    Dear Don, As you deliver these tips for job bliss, it reminds me of my experiences as an orphan interviewing for foster homes. Of course, there are some different variables-age a big one-but much of what you say, especially about a unique selling proposition, is the same. An orphan shopping for a surrogate home or temporary haven is in much the same position as a jobseeker. An orphan or foster kid needs to learn how to think like a businessman in negotiation fast.

    1. What is your usp unique selling point. How are you going to solve their problems.
    2. Treat them like a client.
    3. Reduce their risk of hiring u. E.g. take a 10k salary pay cu for 90 days

    I have a second job interview on Thursday 05/03/20. I like what your saying and found this video extremely thought provoking and very, very helpful. The content makes a lot of sense and certainly put the second interview issue into its' true perspective.

    I want to thank you; I learn alot from you. I think diffrently now. I got a job, it was not what I really wanted ,At first glance. However, I learn new skills which I really never thought about them. I feel I appriciate this new enviroment. I can find what I want in other places. But, those skills that I learned, l could never find any where.

    Hi Don, I recently did a really well interview and the manager interviewing gave me all of the signs the interview went well... the final part was a skills test which I honestly did not anticipate... I don’t think I did my best and she reaffirmed me by saying she weighs the interview portion much more than the skill test.... I really want get this job... I’ve heard that the skills test is a deal breaker if failed while others say it’s not because the personality and behaviour is harder to train than for a skill... she said she will contact me soon and wrapped up the interviews that day. What is your opinion on the skills test?

    • @DonGeorgevich
      @DonGeorgevich  5 лет назад +2

      i don't believe in computer based skills test.
