I was on the fence about buying this drone, but after the keyframe mode was introduced I was sold. Don't really need a drone to follow me and don't really have time to get good at flying one manually in order to get good cinematic shots, but this keyframe feature along with the great obstacle avoidance sounds perfect for me. I ordered Skydio 2+ with the cinematic bundle a few days ago. Hopefully when it comes in it will work as good for me as it appears to work for others on youtube. Now, if these drone manufactures could just make drones QUIETER, like WAY QUIETER, I would probably start a collection.

It's location, seems to be way off compared to the last version, even after creating a new keyframe. Today was extremely cold though, so I don't know if that affected the results of the flight. Still love this drone, it is amazing.
Just the other day I was using my Skydio2+ to film some whales. The water was so very blue! But then they all swam away so I had nothing more to do than go have a scoop of cookies and cream at the ice cream parlor. It was AMAZING!!!!

The speed that you fly the KeyFrame path effects the accuracy, so if you were to fly the path at 5mph then at 10mph, the path may be slightly varied in accuracy. Thank you for your support!
Does keyframes work indoors? I see it won't fly through a standard doorway, but if you fly into a building with wider openings then 3ft would you be able to set keyframes indoors without an issue? (Assuming there is plenty of light indoors)
So if it saves the keyframe, and you don't use the Skydio for a week, can you still load the last keyframe in, or is there a time limit that it is saved for?

I love the Key Frame. You said can do up 100 keys. Only problem is that I MAY DO 20-30 shots them run out of battery before it finishes the Key Frame video. Any help 🙀

Keyframe is tougher to use when you are around snow......I think the sensors have a tough time pinning down the location in a very white environment. I did a multi keyframe path and when I put it in reverse it did ok until it got to a very snowy part of the path and then it crashed moving backwards.. Luckily I found it in the snow and only had to replace a propellor. Ouch Nicole!!!
Well, this is all fine and good as long as you have the new Skydio 2+. I'm not sure how some people are apparently getting Keyframe for the Skydio 2 non +, but I don't have it on my S2. How did you get Keyframe available on the Skydio 2? I don't see the option. I have a Galaxy S21. I do not see the option for Keyframe. I checked the Google Play store and it says the app is not ready for an update. It only has the option to OPEN it. It states the app was last updated on October 8, 2021. The app is version 10.15.5. I have no Keyframe.

Could you add the option to track a subject while flying the spline? So, less rigid than having the key set, but more structured than free look?
Ya, that is available in the cable mode, but you have to trick it... would be nice.

Yep! Works great indoors if there is enough room/light.

Yes, but you must takeoff from the exact same location and orientation in order to load/fly keyframes accurately.

You have to update the firmware in the app. Open the app, connect the drone,v and it should give you the option
I had to reload the app then it was there.
