferocidon alongside but will have to swap them out and give 'em a try.
You are one of a very short list of youtubers who edit mtg videos to take out the pauses, and I love you for it. As for as stuff I want to see: You've been doing lots of stuff on cards that have been hyped for modern. How about Nimble Obstructionist? Maybe as a 2x in some mana-denial control deck?
The first thing I thought when I saw this dino was Sulfuric Vortex on a stick. It's a great card but I'd say more of a sideboard tech than mainboard staple. That being said you've got some bizzare cards in this deck. Ensnaring Bridge and Become Immense without trample/unblockable make very little sense to me. Also a single Shrine with 4 Eidolons seem counterproductive. I'm not a Burn expert by any stretch but it feels like you want a playset of one or the other since they have exactly opposite goals (cast more red/get hurt for each spell). Great content as always!
Thanks! Become Immense was borderline, but it works will with the dino b/c of the menace. The shrine only really works against control decks if dropped turn 2
I was thinking of adding Ferocidon to my burn deck as well. Though instead I'm going to do Naya burn. Keep the land base at 20, subtract the become immense (didn't seem to do anything anyways), shrine (personally don't like the card at 1), and grim lavamacer to add in four boras charms or lightning helix (yes I know the two don't like each other).
Hej! Great vids as always 👍 I actually made a paper one of the Rakdos Burn. My question to you is: Which of the burn decks that you've created on your channel do you prefer, considering fun to play and efficiency? Greetings from SWE
Dude I can tell you put a lot of work into this deck and it looks great👌👌 sub for life, btw with ixalan legal now I would love to see you wreck with some more ug merchoke
Are you still working with the deck? got to test Kird Ape, Dryad Arbor and Ghor-clan Rampage? but congratulations to the list, I recently won my place for the PT of Naya Burn, but I will check your list, if you have made any changes, please inform me, thank you
The become immense seems to sometimes get stuck in your hand - Would it be worth trying Thunderous Wrath in its place? I do like the deck idea, Atarka feels more interactive than Boros which leads to more exciting games from my perspective.
I know I'm a little late on commenting, but have you played this deck any more? I'm thinking of buying it and was wondering if you had anymore tweaks and changes for it
+Zachary Hall hmm... maybe moving some ferrocidons to the SB. Just make sure you won't get tired of burn before you buy the deck cuz it can get a bit repetitive
Hey Daddy, you should try running this again with Dreadhorde Arcanist. It's ridiculous being able to cast Atarka's Command twice for 6 damage and +2/+2 to your creatures for RG.
Do you think that mono red burn w/ a playset of street wraiths is viable? 56 card decks tend to be pretty good, especially when card density is what wins you the game.
Amazing as always. Next I'd like to see a deck with Exquisite Blood-Sanguine bond combo. I know they're too costy to play, but maybe you could somehow cheat them in play quickly? I dunno, just an idea
In the first Storm match, is there an argument for letting Past in Flames to resolve then popping Relic in response to the first spell they cast so that the Past is removed from the graveyard?
@19:06 When you say "We know he has bolt so no point in attacking" isn't the point of attacking there to force him to bolt the guide so he can't gifts?
I think ferocidon is worth playing but I would probably just play 2, and I think if I were to play atarka red I would just have to play a couple more become immense and a couple temur battle rage; it might not be better but I love those cards
Magic Aids yes it is, I play it myself. I was just wondering, what different creative way your crazy mind would Be able to transform it to, cause it is by itself so changeable. 😊 ...cause your brews are outstanding good and fun 😊
I am not convinced the Ferocidon has a place in the maindeck here. 3 mana is cumbersome in burn for a creature that gets killed by mainly 1 mana spells even though it's abilities are nice
In thr gqme with brimaz I can see him trying to block the ferostodon because it makes a token. Little did the opponent know blockers have to be declared before the token is made
Not everybody has 2 hours to watch a complete league, yet you upload two of them in a 30 minutes video, you are the real boss
THANKS!! I try to keep things short and to the point!!
These days he does it in 10 minutes, and includes a deck tech and sometimes meta info. Daddy has evolved so much and I'm here for it
Your videos are so good, seriously your editing is top notch and my god does it make it so watchable.
i love how he wastes no time on random chatter so you can actually see a lot of action in a short amount of time.
+Jean Luc Janda thanks! I'm glad you liked it!!
Exactly other channels have a lot of waiting, posturing, and fuggin’ HESITATIONS! Here he just keeps the games moving along, always go go go
100% agree. Watching unedited MTGO vods (looking at you, ChannelFireball) is just agonizingly slow, even if I do love LSV. I'd much rather watch these rapid fire deck showcases.
Love your content and no nonsense edit skills. 👍
+Marty Poos Awesome!
10 matches in under 30 mins.
Decent commentary.
It's the edited sideboarding that I really appreciate. Good format. Keep it up.
Magnified cards in the deck tech would be nice, side-googling cards to read is a thing.
Never have I ever had the need to click fast forward through a Magic Aids video
:D
the way u edit the vids makes mtg feel actually fast paced which is dope, i really like it. also nice that you play competitive decks with twists to keep it interesting, keep up the content!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the content!!
I think people are right, your streamlined editing makes viewing so awesome. And I love your wild and creative brews! Modern videos are my favorite, but I like your Standard stuff too! Keep up the great work!
Only guy who's editing is on par with Seth from MTGgoldfish, and both you guys are just personalities made for this business.
Thanks! It's an honor to be compared to the Olive!
I wish you made as many videos as Seth
I cant stand safronolive DX
Kudos to you for actually showing the sequence of the storm player going off! It must have taken a while to edit all that, but it's so much more watchable than saying "he got there" and cutting to the next game. Great video.
I look forward to your videos. I really enjoy how you narrate throughout the entire process. Great stuff!!! Keep it up!!!!
Thanks! Will do!!
Fantastic editing and content as always, keep up the great work. My personal favorites are the modern videos, but I'll watch whatever you put out
+Nathan Marhefke thanks! More modern videos are on the way!!
im glad there are still magic youtubers for me to find; i love the modern content, please keep posting it!
+STSOON more modern on the way!
youre incredible at commentating AND editing! ive been kept invested for hours thank you sir!
+TheWickedDestruction I'm glad you liked it!
As my feedback: Thanks for making the videos so quick and talking about whats happening. The cuts make it so much better in comparison with other people's videos.
I'd love to see some more "unconventional" decks if you have fun playing any.
+Froschritter More janky decks are on the way!
I use ferocidon in boros burn. It's definitely a viable card. Agreed! I seemed solid whenever I played it as well!!
Thanks so much for putting in the timestamps. :)
+Dave Ellis you're welcome!!
Gangster deck, burn, well-edited, sweet voice. Nothing less.
Another sweet vid, bro, always a pleasure to watch. Adding new cards to proven decks is always a challenge, but you pull it off nicely. I would love to see more vids like this, with even more dinos!
Thanks! More on the way!!1
Saw the notification, dropped everything and watched it all the way through. Good shit man
+J F I'm glad you liked it!
Much love for the dedication you put in making your videos!
Thanks!
The editing is awesome, i like watching fast matches, keep it up
19:54 "Hell yeaaah"
19:56 "HELL NOOOOO"
lmao
your videos are so good btw, just saying
+plus2happiness thanks!
Vraiment excellent ! Congratulations from Switzerland ! Love all your content, please keep going :) !!!
Thanks! I will definitely keep going!!
I love your videos please keep making more the content is great the rogue brews are awesome and i cant tell you how much better it is to watch the videos sped up
Thanks for going through this idea for the deck, keep it up.
+Darin Wynder will do!
I totally love these videos, these are the whole reason I subscribed. watching you play is interesting and funny man keep it up
You're my new favorite streamer. Your commentary is just perfect.
29k views. Man, you're blowing up compared to when I subbed probably 2 months ago. Keep it up, 1 video a week just isn't enough..but they're always top notch.
Thanks! I'll try to upload as much as possible!!
Love your vids, I know editing makes the video making progress a lot longer but damn it's so worth it! I like to play Rabblemaster so it's hard for me to play Ferocidon alongside but will have to swap them out and give 'em a try.
+Will Houldy thanks! Maybe ferocidon in the sideboard?
i dont know why but i look forward to watching your videos i love to watch you dude keep it up
You are one of a very short list of youtubers who edit mtg videos to take out the pauses, and I love you for it.
As for as stuff I want to see: You've been doing lots of stuff on cards that have been hyped for modern. How about Nimble Obstructionist? Maybe as a 2x in some mana-denial control deck?
I was critizising you for your editing once. Now ive come to see that your editing is really good. No bs just gameplay. Keep it up
Only thing i would add is a scoreboard to keep track of wins and losses
Looking forward to your next videos!
Thanks!
I loved the snap scoop in Match 6.
+Psychosigma :D
Very entertaining gameplay. Your commentary is great.
Thanks! I'm glad you think so!!
The first thing I thought when I saw this dino was Sulfuric Vortex on a stick. It's a great card but I'd say more of a sideboard tech than mainboard staple. Thanks! Become Immense was borderline, but it works will with the dino b/c of the menace. The shrine only really works against control decks if dropped turn 2
your videos/ deck techs are awesome
Thanks!
Great video! Do you have a sideboard guide for the deck or would you be interested in making one?
Holy shit. Good matches. great channel
+Sam Matthias Thanks! 😁
great editing!
Any update on this list? Have you played the deck any more since uploading? Would love to see how it matches up in 2018! Great vids
Love your videos! I want to see you rip people apart with a Devastating Summons deck.
Cool editing!
+Max Mayer Thanks!
I was thinking of adding Ferocidon to my burn deck as well. Though instead I'm going to do Naya burn. Do you think stigma lasher would be just as good? Can get rid of their creatures with bolts and searing blaze
destructive revelry XD you are awesome!
I know, right!?
What you think of rampaging ferocidon in Jund death Shadow decks?
Hej! Great vids as always 👍
I actually made a paper one of the Rakdos Burn. My question to you is: Which of the burn decks that you've created on your channel do you prefer, considering fun to play and efficiency?
Greetings from SWE
+Fredrik Eriksson that's a good question! I think Rakdos burn was more fun, and I'm planning on revisiting the deck with ferocidon added to it
Magic Aids That'll be very interesting. I keep my eyes open! Keep up the good work 👌👍
Mix them I did
love this channel... you got a new subscriber! keep up!
Im still playing the first rakdos... that video with the dino and your argument confince me to try something...
+Charles Cote I'm planning on revisiting Rakdos with ferocidon!
keep up the awesome work :)
I loved your play by play.
That looks more legit than I expected.
Indeed!
Really enjoyed this video. You have a new sub.
I like your decks, great content.
+Bernd B I'm glad you liked it!
Awesome will be following you!! also built this deck now...
Thanks! Glad to have you on board!
"So we will go ahead and take care of these two hos" hahaha so good.
Very good video =)
+Dominik Wusa thanks!
Your modo vids are boss
That giggle.
Awesome!
I used Leyline of Punishment in my Goblin Deck. It was also great against fogs, but that doesn't really matter here.
+Kim Thanks!
Hey Daddy, you should try running this again with Dreadhorde Arcanist. It's ridiculous being able to cast Atarka's Command twice for 6 damage and +2/+2 to your creatures for RG.
The Storm Game was my favorite
have you thought about adding ferocidon to rakdos burn?
Watching your old video I realize how tame you used to be, lol.
Qq are you considering streaming? I'd be hyped to watch as you test decks, and I'd be really happy to support you by subscribing on twitch.
If only I could cut out the pauses for streams :(
Magic Aids to be fair the pauses would be good for checking chat, also I never thought Aids-papi would reply so cheers!
If you're playing Green why no Wild Nacatl ?
I'd also consider Skullcrack/Shard Volley for the 3x flex slots (Lavamancer, Shrine, B.Immense)
Wild Nacatl almost made the cut, but I decided on keeping it 3 colors instead. Maybe we'll revisit a Naya version of the deck!
Do you think that mono red burn w/ a playset of street wraiths is viable? 56 card decks tend to be pretty good, especially when card density is what wins you the game.
+Sidney LeVine hmm...street wraith seems a bit risky in burn
Awesome video. Between your two newer iterations of burn, rakdos and atarka, which did you think was more competitive? Which was more fun?
Rakdos was probably more interesting, but it's a close call
Amazing as always. Next I'd like to see a deck with Exquisite Blood-Sanguine bond combo. I know they're too costy to play, but maybe you could somehow cheat them in play quickly? I dunno, just an idea
That would be tough, but cool!
In the first Storm match, is there an argument for letting Past in Flames to resolve then popping Relic in response to the first spell they cast so that the Past is removed from the graveyard?
+Movies, Magic, and Anime hmm...possibly
Good stuff
Thanks!
Hey what do you think about putting rampaging ferocidon in rakados burn.
I think a point you missed is that you can get to ferocidon easier with Atarka's command, which isn't always relevant but its there
Also, fantastic vid dude!
Best edition ever .....
I bet you wouldn't be too jaZzed to play MORE burn, but I whipped up something I think would be pretty nice on P.A.F. Interested?
Sure! You can post the decklist in the comments!
You gained another suscriptor
I may have mixed this with vexing claim combo...with long tusks to pressure early bolts it consistent to
+Redheadspellslinger. Awesome!
Good shit dude
Thanks!
You the Maaaannnnn!!
And with that we'll go to game twoooo
@19:06 When you say "We know he has bolt so no point in attacking" isn't the point of attacking there to force him to bolt the guide so he can't gifts?
Do you consider ferocidon better than leyline of the punishment?
how does that compares claim/fame vexing devil burn?
I think ferocidon is worth playing but I would probably just play 2, and I think if I were to play atarka red I would just have to play a couple more become immense and a couple temur battle rage; it might not be better but I love those cards
Is there a way to make abzan midrange better in modern? Youre Decks are always super sweet, I wonder what you could do with the abzan midrange shell
+Leo G. Hmm... Abzan midrange is already pretty sweet!
Magic Aids yes it is, I play it myself. I was just wondering, what different creative way your crazy mind would Be able to transform it to, cause it is by itself so changeable. 😊 ...cause your brews are outstanding good and fun 😊
like the others love your editing
why didn't you get the land from path to exile at 14:30?
So do you stream ?
Wanna see Boros hatebear with ferastodon, mentor, magus of the moon and all the white disruption package from D&T
I am not convinced the Ferocidon has a place in the maindeck here. 3 mana is cumbersome in burn for a creature that gets killed by mainly 1 mana spells even though it's abilities are nice
whats better this or rakdos burn claim/fame
In thr gqme with brimaz I can see him trying to block the ferostodon because it makes a token. Little did the opponent know blockers have to be declared before the token is made
I would like to se more of how your opponent interact with the decks and what your thoughts are. It seems to be pretty heavily edited out.
The second league didn't go as well as the first? You went 5-0 in the first one and 4.5 in the second one! Amazing tech with the batterskull wins too.
+Donovan Powell glad you thought so!
