I use Cable Cam a lot for filming property and vehicles. Please, please add more waypoints. A>B>A is very restricting. Skydio does Cable Cam so much better than any other drone manufacturer. Accuracy is excellent, plotting the points couldn't be simple and combine that with effortlessly hopping around objects between points, it is a fast creative tool. So Skydio - please? I'll even wear a check shirt for my next dinner party (when we're allowed out here in the UK).
Pls allow one of the cable cam modes for the operator to tilt the gimbal and rotate the drone while it flies from point A to point B. Allowing 3 waypoints would be great too. I have faith that you will do it Skydio. Come on let’s do it!!!! Lol!!

@Skydio would love to see an option for this skill also available using the Map with the app. It wouldn’t always be preferred, but it would be advantageous under some circumstances to be able to select the Points by tapping a spot on the map.
Not only can elephants backflip, but I would get in a wheelchair and do a backflip if you can PRETTY PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEEE add more than 2 points for the cable cam mode now to act like the cable cam mode of the 3DR Solo! I am a filmmaker and that is the reason I bought 3 of those 3DR's in the past and can't seem to get rid of them even though I can't use the footage as it used the Hero 4 and the stabilized gimbal wasn't 100% rock steady. If you don't have a 3DR solo to see and emulate how MONSTEROUSLY epic the Cable Cam mode on that beauty is for filmmaking, I will send you one of mine. Either way, my Cinema kit is arriving on Thursday with UPS and I already have this slated for production use at the end of July and as well in Sept.
The Cable skill looks interesting. There should be more points available and the ability to save previous cable set ups. One thing surprised me, I didn't know elephants could backflip. Are then Indian or African elephants?
Hi, I have tried using cable cam multiple times and sometimes I am able to select a subject to track and others the + sign does not show and I cannot select. Any suggestions? Is this a bug?
When will you ads a skill to circle around a fixed object wo getting your commercial software? Currently will only go around a person. Would a work around be to leave the beacon at the fixed spot?
@@XploreAz it’s similar, however Skydio 2 uses visual navigation, not GPS, so you can use CableCam lower to the ground and it will navigate through obstacles as it flys the cable.
If you want to film yourself or you and your friends, it’s great to be able to not have the controller in the shot. But yes, if you’re a skilled pilot, all this is possible with the controller
