I had the iPhone 12 Pro Max. After seeing a lot of footage from the iPhone 15 Pro/Max, I knew I had to have it. So, I went from the 12 to the 15 as quickly as I could. It's amazing what it can capture. So glad I made the switch. Thanks for sharing your excellent imagery.

Love this video Sean. For so long I was convinced you couldn't get quality footage from a phone - the 15 Pro Max has changed my mind. Completely! I'm not saying that cameras have no place, of course they do. But the 15 gives you so much in your pocket that (to me) it's revolutionary. Yes it's expensive for a phone, but as a creative tool it feels very good value for money. I picked mine up last week and can't wait to see what it can do.

Great video! I thought about buying the iPhone 15 Pro for video... then I say the new DJI Osmo Pocket 3 with the 1 inch sensor! It's on a gimble, so there's no loss of image quality due to digital stabilization. And with the 1 inch sensor... it absolutely BLOWS AWAY the iPhone 15 Pro in low light. Film makers are really excited about this new camera/gimble from DJI. You gotta check it out. Really interested in what you think about it.
Your comment almost turned my world upside down! Lol I have my heart set on an iPhone 15 pro max and when you've mentioned low light capability on the DJI pocket 3i went to check it and you're right! It looks great in low light, I have a DJI pocket 1.
My faith has been restored in the iPhone though as I don't think the DJI has the ability for optical zoom, for me I'll take the iPhone with the weaker low light as it has the option to change lenses with the touch of a button. The DJI is very exciting though, also bear in mind the DJI is fragile (so is the iPhone really) and the DJI mimo app is not available on Android (in case you have one)
You should work on your framerate, if its not set right it will still like footage from a smartphone

Bro, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro can take 12 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. But iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro can only take 10 bit colour depth photo when ProRaw turned on. Why ?
I don't have an iPhone, so can anyone please let me know if you turn ProRaw in 12 megapixel instead of 48 megapixel, can it take 12 bit photos ?
I'm curious about this because, 12-bit = 68 billion colours. But, 10-bit = 1.07 billion colours. That's a huge difference.
If iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro cannot take 12 bit photos, that seems to be a huge downgrade !

I've seen that in iPhone 13 Pro, it takes up to 25 mb for 12 bit photos ( Showed in ProRaw settings ) . In iPhone 15 Pro if we take 12 megapixel instead of 48 megapixel it also says up to 25 mb. Does that mean it's still there and just not showing or Apple completely removed it, I don't know. I hope it's still there.

@@zisanahmed8347 I was also curious, but I meant the file sizes for video because recording on 12bit produces exponentially bigger file sizes than 10bit and to the average content creator it isn't worth it. It would require much more time and storage to process it. At least that's what I think it might be the reason.

The only thing I don't like about the iPhone is the lens they use make people look like zombies and they lens be blurry you have to put to much makeup (editing) on videos hope the iPhone 16 is theatre worthy

Still looks like phone footage. Sean, you've been tricked by what you see on the iPhone screen. FX30 footage looks far, far better in most cases.
iPhone 13 Pro has ProRes and far less artificial sharpening and excessive contrast than iPhone 14 Pro. Apple is picking (y)our pockets every year. I'd wait for the iPhone 16 which should finally have the 1 inch sensor and hopefully a better one than the one in the 14 and 15 Pro whose colours are not as good as the sensor from the iPhone 13 Pro.
Disagree with that, I upgraded from the 13 and the 15 pro max is much better 🎉
