I once flew on Singapore Airlines’ flight from Singapore to New York and it was about 20 hours. It was incredibly long but what made it better was the 3 meals, premium economy and wonderful service from the cabin crew. I walked around from my seat to the bathroom to keep myself active. The cabin was so quiet that I didn’t notice we landed.
Had to go to an emergency trip from Singapore to New York once, returning the same day. 7 hours to Beijing, 7 hours layover (none of my social media apps worked in Beijing so it was torture), 14 hours to New York, and after 12 hours I had to return back to Singapore. Literally the worst experience of my life, my body had never felt so tired. Had to rest a full week after to recover from the experience.
Longest flight I have ever been on was 26hrs from Sydney to Gatwick. It was a long flight and it was made longer when we had to go around a huge storm in Europe.

The longest flight I've ever taken was from Hong Kong to Los Angeles which took me 20h sitting in a Boeing 777-300ER business class. It was awesome but also a bit scary since I was traveling during the pandemic. The flight crew was really nice. The pilots made a butter landing and the whole flight was very smooth. Best flight I've ever had and the most tiring flight I've ever taken.
I have 2 flights one is operated a 3 years old B777 by American airline with first class and another one is by a 1 years old A350-900 operates by Singapore airlines and it took 19H 30min for a go-around
It is sometimes kind of annoying that flight attendants can dim the windows on a 787. On a United flight from India to Newark on a 787 the flight attendant dimmed the windows for the entire flight. They expected all the passengers to sleep 13 hours, but some just can’t.
I had one trip of 11 hours in a 787 Dreamliner. I appreciated that it was humidified more, was quieter, and most important, the air pressure was regulated to feel like you were at 4000 feet rather than at about 6-7 thousand feet. Big difference. I walked off the plane feeling better.
Actually I would prefer 2 flights with layover. Because it gives you some refreshment time and most flights are now scheduled in a way so that you have minimum layover time usually 2-3 hours only
I recently traveled on a dreamliner (united), from San Francisco to Melbourne, Australia. Almost 16 hours. The plane's features were appreciated. But it doesn't make the time go by any faster :)

It's called budgeting, you don't need to be rich to get on a long plane ride at all. Plus plane tickets aren't even that expensive if you know your way around the market place and know where to get great deals without getting scammed.
It’s awesome that you said “at the airport” ! Bc, when my mum filled up water at home before we went to then plane, she had spent $2, only to realise that she’d have to throw it away at the immigration before we got to the plane!

Once I went from London Uk to Bangkok Thailand it was about 19 hours long because of the weather it was quite comfortable I really enjoyed the flight I didn’t have first class but they gave everyone free blankets and food and drinks and the seats could move they gave you thick warm ear coverings and cold ice pack ones depending how warm or cold you are during the time you want to sleep. Before the flight took off they gave you 1 bowl of skinny and thick fries 🍟 and a selection of drinks like coke, Fanta (all flavours), Milk and water and they all stay warm or cold (not first class)
I know about the 787 humidity control and air circulation so physiologically I feel better. The LED lighting is also advantageous to me. I have flown 6 or so 12-15 hour flights on this plane. I really like the 787 a lot and want to try an A350.
The Dreamliner window dimmers are on the windows in economy, but in business or first, some airlines do have the option/button to dim it next to the seat, most airlines do not choose this option. Great video overall!

I noticed the food is slightly better on long hauls. But the main reason why it tastes like garbage is because our taste buds become less sensitive the higher up we go. And the flight crew can only pressurize the cabin to the equivalent of about 7,000 feet or so

I think it would be the same for Johor Bahru, because its literally right next to singapore
I have been on a long haul flight; not an ultra-long haul flight but long haul flight, yes. 3 actually: New York to Dubai, Dubai to Orlando, and Doha to Miami; all took 14-15.5 hours 😊. I saw all the plane details too, like the temperature outside, view of a variety of climates, ground speed... There were games and movies for entertainment; and meals too :)
even before this video i liked long flights more then short ones

Me :: "I NEVER WENT on PLANE"
i never went on a plane*
I’ve had a long flight from Manila, Philippines to Los Angeles, USA, and I only had 2 separate hours of sleep 9o9
Maisha Broski when me and my family go to the phillipines, we have to go to Japan first then Guam because our airport doesn’t go directly to phillipines
I watched this from a flight from China to new York
1:53 The plane does everything to make your journey feel like a dream.
Plane: Crashes and burns to the ground killing almost everyone in a painful way except you.

The longest flight I’ve taken was from Washington to Dubai. We were going there for a connection flight to Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad, and 14 1/2 hours for that flight itself, and it took about a day and five and 1/2 hours (the time in Dubai is a day ahead, then three hours layover, then a two and a half hour flight to Chennai.
How am i supposed to sleep when a kid keeps kicking my seat.
Littlexpea i would tell the flight attendant, and they can have a word with the folks behind you

I did a flight from Singapore to Los Angeles flying Singapore Airlines A350 and i wasn’t able to connect to wifi and flight time was 15 hrs and 41 mins.
Edit: but the rest of the flight was good.
How about Los Angeles to Jakarta?
How about this try Singapore Airlines Newark to Singapore then continue on to Manila that would cost you something around $1,600-1,700. $100 cheaper than PR JFK-MNL $1,800
Baha Zurrianto don’t fly to indonesia, only Singapore.
EpicThe112 no thank you.
But thanks for the suggestion epicthe112
I just love long flights, it is comfortable and I feel like a king when the flight attendants serve me
My longest flight is Boston to Helsinki

Same me aswell
Meh
Bright side your the best !and Singapore is my country!
same here
One reason...
*because they have food...*
I noticed the food is slightly better on long hauls. But the main reason why it tastes like garbage is because our taste buds become less sensitive the higher up we go. And the flight crew can only pressurize the cabin to the equivalent of about 7,000 feet or so
I am six foot six tall. This is a short man’s world.
I am same 😭
My longest flight is just from indonesia to korea
And reverse
I think the longest flight is from Melbourne to New York, 22hrs!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🍹🍸🍹🍸
Great for u
Mine was from Indonesia to Dubai, mom's to America.

I once flew 14 hours
@@procrastinatingcat6195 ah so you beat the world record of the longest every flight of 17 hours which was set this year and was the only person on the non existent plane because you never were on a 18 hour flight
Tripix that is so bad! Dude haw was it?
Clan Shibe the longest flight was 20 hours by singapore airlined normaly it takes 19 so i belive him
Diogo GBS it was wonderful i was flying Emirates a380 business class😄
@@Aqrilla_ Thats not true it was 17 hours but even if it was 20 you would probaly be on the news and it has to be a special flight with less people and you would get first class for free. So. Yeah.
I once went on a 22 hour flight altogether, with a 3 hour layover in the UAE. We live in Sydney,Australia and we were flying to London in economy. We got 4 meals and 2 snacks and drinks.
When you realize you've just watched an 8 min long ad
Exactly my thinking. This is a one sided view. An ad in disguise. I travel 200 days a year BTW. Long haul is a bad for my back and overall health.
Season greetings
