- Why can’t you use the bathroom before takeoff? Air travel has its own strict rules. "Keep your window shades open, tray tables put away, seat in the upright position. And don’t go to the bathroom before takeoff!” Speaking about that last one, what’ll happen if you try?
Well, if you insist on using the bathroom before take-off, the plane is likely to stop moving altogether, and everyone on board will be waiting for you to finish your business. And such delays have very costly consequences: if a plane stops taxiing, it’ll lose its place in line and have to wait for others that are scheduled before it can take off! But what are the reasons for that?

Well, not all of them. Some rules are better off respected. While some others are meant to be broken 😉
BRIGHT SIDE, you got so many things wrong!!
1. You can use the Lavatory while boarding is taking place, you are not allowed to do so only if refueling is taking place.
2. The only worst place for turbulence is at the back, from middle to front you really dont feel it as much
3. Air does not enter the cabin from the front, there are vents on the body of newer aircrafts, and from the engines on older models!
4. Air temperature is regulated, so it can be warmed and cooled accordingly, doesnt matter where you sit on the aircraft.

The thing I've experienced is every time I went to the bathroom, bad timing broadcast says "Go back to your seats" and turbulence happened.
They means as soon as your done doing whatever you are doing if you are in the middle of that "business trip" so to speak.
Imagine taking a dump and the captain announces: “we’re about to have turbulence so please fasten your seatbelts.”
You: *gulp* 😰
i would actually be like: *Jumps out emergency exit*

Yes, you can use the lavatories on the ground while the plane is boarding. And just so you know pilots are very concerned about turbulence. If the "Fasten Seatbelt" sign is on because of turbulence flight attendants may still be up and moving and are subject to injury. And just so you know updrafts ARE turbulence.
I think the moral of this "situation" that the passenger in question never had the chance since there weren't enough time between boarding and taxing so they were forced to wait it out.
On a flight from Charlotte to Tampa in 2019, I noticed a lady who looked like she could have been Carrot Top's mom board the plane with a tall Starbuck's coffee. She used the bathroom once we got up to cruising altitude, and used it again right before we landed, AFTER the flight attendants were seated. (Of course, she was sitting in the window seat, so naturally, the other two people to her left had to get up to let her out, and then back in again.) As she went into the aft lavatory, I heard the flight attendant seated in the rear galley tell her, "Make it *fast*!" By the time she sat down, and the three of them clicked their seat belts, we were less than a minute from touching down. So, the next time you absolutely HAVE to have a tall mocha chocacino latte, be sure to book a seat near the lavatory. 😄

This guy didn't done anything that was disruptive or would cause harm. You will only be kicked, arrested and/or banned if you actually deserves to be. This DOES includes not listening to ANY crew member instructions (flight attendants, pilot, First Officer, co-pilot, etc).

You can use the bathroom while the plane is at the gate. But you're holding up passangers trying to board. or you can use the bathroom in the airport before you boaed. It's common sence reasons, you must stay in your seat while the plane is moving on the ground.
I love being early at the airport. Then I can watch all the planes. Fascinating.

It is true, reclining an airplane seat receives hatred when the seat behind is occupied. I'm sure that it is coincidental, but people who recline into an occupied seat behind them seem to tend to subtly and eventually get things accidentally spilled on them, toes accidentally stepped on, luggage scratched, and stepped upon, or other nasty things, done accidentally of course. Just hoping you have a great flying experience :). Now, what was that about you breaking the invisible line, touching the person next to you and waking them from their sleep? ;)

Just like the safety procedure on a roller coaster or other amusement ride, the operator must check to make sure all the riders have their seatbelt fastened and ensure all riders are secured before the ride starts moving.

You can’t use the toilet while taxing, but you can use the toilet on a coach going 50mph (national express)
I always try to use the restroom in the airport before boarding, and avoid drinking too much, especially anything with caffeine. I have been on flights where the fasten seatbelt sign was on the entire time due to turbulence, so they didn't want people getting out of their seats.
When I was younger and hadn't ever flown before, I used to think when a person flushed on a plane, it was flushed outside the plane. I guess I thought that, because I remembered seeing toilet flushing on trains coming out under the train car and landing between the tracks. I remember they had a sign in the restroom saying not to flush when the train was stopped at a station.
I need to drink lots of waters for my health concerns and so you are fine if you needing to use the "john" while in flight. Still listen to all instructions as usual. FAA demands this and you can be booted/arrested for not listening.

7:14 wrong. The airflow doesn’t just go from the front, there’s multiple ‘fans’ throughout thr aircraft that distribute the air. You can even regulate it in such a way, that front, middle, or back can have different temperatures, on purpose.
This has happened to me before we stopped moving when a person went to the bathroom and we had to wait around 40 minutes
3:43 I went to Rarotonga from Auckland on Wednesday 11 March 2020 and I needed to go to the Bathroom but got told to wait for the seatbelt sign to off.

Thunderstorms aren’t always terrible for flyers. Two of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen were thunderstorms. The first time was in 1989, flying Atlanta to London, and we passed over the edge of (leading into) a large Atlantic storm, perhaps a tropical storm, at just the right time of day to see every color of the rainbow in every shade you can imagine. Behind us the sun was setting and the sky was clear, and before us lay the tops of every color clouds as far as you could see. It was like magic, but it was in the days before we humans always kept a high-quality camera to hand at every moment.
In 2020 I was on a flight from Delhi to Frankfurt and a very similar thing happened. There was a very strong thunderstorm affecting Frankfurt, and I think they had our plane circling overhead, waiting for a chance to land. As we were above the storm the sun came up, and when it got above the cloud level I saw the most beautiful shades of white, grey and gold you can imagine! This time I was ready with my phone and took some photos.

I've used the bathroom before takeoff. Of course, not during taxiing. I usually use the bathroom at the airport within 15 minutes of boarding time and I keep my water consumption down--even though they say I should drink lots of water.
