Great review, Oliur. Just to be pedantic on one point: front mid-engined refers to the positioning of the engine behind the front axle, but ahead of the driver. This is done to improve the weight distribution and improve the handling characteristics of the vehicle.
No way this car stays at current depreciated values. It's simply too good of a car to be under 100k. I think we'll see some SLS appreciation on this thing now that they have stopped making them.
My favourite part of this car is that it isn't as "in your face" as many other models in this price range are, while still turning heads and looking tremendous.

As a tech guy about to get a big raise my first new car has to be this AMG GT. 60-70k for this is ridiculous. I love it's uniqueness. Was thinking of a C8 but that's so such a common choice. Couldn't believe I forgot about this AMG GT choice. I love the F Type and the GT feels like it's cool older cousin 😂 can't wait to own this one day

They are soo rarely seen that when they do show up they catch everybody’s attention… but in a positive way. People seem to think they aren’t t too showy which I believe is true but they have HUGE presence. A bullet proof engine, great build quality … Oh and there’s the noise 🤪😜😝🥰🤗 😮💨. Reasonable service charges not in highest tax bracket , ulez compliant, a grand a year fully comp for me (50+ )and I average 24mpg . 2024
I've just taken one out as I'm intending to buy one early 2022 and boy was I impressed. I've been a porker man for about 25 years or so and love their feel but I've really been taken by all the positive reviews, so I had to have a go. As it's reasonably heavy compared to many sports cars I was expecting a pretty heavy drive and as it's so big I thought the size was going to be an issue. I was totally wrong on both counts. It's as lively as you want and doesn't feel a bit heavy and it actually doesn't feel that big except when you're in town in traffic. The most immediate thing I found was how low you sit and how narrow the landscape view was out of the windscreen. It feels like you're in a formula racing car not a road car and takes some getting used to, even coming from a porker where everything feels a lot more open. The exhaust sound is simply phenomenal with the Akrapovic systems the only ones coming close. It's extremely addictive and I'm so looking forward to getting one.
There’s no discernible turbo lag - what you are referring to when you are cruising is the delay from the transmission shifting down, because you are in Comfort. Switch to Sport + and you will find no delay.
To clean the steering, use a microfiber cloth, only damp and rub it. Believe me. It will really make it like new. Have done it on a few dinamica/Alcantara steering wheels.
i actually love your yhoutube channell ... you have this vibe of Dave2D and Marques Brownlee where you talk softly and use nice music and just focus on calm explanation without giving your own energy too much which is good or hyping up the person for no reason.
Hey Oliur, Can you make a video on the finances behind these types of cars? Do they end up costing you a lot or could you use it for business? All those types of things would be helpful especially since running costs of something like a GT-S are sky high. Thank you my friend
Excellent video. You should try Sonax to clean the steering wheel. I had a full alcantara interior in my Cayman GTS and Sonax once a month would keep it nice and soft.

Because of the global chip shortage, many high performance cars have gone UP in value than say 3-6 months ago.
