- Hey guys! In this video, I go over the full ownership review on my 2019 amg gts! Quick disclaimer! I do not include any service costs BECAUSE the service is not due for another 4 months! Once I have the service completed, i will talk about how much it costs and how much insurance is.
In this video, we go over the exterior, the interior, the sound, the performance and then at the end we take it for a quick spin.
Watch until the VERY END to see the Secret Mode! It's called Gliding Mode and it's awesome. I call it a secret mode because it's is not available on the Dynamic Select switch.
Anyway, in order to activate it, you must be in comfort mode with the auto stop/start button ON. Once you reach certain speeds, if you let your foot off the gas, it will enter gliding mode where your engine with stay at around 500 RPM to consume less fuel. BRILLIANT!

Probably not haha GTs is the sweet spot. GTR is more track focused and I don’t think I’d like it for normal street driving

Great to see you enjoying the car! The LCD displays flashing are going to give us a seizure watching haha. Anything you can do on frame rate or etc to fix that? Otherwise congrats!
Not much I can do haha I record in 60FPS so I probably will have to use a polarizer to just block everything if it’s that bad
@@Amgenetics check out Shmee’s video. He just posted his GTR a few minutes ago and the screens are solid when he has the POV shot. There has to be some setting or something to stop the flashing.
@@robkohen7951 it’s the camera that can’t pick up the refresh rate of the screens. Nothing he can do
Damm you from MA too? Im debating if I wanna get an used lc500 but used prices so damm jacked and the specs I want arent even from here... gotta trade in would u still go out of state or just wait. ah and wait for prices to come down? Im thinking pulling the trigger either this month ...december or like beggining of next year on a 2018/2019. Thanks ah and also enjoyed ur RWD video... got an rc350 f sport rn which is awd... kinda worried about switching to the lc which is rwd. Thanks!
Whats your opinion on AMG GT front grille? I like the 2015-2018 front grille better. Imho it suited better with the long hood.. I will probably pick one yellow or red with in few years (used).
I personally like the new one. Much more aggressive!
@@Amgenetics how reliable is the amg gt based on your knowledge.. I know your car is new? Im also eyeing new Lotus Emira and any slightly used 992 Carrera S.
AMG makes one of the most reliable V8 engines. I’ve had 0 problems so far after 5k miles and 9 months of ownership
Both look good but the Panamericana looks more agresive and modern

Nahh Porsche GT3 is not my style. Maybe in a few years
@@Amgenetics i have a GTS 2016 with DME tunning I’m wondering is Eurocharged better? I’m not happy

@@SuperMedic07 I think Euro may be better than DME. I was given three different softwares because my AMG GTS would shut off while driving (embarrassing). I don’t have the pops and bangs with current program. Not happy
